As I laid down, thinking about the different options I had, I couldnt figure anything out. So I asked the system, 'Do I have any forgotten quests?'

-Having defeated two previous Kenpachi, you are one away from becoming Kenpachi and being granted a name. Your subordinates need to become stronger as well for future battles. Find an uninhabited island and summon a squad for subordinates to fight-

-Create Ability-

-With knowledge of many abilities, use your own power to awaken one instead of buying it-

'....Two are not enough for a squad fight, especially if it's against an entire division.... Giving them familiars wont help much... And I know of one ability I can gain myself right now but will it cause issues?'

-You can recreate the Soul Society's Gotei 13 by appointing captains and lieutenants. WARNING: Only lieutenants of a captain can gain powers from the pact. All other subordinates must be appointed by their captain via blood pacts after rigorous evaluation and testing-

'Holy shit!' Aka's voice sounded in my head.

'What the fuck is this voice?!' Kuzan's voice sounded.

'Ouch! Fuck stop screaming mentally! How much have you heard?' I asked them.

'We heard all of it. Since I'm the head captains lieutenant, I'll find the proper people for our squad. I think we should have Kuzan become a captain, and appoint him into research and development.' Aka said.

'Can I just be called K? I'm not a researcher, so please dont... And what is the Gotei 13?' Kuzan, now K, asked.

'Aka, please explain the different parts to him. I was thinking of making him 5th captain since he has mana manipulation and would do well with those type of abilities.' I said.

'Indeed. He could also do well as 6th. Anyways, what was the ability you thought of?' Aka asked.

'Its a surprise. Once he has done the mental cultivation, let's get familiars and start getting this in order. I've found 10th and a lieutenant, possibly more. Update me after you read this file though,' I said and sent One Piece story to Aka, 'K, I'm counting on you as well so cultivate and understand your new position. I'm cutting off the rest of the conversation. The line will go back up in 3 hours.'

After saying our goodbyes, I turned off our link so the rest of the conversation was private. 'System, Am I to assume that a bigger threat is out there?'

-The captains subordinates should be picked after waking up. Organization created should stay in the shadows until all Captains and lieutenants are found-

-Subordinates can recieve quests, small item inventory, personal rewards from quests and use tickets. Tickets can only be used by the owner of the ticket unless gifted-

"Are you awake?" a voice whispered in my ear softly.

I was startled by the new voice, thinking it was in my head, 'The fuck?'

Recieving no response, I realized my mistake. As I was about to speak, the voice sounded in my ear again, "If it meant taking responsibility completely, I'll take any curse as long as we're together... But I cant just tell you that, now can I?"

My hair was brushed from my eyes and a kiss was placed on my forehead, "Even if I watch from the shadows, I dont mind. Even if I have to go to war against Sengoku, I'll do it."

I was unable to respond, let alone think properly. On reflex, I pressed my body to his to hide my face as I reconnected the link and replayed what was said to me to the others.

'Is this 10th's words?' Aka said.

'He seems more an 11th type to me. 10th needs more of a commanding presence that can get things straightened out quickly.' K said.

'Indeed. I was just thinking he would make a better 11th...' I said, 'You two continue your tasks. I'll evaluate him better.'

Unbenounced to me, I spoke out loud letting the person know of my plans. He stayed silent and pretended I never spoke, holding me close to him. I cut the connection again and started thinking, 'I should start working on that power soon huh?'

-Time limit to awake ability is 3 days-

'Well fuck... I better start on it after he falls asleep... What is the best way to awake it though... Meditation is the only way to go since nobody has the power yet... I'll do that then.'

The person next to me was making soft snoring like sounds, so I got up. Sitting on the ground, I started meditating and trying to feel the different types of nodes on my body.

When the sun came up, I had accomplished half of my goal but couldnt stop until done. The person on the bed sat up, trying their best to remain silent. I ignored them and pushed on, opening more nodes.

The sun was setting and I had a few left, my energy running thin. The person had come back and was sitting on the bed watching, waiting. Using the last of my energy, I forced the nodes open and felt energy surround my body. I sighed and stopped as the system told me I created the basics of my ability. Standing up slowly as my body popped, I placed a cup of water with a leaf in it on the table in a pot. "Let's see if this really worked..." I said and placed my hands next to the cup and focused my energy.

Nothing seemed to change so I tried the water, now flavored like weak tea. I activated my shinigami eye after changing the water and tried again, moving the leaf. I nodded and deactivated my shinigami eye, activated my ghoul eye and tried again, dust forming in the water. I replaced the water and activated both eyes before trying again, this time the cup shattered while half the water froze and the other half boiled into a thick smoke.

"For fucks sake...." I said and cleaned up before deactivating my eyes, "Too troublesome...."

"What was that?" the person asked.

"Its like Haki but more overpowered," I said and sat down.

"And your eyes?" he asked.

"Part of my bloodline...," I half lied.

He didnt speak as I laid in his lap. When I looked up at him, he seemed sad yet happy. When I asked, he just patter my head and smiled, "You talk in your sleep."

"How much do you know....," I asked hesitantly.

"You said something about 11? Then sent someone on a task," he said.

"I see. So you knew I would evaluate you. Then I'll be blunt," I sat up and looked into his eyes, "If you had power, what would you use it for?"

He didnt speak for a bit as he thought of mainly protecting the weak and fighting wicked. He spoke finally, "We have laws for a reason. If someone doesnt enforce them, then why have them?"

"I see. So you're a law enforcer before a killer. Good, youd do well as 6th instead of 11th..." I mumbled and reestablished the connection, speaking aloud this time, "He isnt 11th. Hes 6th. How is training going?"

'Well. We have gone as far as we can on cultivation without special resources. K has managed to understand his skills better and can use other elements at half power. I've also made a list of people I believe would do well as captains.' Aka sent.

'Do you need us for any thing?' K asked.

"Yes. I'll need a guard tomorrow afternoon until evening. Aka will take control of the ship and proceed as Smoker wants while he is incapacitated. I'm going to begin now. Come back tomorrow at noon." I said and ended the link.

"Incapacitated?" Smoker said cautiously.

"You will be reborn into another body if we do this. Do you wish to continue?" I asked.

Smoker began to think before agreeing, "Yes."

"Captain.. Are you sure about this? He chose that as a race..." Aka said curiously.

"Think nothing of it. He knew the pros and cons, let it be," I said as I waited for a swirling smokey egg to break.

As I finished speaking, the ritual was ready to begin. I sent Aka back out as I cut my hand and began the chant, "Bound by fate, our lives now become one. Forever cursed to roam the earth, forever blessed with each others company. Do you accept the pact?"

The egg broke apart and a tall man with white hair came out, "I accept the pact."

WARNING: Host is asked to upgrade subordinates body or he wont survive a single strike, as the curse uses 100% power on the bearer and 5-10% for punishing others-

'Where did that voice come from?!' Smokers voice mentally yelled as he looked around.

"Fuck! Dont yell mentally if you havent cut the connection!" I hissed and handed him clothes, "6th captain of the new Gotei 13, I welcome you. The voice you heard is my.. ability.. It told you your new changes, powers, and curse. Congratulations, Aka will train you for a few days in mental cultivation after I upgrade your body enough to withstand a strike from the world laws."

'System, use upgrade tickets on Smoker.' I mental said to the system only.

-30 minutes to upgrade. Use 16 tickets-

'Thank you...' I mentally sighed before yawning and laying down, "Rest for 30 minutes and you're good to go..."

Another egg cacoon of smoke enveloped him, thirty minutes later it broke apart.

"We will dock at HQ soon," Aka said the next morning.

"Yawn... how about some familiars when were done?" I yawned and said as I sat up. I was exhausted and needed a serious nap or energy drink.

"....Are you sure?" K asked.

"Yeah. Stay hidden K, I dont want a fight to break out." I said as the ship slowed and docked. Changing into my blood red No Face outfit, I soon left the room and sat on Smokers shoulder.

"Dont mention the contract. Unless he mellows out, I wont offer it to him," I whispered to Smoker.

"Understood. Is it alright that I bring Tashigi in? She is a great lieutenant," Smoker said as we left the ship, catching attention.

"Vice admiral Smoker... I dont think The fleet admiral is okay with bringing children to HQ," a marine said worriedly to us.

"I'm not a child...." I said a little angrily.

Smoker just ignored the marine and walked toward Sakazuki's office. The further we went, the more people questioned Smoker about me. Once we were in front of the office, I hide in the shadows while Smoker knocked on the door.

A voice inside spoke, "Come in."

"Fleet admiral, I've brought this," Smoker said after entering the room.

Sakazuki looked at him from his paperwork, "Brought what?"

"....Er... Its on your desk," Smoker said and looked at me.

I had landed on the far side of the desk and was quietly watching the exchange, not really hiding myself. As Sakazuki looked just at his immediate area and not to the side, he didnt see me. Becoming angry, he spoke, "Is this some kind of game?"

I decided to bail Smoker out before he got in trouble for my antics, "Who said we were playing a game? I want to play a game."

Sakazuki looked at me quickly and grabbed me, "You little brat!"

"Sorry! I made him do it!" I said and let him capture me, "Thank you for going along with my antics, Smokey..er... Smoker."

The room went silent. Sakazuki may have realized something, as he squeezed me harshly. Smoker decided to tell him, "Fleet admiral, I helped this one with a project and ever since I've been named Smokey, much to my displeasure. I ask you to make it stop."

Sakazuki glared at Smoker, "What project?"

"Erm... the stitches... on the arms and legs..." Smoker threw me under the bus and looked away, "As I helped, he told me about some bits of his past and why they were needed. I still dont understand but I'd rather help than watch something so cruel be done."

Sakazuki loosened his grip and looked at me, "Show me."

"Aye Sir," I said and pulled up my pant legs and sleeves, "Reminders. It keeps me sane."

"Reminders of what," Sakazuki said angrily, about to burn them off.

"If you burn them, I'll just redo them. Or is it that you want me to lose control?" I asked.

"Reminders. Of. What!" he said louder.

"One side is my death. The other side is my kills. Do you know which is which?" I asked with a yawn.

"Either is a bad number," he said with a frown.

"Indeed... Yawn... I went crazy for two years," I said and sat on the armrest of his chair.

"Go ahead and sleep. I have work to do. Smoker, your dismissed," Sakazuki said and went back to his paperwork.

Smoker looked at me for confirmation, so I mentally told him, 'Go ahead for now, practice your new skills and coordinate with Aka and K if you need help.'

Smoker left after giving confirmation. I tried to fall asleep but kept shivering in pain, my arm was burning. I grumbled and grabbed the needle and thread, stitching in the handful of new stitches, under the watchful eyes of Sakazuki.

"How many do you have," he asked.

"On which side? Or do you mean both?" I asked.

"The side your working on..." he said with a frown.

"66,976 on the right. 10,328 on the left. That is, once I finish the handful I need to add," I said and started stitching.

"Which is your death count?" he asked hesitantly.

"66,976. I've died 13 times since I came to the new world. Most of those are Kenpachi fights or willing deaths," i brushed it off like it was nothing but was mentally worried he might do something.

"I should burn them off of you...." he said angrily.

"Doing that is the same as turning me into a mindless beast driven mad with pain," I said and my eyes changed for a split second.

"And if some accidently break?" he said with a raised eyebrow.

"My subordinates would have to take me away and fix it. If too many are broken, I become crazed. If a few are broken, I become crippled with pain and attack everyone I dont have a mental connection to. I advise not doing that," I said with a slight smile.

"So you have subordinates?" he asked unamused.

"I do. Aka even became my lieutenant," I said and put the needle and thread away.

"Who are the other ones?" he asked with a glare.

"I wont say. If you purposely break some of the stitches, I cant guarantee your safety, so dont even think about it," I stated angrily.

"Fine. Go to sleep already," he shook his head and went back to his paperwork.

I woke up in pain, my kagune out and covered in blood. Aka holding my arm down as he stitched quickly. Smoker covered in blood and smoke dancing around his body as he healed. "Aka asked me to guard Sakazuki in case he did something stupid and you lost control... K stayed on the ship as you asked."

"Thank you..." I said softly as the pain subsided slowly.

"You arent even human anymore," Sakazuki said quietly.

"Never was a human," I mused aloud.

".....Leave." Sakazuki said.

"Is this goodbye?" I asked, staring into his eyes.

"No. I need time." he said and sighed.

Smoker lifted me into his arms, "We have found the island you spoke of. Do you wish to go now or at a later date?"

"Now. Let's finish that so I can work on the next part." I said as I was carried away.
