I suddenly felt as if there were a thousand claws scratching at my skin..

Bit by bit I eventually wake up from my slumber as the increasing pain had apparently turned the switch of my consciousness on

Nevertheless, I tried to open my eyes but I noticed that I currently can't even move my body more or less lift my heavy eyelids..And the pain, however,kept worsening not caring about what I'm personally feeling nor trying to do.

Agh..Seriously now...GIVE ME A BREAK!! IT'S PAINFUL, OKAY!!?

I tried to scream, but even my voice got stuck in my throat before I had the chance to project it out..

What the.. Agh!! What's going on here!!

I feel as if every part of my body was actually being dissected, pulled at and then torn to pieces.

Is this some kind of torture? Did I get caught up in a secret experiment or something?

Agh..

But after a while of my continuous psychological struggling, unanticipatedly, there was no more pain and I could finally move…

Huh?..Seriously?

What was I even struggling for?

I no longer feel anything...are you for real?

That was anticlimactic...

I reflexively open my eyes to check the cause of the horrible pain that I was going through a few second ago

But yet again, what came out of my mou— brain cells was..

Presently,a line of floating ghosts tailing each other and moving around the place is literally right in front of me

As my mind reached such a brilliant conclusion I started to run away whilst thinking about my worst ending scenarios

How can a modern person like me wake up to the sight of ghosts and simply stay still!!!

And why are these ghosts even visible IN THE FIRST PLACE!!

Yep,HD ghosts are a feast to my eyes— AS IF!!!

I don't even know why I'm screaming in my mind to be honest,I know it's useless but I can't help it

Ah, wait a minute, these ghosts look kinda cute, no? They only have a pair of round eyes and the rest of their body looks like a white transparent blanket..typical ghosts huh? Reminds me of those old story books—

As I kept on running, the first ghost that I passed by just continued to idly roam around as if my existence as a whole did not even matter..

Wah!! I almost brushed against its blanke— body!!

And after what seemed like an eternity, I finally managed to pass by the second ghost who stood right behind the first one,

Strange...Am I seeing things now..

I'm obviously seeing GHOSTS!!

Same as Ghost-One..Ghost-Two didn't even react to my presence..

Fuming with a needless anger,I continued to run as if there was no tomorrow, or so I thought

Yes, I was too oblivious to the fact that my running speed had dropped to become worse than that of a turtle's walking speed. I do admit that I certainly thought about it for a fleeting second but I simply rejected it before it managed to root itself in my brain for fear of reaching the threshold of breaking apart.

Well,how should I describe my running speed? It feels as if I'm floating instead of running..

I tried to divert the flow of my outrageous thoughts and conclusions by talking to the ghosts while being fully aware that they can neither hear me nor answer me..

Thus far, these ghosts seem to be harmless thanks to my prior attempts of almost bumping into them and if you calmly think about it, I would've died before I even managed to open my eyes, right?

They're ghosts after all...right?

Now what to do my dear mind? Are you telling me that I need to take a look inside and not outside as my final straw besides this mad and apparently useless run that hasn't been of any help at all..huh?

Indeed,my brain kept on urging me to verify something ever since I reopened my eyes in this place..but since I got completely caught off guard with the appearance of these cu— Ghosts, my one and only thought was to escape as soon as possible..

Was it instinct or cowardice? I wonder..

I believe that there's a thin line that separates these two apart and in my case, the surreal scene pushed me into choosing the easiest way out instead of processing the whole situation calmly..

Well,how can I be so calm in front of ghosts, duh?

At this point,I already stopped running away.

I stretched my arms out of embarrassment as I got lost in my thoughts and assumptions which were contradicting each other,

Well, yeah I tried to do so but..

I couldn't even feel my arms and worst of all,I wound up rotating upside down instead..

That was fast..To be honest,I can't even process what had just happened..I was already trying to decode the reason behind my slow speed..was it the harassment that I woke up to?

Okay me….I have a really bad feeling about this..

First of all,I don't think that I was ever this flexible..And I also don't think that I've worked as an acrobat at any of my part-time jobs...

However, reality decided to skip through my theories and show me through practice..

I'm now looking at a caved-in ceiling with a perfect display of the state of my lower half..

Yep,I was floating mid-air..and notably,this upside down position comes with its own perks. At this specific moment, I have a full view of all of my non-existent limbs.

I feel as if this was the main reason why my initial fear of these ghosts had turned into affection and comfort as time went by and It actually calmed me down…

Although that's all I can see, it seems that my visions are a little bit blurry and unless I squeeze every bit of what I assume to be my cute round eyes,I wouldn't be able to see quite well either way..
