Troubles

Laying in a bath with Sakazuki and Sengoku, Ghost swam and I simply observed. Sengoku asked, "Why are you two so different in temperment?"

'I'm eons older,' I said.

"Devil was like that in the beginning, remember? All that trouble he caused was out of boredom until Ghost came along," Sakazuki pointed out calmly.

'Really?! I wish I could have seen,' Ghost said.

"He was a real devil. Nobody got out of his pranks unscathed," Sengoku sighed, "You wont be like that right?"

'I'm offended you think that I would,' Ghost complained.

'We scared three people to death so you wouldnt go in the female barracks...,' I pointed out to him.

Both humans stiffened up. Ghost smirked, 'I just wanted to play.'

It's been a year since Ghost contracted with Sengoku. He became half my size and gained his jewelry. Three blue dangling cross earrings with sapphire jewels on each ear, a blue ribbon bowtie, and small blue and silver bells on his ears. His eyes now an ice blue with silver irises and ice blue pupil. His fur grew out a bit, similar to how I kept mine but his was pure white with an elegant look to it.

This was the day Smoker left for Louge Town. Since Ghosts contract, he became more mischievous but we never did anything to those who offered us things or Smoker. He is Grey after all.

As we watched a new boat of recruits roll in, Smoker sat next to us and offered jerky to us. Ghost purred and lightly touched his shoulder in thanks. I sighed, 'Hes leaving. Let him pet you.'

Ghost hesitated but lightly head butted Smoker and watched nervously as Smoker lightly pet Ghost, "You are very soft."

'Did you hear him?! He said I was soft!' Ghost excitedly meowed.

'Calm down or he will stop,' I meowed.

Smoker thought I was asking to be pet as well so he scratched my chin, "As are you."

I purred satisfied. Smoker sighed, "I have to leave though. When I come back, I'll bring all kinds of snacks."

We meowed in acceptance and watched him get up and walk away.

We sulked for a while, watching the ship leave. Then it happened. The newbies spotted us and some approached. The person who brought them tried to warn them to leave us alone but nobody cared if they made a cat mad...

Ghost stiffened up upon being touched, 'Someones touching me...'

I glanced over and found a female curiously watching Ghost as if I wasnt there. The captain quickly come over and told her to quit. The girl ignored him, "The cat seems fine with it."

The captain shook his head. I pushed the girl onto the ground, growling in her face. She tried to push me off but instead nudged Ghosts side, making him jump and become encircled in people. He cried loudly for help as hands came down at him. The captain was yelling but nobody listened.

Angry, my furry puffed up a bit and I let a roar out as I tossed people out of the way. Seeing a clear path to me, Ghost made a mad dash and hid underneath me, crying. The group of recruits pride was hurt by a cat.

As many of them prepared to fight me, a voice cleared, "So this is where you were."

I glanced at the voice and frowned. Aokiji was just an onlooker. The recruits didnt know him so they threw caution to the wind when he didnt try to stop them. Aokini chose to shushed the captain instead.

I continued to toss people about easily but now I was bored and they were getting angrier by the second instead of quitting. As I continued to fight with them, Ghost cried out again. A real cry this time, 'Salem... It hurts... My necklace was ripped off by someone... It hurts...'

Finding the girl who first touched him, with his necklaces in her hands. I mauled the bitch, tearing her arms off and returning the necklaces to Ghost. They fought harder, "For the life stolen."

That's when Sakazuki and Sengoku showed up. Ghost still called out to me, but the connection with the two also picked it up, 'Salem, it hurts... Make it stop hurting... Please...'

I roared furiously at the recruits in my way. Sengoku yelled, "You call yourselves marines?!"

The recruits snapped to attention. The captain quickly explained the situation and Aokiji had already disappeared. I shoved my way to Ghost and noticed a missing necklace. Aokiji took it. I teleported him back to the grounds and stared at him.

Aokiji tried to leave but I was already on top of him. As a warning, I scratched him. From his left temple to the righ side of his jaw, he started bleeding heavily so I took the necklace back and put it on Ghost. When I did, he stopped crying so hard and passed out.

I licked Aokiji after he passed out, healing his wounds but leaving massive scars. I cleaned Ghost up and carried him to Sakazuki, 'I killed the bitch who hurt him. Aokiji took one, he thought we wouldnt notice in the commotion.'

Sakazuki leaned down, scaring the recruits for his life. I stood on my hind legs, my front paws went around his neck as I put Ghost under my chin and glared at the recruits. Gaining an idea, Sakazuki smirked, "Since they like fighting the little devil so much, they can join my groups training."

Now they were scared. Sengoku seemed to ponder it, "Well, your group tends to be more obedient anyways. Go ahead."

I meowed, 'I cant wait to play with your puny souls.'

Everyone shivered without knowing why, aside from Sakazuki and Sengoku. They now knew they messed up. Sakazuki brought us to the baths, where we chilled for a bit in he water until Ghost woke up.

'It hurt so much. Why did they come off?' Ghost said pitifully.

'Its because you havent fully integrated your powers,' I said and pulled him closer, 'I'm going to barrier you. Nobody will touch you unless you permit it.'

"Are you okay now?" Sakazuki asked a bit worried.

'I...,' Ghost started to speak but ended up silently crying.

I pulled him under my chin, 'Never again, love. Never again. If I cant be at your side, then Grey will.'

Sakazuki raised an eyebrow, "Who is Grey?"

'The third. I am darkness, the first. Ghost is light, the second. Grey is balance, the third,' I said and sighed, 'We are a married trio.'

Sakazuki grunted. Ghost soon fell back asleep. Sakazuki brought us to Sengoku's office so we weren't near many people. When Ghost woke up again, I told him my plan. Sengoku also asked about Grey so I said the same thing I did to Sakazuki.

When night came, Sakazuki, Sengoku, Ghost and I went deep into the forest and I called out (acting), "@#$%^&*, bring balance upon the world and grace us with your presence."

Mentally to myself alone, 'unseal Grey.'

-Unsealing Grey in human form-

A fog, or perhaps smoke, rolled out of the clouds and descended, slowly turning into a grey haired Jason Momoa. As he opened his eyes, I smirked, "Before you speak, let me fill you in."

He nodded and watched the memories I sent him. He nodded, "I see. Then I wish to make a deal."

I glanced at Sakazuki, "He must allow me to."

Sakazuki raised an eyebrow, "Go ahead but keep it moderate."

I nodded and shifted to human form, stretching and popping, "I dislike this form..."

"I wish to make a deal. For temporary contract to be made between us in exchange for the absolute protection over...," Grey said and glanced at Ghost.

"Ghost," I said.

"Indeed. Temporarily I'll bind myself to you in exchange I give absolute protection to Ghost," Grey said.

I poofed up a contract, "You know the deal."

After he signed, he became a grey cat as large as I was, longer fur with pure grey bells, pentagram necklaces, and four tails. I went back to being a cat and readjusted before leaning on him, "Its been long, love. How are you?"

"Hungry and tired," he yawned.

I passed a bottle of blood, "The bitch who hurt him."

Sengoku still had a blank look. Sakazuki frowned, "That was it?"

Grey smiled, "As long as both light and dark wish me to be unsealed, I am. It was others who unsealed them."

"As balance is needed for the world to continue, it is easy and necessary to leave him mostly unsealed," I said.

"We will never not want him with us," Ghost chimed in.

Sengoku finally caught up, "You have human forms?"

"We are free forming beings. As long as we wish it, we could be anyone," I smiled.
