Magic Training

Sylphy waved at me as she was in her Father's embrace, he hugged her tightly after hearing what happened to her earlier.

"Bye!" Sylphy exclaimed as I steadily walked away, waving at her. As my silhouette disappeared over the horizon, She felt a little bit sad after all, She didn't know when I was going to come again…

And then I appeared in front of Sylphy and her father with a slight smile.

"You can meet me on that hill where we met tomorrow," I said and then shot into the air leaving Sylphy's father speechless.

Navigating through the air with Infinity surrounding my body, I couldn't help but feel a sense of happiness. Sylphette was a great character in Mushoku Tensei and a great waifu too! Although her chest area didn't seem to accentuate by a lot, She did have a nice character and her ass was nothing short of amazing.

I soared above the clouds, feeling them against my face as I chilled in the sky. Surely, I would be going to the Orphanage soon but that didn't mean I couldn't rest and wait for a little time…

Not to mention that I had been seeing Ruth quite a few times in the past year, of course only in Shadow Clone form and one thing came to my mind…

'Excessive Perv,' I thought with a sigh.

The girl was even more of a perv than Rudeus… I couldn't actually believe something like that was possible but there was a saying, What a man does best… A woman can do better.

Although I didn't really like to believe this saying, I couldn't say it was wrong in this regard… Not to mention she already has three of Roxy's panties!

Rudeus literally spent years before he could achieve just a single Panty and here Ruth had already taken three… A sense of insecurity wafted around me. If I were to go there for real then really, She would steal my boxers!

Of course, The bullies didn't stop one day after Rudeus dealt with them. They stopped after a little while though but that was after the many complaints to Paul…

And then the green haired girl with crimson eyes walked into my line of sight, Her clothes different from the ones she wore yesterday. Instead of wearing a white cloak, She wore a small black shirt and brown shorts.

"Any bullies?" I asked and she shook her head.

"Surprisingly, None of them came my way today," Sylphy replied with a smile, "Although I'm sorry I came late, My mom was braiding my hair,"

Ahh, Her hair… looked different. There were five straight braids instead of long green hair, although I had to admit, I knew Sylphette had short hair from the anime… 

'AU is AU,' I thought and then got up with a stretch, "Nice, You look pretty,"

The green haired girl blushed at the compliment but her eyes lit up the next moment.

"You were going to teach me Magic," She said excitedly, "I want to learn how to shoot balls of water and fire…"

And the girl kept on talking, Honestly she was a lot more excited than my first time trying magic. As she kept on talking and prostrating, I opened the Creation page and got to drawing, I drew a small pill and then went ahead and typed some stuff in the description section.

Yeah, There were some ways to cheat the system into creating items for lower prices, And that was by turning them into smaller things with the same effect. 

I purchased the pill and it appeared in my hand, it's small white figure simply giving off a unique divine aura. 

"Hey, Phil, I bought this pill for you," I said, "It'll help you with magic,"

Her eyes widened as she stopped talking and ran to me, eager to test the pill out. Yep that's children for you, Excited about everything.

"Say Aah!" I exclaimed and she opened her mouth, revealing her glistening white teeth and pink tongue. I put the pill in and she closed her mouth, swallowing it.

The effects were rather instant, The aura around her changed as the magical potential hidden deep within her DNA code was unleashed!

The girl felt her sight blurring as her legs lost their power and she fell over only to be caught in my strong arms. Her eyes closed and slight snores left her lips, indicating that she was fast asleep.

I put her next to me on the tree and waited… I waited… And waited… She awoke thirty minutes later, rubbing her eyes.

"Umm, Light…" Sylphy said, "What happened?"

"You fell asleep after taking the pill," I replied, "But as you're awake now, We're going to start your training,"

The excitement on her face made me happy as well and I felt the sudden urge to look at her status, my eyes widening in surprise at what I found.

Her talents sure were amazing, but her stats apart from Vitality and Charm were super low… Not everyone has the potential to unlock five talents. 

Now the question was: What were Talents? Wasn't Rudeus able to use all types of magic? The specific thing was that even a Mage was capable of using all kinds of magic except Light and Dark magic which required special requirements to be unlocked but, A talent was what helped you strengthen your magic faster. 

For example, I have a talent for Fire Magic which will help my fire magic develop at an unprecedented rate. But in some rare magic like Light, Dark and Infinity, One needed to have the talent before being able to cast the spells.

But she unlocked a Light magic nature? Is it because she's so innocent? Nevertheless, That's an amazing thing. Although she doesn't have as much talents as I do, The light magic nature will make her an exceedingly powerful mage.

Well, Let's start with Fire magic. We'll start with a basic spell like Fire ball with the chant and let's see how much she can perform.

"A basic Fire spell," I said, "That's what we are going to start with,"

"Let the great protection of fire be on the place thou seekest. I call the bold heat of a torch here and now. Fireball!" I exclaimed and then flames revolved around my palm as I targeted the air, The fire ball shot from my hand, the heat emanating from it causing sweat to roll down Sylphy's face as the ball of fire detonated in the sky resulting in a minor explosion.

As a powerful wind generated from the attack pushed our hair back, I smiled.

"Once you master that technique, It won't be hard to make it this powerful," I said and smiled.

Sylphy looked at my back and a smile crossed her face.

"I want to try!" She exclaimed and jumped in happiness, I nodded and positioned myself at the tree, "Just repeat the chant that I said earlier,"

 She stepped forward and pointed her hand into the air, her crimson eyes letting off a soft glow as determination seeped into her veins.

"Let the great protection of fire be on the place thou seekest. I call the bold heat of a torch here and now. Fireball!" Sylphy exclaimed and magic seemed to burst to life at her fingertips, flickers of flames forming before a medium sized ball of fire soared into the air.

The ball of fire exploded shortly after and although it wasn't as powerful as mine, It was equally as powerful as the first Fireball Hoki ever showed me!

'Such potential,' I thought and decided to look at her magic stat…

Just with a single Fireball, Her reserves grew to 3. Releasing the full extent of her potential was really scary but as long as I had Infinity, I didn't have to worry about this girl surpassing me.

She turned to me and I let out a warm smile.

"That was nothing short of amazing," I said and flashed her a thumbs-up, "Really great for your first time using magic,"

"Okay," She said, her face red. I also noticed she didn't look flustered after using Fireball for the first time, Which meant she could still use more.

"Alright, Keep on firing Fireballs until you're tired," I said, "It's an excellent way to train your magical power,"

And I discovered her limit was 5 Fireballs, She could use the Fireball spell 5 times before getting tired which was once again really great for her first time. Over time, If she continued this exercise, Her mana reserves would grow but I wanted her to use the magic she only had talent for.

If one didn't have a talent for water magic and went ahead to use Water magic, It would use a lot more mana than someone that had a talent for it and the funny part of it was that, It wouldn't be powerful as someone with the talent for it.

Of course being an elf and all, She had Wood magic nature which meant she could use Nature magic. That was really nice and let's not mention the extra perk of Light magic, It's only a little time before this little girl becomes as Overpowered as fuck. Now all she has to do is to exercise her MP daily and let it grow, so she will have a large mana reserve. Not as huge as mine but big nonetheless.

"That was draining," Sylphy said as she sat on the grass of the small hill, clearly exhausted.

"Of course Phil, You'll feel drained but if you continue practicing your Fire ball magic everyday, You can increase the power of the move as well as last longer while using it," I pointed out.

The girl looked at me with a little pout.

"Huh? What?" I asked.

"Don't call me Phil anymore!" She complained, "My name is Sylphette,"

"Then Sylph would be nice," I remarked with stretched arms.

Her face turned red out of shyness.

"Anything you want to call me," She said while lowering her head.

'Ahh, Submissive girls are the best,' I thought with a satisfied smile as I pointed to the sky, seeing that it got dark.

"It's going to rain soon," I said.

Sylphy looked at the sky and saw the truth in my words, A distant rumble vibrated through the air.

"Where are we going to go?" Sylphy asked.

"Your place," I replied and got off from the ground.

Another rumble went through the clouds and I stretched. 

"Alright Sylph, don't struggle," I said, scooping her into my hands and shooting off into the air, heading for her house…

Sylphy looked up at my face and smiled, a sign that she was grateful.

Author's Note:

I just wanted to change up from the anime a bit, After all, Sylphette is a prominent mage but due to generalization, She became a lot weaker than she was supposed to be… Imma change that up in this fic!

Also, I am going to give Sylphy a lot more curves here… She's flat as fuck in the original.
