The next day, several marine warships and world government ships came to the archipelago.

Sengoku, accompanied by three masked figures, the CP 0 and Akainu, came towards the bar where Max was sitting.

"Bastard" The three masked figures become enraged seeing Max using celestial dragons as slaves.

"Stop, let's first rescue celestial dragons." Sengoku stopped them, seeing that they were planning to attack Max.

"Oh, you are here, dog king, with your herd of dogs," Max sneered and said.

"We brought the devil fruits. Take these devil fruits and release them." Sengoku didn't mind Max's words and remarked.

The sailors then brought five boxes and placed them in front of Max.

"These boxes contain the devil fruits," Sengoku said, pointing at the boxes.

"Open them," Max said.

Sengoku nodded, and a sailor opened all the boxes.

"Hmm, 41 devil fruits, which means there is one Logia, or mythical zoan," Max thought, looking at the devil fruits.

'They are confident that they can take back the fruits after rescuing the Celestial Dragons' Max inwardly chuckled at Sengoku and others who were confident; their confidence was literally oozing from them.

Max nodded and stood up, then vanished and quickly came to the boxes. Waving his hand, he stored all the boxes and vanished again, saying "Adios.".

Others weren't able to react to Max's speed, as Max only took one second to steal all the boxes.

Sengoku and others eyes started flashing red. Their observation haki is fully turned on, trying to locate Max, but they weren't able to.

"He ran away!" Akainu shouted and kicked the ground.

"Kizaru, did you see him?" Sengoku frowned and asked.

"No, his speed is even faster than mine," Kizaru said in a serious tone. This is the first time anyone has defeated him in speed.

"Even you weren't able to catch him?" Sengoku exclaimed, hearing Kizaru's voice.

"Put a bounty on him," one of the CPs said as they carried the unconscious Celestial Dragons.

"Hello, he escaped." One of the CPs contacted and informed the five elders.

"How?" Saint Mars asked.

"He ran away without even fighting; it seems like his goal was Fruits all along," CP 0 replied.

"Hmm, bring back the celestial dragons and use all personnel to find that bastard," Saint Warcury remarked coldly and cut the call.

After their failure to locate Max, they returned.

At Marineford's Sengoku office

"I don't think his purpose was only to get demon fruits," Tsuru said after Sengoku told her what happened during the Celestial Dragon rescue.

"Hmm, if his purpose was only Devil Fruits, then he wouldn't have humiliated the Celestial Dragons," Sengoku nodded and said.

While all this is happening, Max is flying towards his next target, Impel Down.

"Idiots, did they really think I was going to waste my time fighting them?" Max laughed mockingly as he used his Jack's Compass to fly towards Impel Down.

He is going there for two reasons: one is to harvest UP, and the other is to harvest Devil Fruits. He already checked the Devil Fruits, and he got four useful fruits; the rest are simple zoans and a weak paramecia like thin-thin fruit.

The useful fruits he got are push-push fruit, cold-cold fruit, slow-slow fruit of the Paramecia series, and logia, Bandage- Bandage fruit.

These fruits, after synthesis, will give him good fruit.

After 10 minutes, Max finally reached the Impel Down.

Max then used a stealth spell and appeared at the first level of Impel Down—the Crimson Hell. Here, the trees have blade-like leaves, and the grasses are like needles. The prisoners get cut from leaves, causing them to shed blood and turning the level blood red, hence the name Crimson Hell.

After arriving here, Max used his judgment eyes to determine if this place had any innocent prisoners, and he found six of them. Reading their minds, he understood why they were imprisoned here. They just didn't bow when celestial dragons passed by.

Max went near them and healed them; their bodies have countless cuts, and he told them to follow him quietly.

Reaching the second level—the wild beast hell—he ignited the first level with his ashen flames, killing every single soul there.

Max then repeated this on every level, and when he reached the sixth and final level, the Eternal Hell, he had already accumulated approximately 9000 UP.

There are also close to 50 prisoners following him; Max concealed them using the stealth spell.

Before entering Eternal Hell, he told the innocent prisoners to wait outside, as there are some figures in Eternal Hell who can use Conqueror Haki.

Entering the Eternal Hell, Max located all the devil fruit users first. After marking each of them, he killed some weak but cruel pirates and left others, as he had some other plans for them.

"Tier 6 spell : Gate" Max then used a mass teleportation spell to take everybody with him safely.

Max and the prisoners then vanished from the 5th level of Impel Down with blinding lights.

Max and others then appeared at Asuka Island. Max then used an altering spell to permanently alter all the prisoners appearances so that they could live without any worry from now on.

The innocent former prisoners then touched their faces and exclaimed, seeing how much they had changed. Max then introduced them to Maya and told her that he had rescued them. He then asked her if she could let them live here.

Maya agreed and received all of the freed prisoners, telling Max that he didn't have to worry because their tribe was short on people, and Max helped them by providing more people to them rather than troubling them.

Max then left the prisoners in her care. The freed prisoners thanked Max as they saw him leaving.

Max nodded and once again started using Jack's compass to go to his next destination, which is Bat Bat fruit phantom species Vampire form. The life-force-stealing ability of vampire fruit is what Max needs; he intends to use it to let old pirates like Shiki regain their youth, and then he will form a pirate group with these great figures.

After 10 days of continuous flight, he finally reached the location where vampire fruit is located.

Entering the cave full of bats, he found the blood-red vampire fruit. Holding the vampire fruit, he muttered, "One down, three more to go.".

After recruiting Nojiko, he received an interesting reward, which is:

[Requirement: vampire fruit, shadow fruit, ghost fruit, soul fruit, undead creation]

The blue print gave him a recipe for a mythical devil fruit, and now he is collecting all of them.

Max said, "Next is shadow and ghost fruit," and set out in the direction Jack's compass had pointed. He is going to fight Moria and Perona for the fruits since Perona ate ghost fruit and Moria ate shadow fruit.
