4.The Proposal

I headed to my apartment, with tears all I could think about was get in the bed and cry forever. I reached my apartment, and gave my fingerprint, it wasn't responding. I even tried the password.

What the hell is wrong the world today . Man I was about to have a proper mental breakdown, when the stupid landlady came and told me to leave the appartment as soon as possible . I wanted drag her by her hairs and throw her from the top floor. But I asked kindly, May I know the reason please to which she gave a greedy smile and said " a gentle man bought the whole apartment by giving three times of the market price" . I kindly reminded her that I had paid the rent and it was mine , she said she returned everyone's rent, today and said" I am leaving for a vacation to Maldives. I don't care as this apartment is not mine anymore "

While she was leaving I shouted " I wish you get eaten by a whale but wait how can a whale eat another whale right " .

I was given thirty minutes to pack and get lost .

I would have sued her but I was jobless.

I packed up my stuff and said goodbye to my apartment it was actually the hardest part of today . I had so many memories in there we shared joy and happiness together. What do you mean it is none living.

I booked a cab and headed straight to best friend's house , I rang the bell and when I saw Myla I started crying loudly , she said " Awww my baby its ohk don't cry come on come in "

When I got on, I saw her stupid boyfriend, Fred I hate him for no reason. But actually he is a good person.  Myla bought me a glass of water , wiped my tears and brushed her hand in my messy hairs , I hugged her and told her everything that happened to me " She said it's alright you can stay as long was you  want in my place " with my puppy eyes and a cheeky smile I said thankyou , just then  the door bell rang I thought it was courier or something, but then , Simon entered and said to Fred " Boss said if this girl stays here you will be fired and he will make sure no decent company hires you " .

I saw how all the colours in Fred's face  leave  .When Myla said packup and leave , she wasn't talking to me she was talking to Fred .

I kind of felt guilty I lied to Myla and said " I found an apartment and just came to hang out "

It was hard convincing her but she agreed . Actually she really liked Fred and didn't want them to break up for me . Simon left and Myla looked at Fred and said who is this guy is it Anthony ,  Fred is a employee in "Infinity' and he told us that the guy who just came  was Mr Anthony's Assistant. To which Myla shouted why is this Anthony so rude and Fred told us he is super rude in office and is very cold.And how he just can't tolerate mistakes.  Anthony is a real perfectionist and expects others to be the same. 

I left Myla's place and wondered in the streets hopelessly cause I knew I was being followed and no hotels are gonna take me in .

It was getting dark and the streetlights were shining brightly. Very few people were in the street as  it  was mid winter , so I sat on a bench .

Looking at the stars I said to myself everything is alright,  Everything is gonna be fine .

Why do I always keep crying .

And then it started snowing and it was getting more colder when my mom called " Have you reached your apartment "

I said " yes "

She said " Its cold outside cover your self well, don't get sick "

Controlling my tears I whispered " yes " .

It was really cold and I put my hands in my face to feel the warmth of my hands. when I saw an  umbrella above my head .

Anthony was standing there, he had a little smirk on his face, it was dark yet his face still visible in the street light.it looked so perfect, he gave me a pair of shoes that's when I noticed my feet was bleeding,  my heels broke . I guess my mental pain was so much stronger than the physical ones , that I didn't notice I was hurt .

Anthony with his deep yet attractive voice said " Marry me "

I was shocked " Don't you hate me and wants to kill me so much"

He said " If I kill you, you will die once but it I marry you ,you will die everyday. 

I said " I would rather be a beggar than you wife "

He said " Fine I will make sure your parents are out on the streets by tomorrow, and all your friends will be job less .

I had no other choice but to agree with him .

He gave me his hand which I definitely rejected and stood up on my own .
