The royal man happily rode along in his carriage, he could hear the complaints of the boy he had commanded be captured in the wagon behind him. They had found his horse who the boy called Coconut, she was a fine horse and almost met the standards of the ones who pulled the wagon he was in, impressive!
He felt absolutely infatuated with the boy to the point he barely even thought of the war, although he still thought of how to keep him safe. Eventually the man called for the train to stop and exited his wagon before entering the one with Len. "I figured I should introduce myself, I am King Kral ruler of the kingdom Ozel and the city's surrounding." he states while staring at Len "and what is your name my boy?" Len turns his nose up "I, am Len!" Kral waits.
He stands there for a few minutes staring at Len "is that all? do you have such a fancy horse and no title? your cloak and ring seem quite nice to, so how is it you have no title?" Len grinned "I stole them" Kral made a stupid expression, this boy sure was lucky he was so cute.. who else would admit crime to the king and live?
Kral had gone back to his wagon after a short conversation finding himself too tired of Lens nonsense to stay in that one any longer. Who would be stupid enough to admit crime to the king? He scoffed as he took his helmet off and laid down to sleep.
Len woke up squinting as he looked through what appeared to be bars made of bamboo st the sky that hung thousands upon thousands of stars painted with streaks of red, blue, purple and even the occasional yellow, while a campfire crackled to his right. It seemed they had stopped for the night and he was taken out for some reason.
As Len looked around he noticed the king sitting not far away and so he spoke up "Where are you taking me? I have to follow my map!" He yelled at the king hoping to get his attention. Kral turned and grinned as his long black hair fell over his shoulders, he was a beautiful man "you finally woke up? Well we are heading north to Sagir which is a small village and then we will head north west from there to reach Polla but we won't stay long since they are fairly hostile to any outsiders." he responds in a friendly manner.
Len was furious with the man, he had to follow Damians map! He glared at the man "Let me out!" he stomps and demands as he rattles the bamboo cage. Smiling, the handsome king shook his head "no, you'll be staying with me for awhile. You're quite cute and live in my territory. so I own you." he seemed to think for a second "perhaps you would make a cute maid.. little dress... the.." Len began tuning out what he said after awhile.
Clack clack clack! Wheels crushed dirt and rocks under themselves as they rolled over the rough terrain. They carried the king and Len all the way to Sagir where they finally settled down and ceased their rolling. Townsfolk stared in awe as a line of royal wagons pulled through the middle of their town with a small army of men on horseback following along, as well as one riderless horse who seemed to be trotting along.
Kral set Len up in a small hotel room on the third floor that he locked from the outside leaving Len trapped. kral was gracious enough to leave Len with some books to entertain himself. Immediately he heard Kral leave however he began running around looking for an exit, however when he found none but the window he realised he only had two options.
Cold wind rushed through the village, it was a bright night with the full moon and stars bathing everything in a harsh light. Len stood on the ledge of a building looking down, his pale skin looked even brighter in the light. He swayed back and forth unsteadily as he made his way along the thin rim until he found a support beam. Sweaty hands grasped the beam as Len grasped it with both his legs and hands "please don't end my bloodline" he prayed to whoever listed as he began sliding down. Rough wood still didn't seem enough as his sweaty hands caused him to go a bit faster than he wanted, he let go with one hand to readjust before promptly falling to the ground.
Snap! Sickeningly loud his leg snapped in half, he had landed standing up and caused his leg to bounce backwards breaking his knee in one move. He sat on the ground with his right leg bent the wrong way staring at it intensely, pain started swelling and creeping up his leg as he slammed his face down into the dirt and bit it letting out a muffled scream of agony. Nothing pierced through his skin but the broken tip of both his tibia and femur could be seen rubbing against the inside of it..
Coconut sat out in the stables, she had seen Len doing something stupid and had cringed when she heard that sound. Being such a smart horse though she immediately started trying to figure out how to escape these stables and come help him. Eventually she decided on jumping the gate before running over to him, she still had all of his stuff packed on her back. Len quickly stood on his good leg while the pain became more bearable.. what would Damian do? He let out a breath to calm himself before rummaging through some of the old belongings Damien had for any ideas, but unfortunately had none. He thought back to his village, they farmed alot so alot of people were injured every day.. but never like this! Within a couple minutes he finally remembered when an elderly woman had fallen and broken her arm how they had treated it. so he took a breath and snapped all of the bones back into place and made a makeshift cast out of his old clothes and some thin planks from the nearbye stable.
Len cried as he rode Coconut out of the town full speed, guards chased him with their royal horses barely keeping speed with Coconut as she happily ran. Two hours in the guards lost their pace and began to fall behind until they were out of sight. Len continued to cry, his bones werent supposed to move the way they currently did, scraping against eachother with each step Coconut took.
