I Became a Necromancer Cat

In a medieval world of powerful warriors and wizards, there was a class that was banned as a taboo. While the others needed to train themselves physically, or mentally, there was a class that was only strengthened by death and destruction. Because they were so dangerous, practitioners who used this class were hunted and killed by all magicians and warriors across the continent. But there was one individual who, despite the joint effort of the most powerful magicians of the magic council, managed to survive and continue to practice his own magic to strengthen himself, causing more chaos and destruction across the continent. This individual was known as the most powerful Necromancer the world has ever seen, but because of a terrible conspiracy, he died with great resentment, reincarnating in the body of a small black cat in a country he never heard of in the 21st century. With the knowledge and experience he had to become the most powerful Necromancer in the world, had he managed to get back to the top again now in the body of a cat?

18 - Leag...?

Ana held her hands tightly on the handlebars of her vehicle. The light above was still red. Ataz, now with his head out of the backpack, looked at the situation and could already feel the adrenaline in his body. He looked at Ana and said in his thoughts, 'Come on, speed it up. Come on, girl.' He was excited.

The light finally went green and the two took off at a run. Ana sped up; she was right behind the men who had challenged her. The two of them in front of her turned aside as if it were some kind of joke between themselves. Ana stretched her arms and body further in order to accelerate and Ataz, who was still in the backpack, was almost being crushed by Ana's body, but could not stop looking excited.

Ataz knew he could interfere with magic at any time, but he didn't want to spend his precious mana on the race just to make Ana win.

Ana finally reached them. Now the three were at the same speed, side by side. They looked at the girl, trying to close her out with their two vehicles, forcing her to slow down so as not to cause an accident. Ana then slowed and disappeared between the cars behind them.

The two smiled and were unconcerned. They continued driving through the streets, but now more calmly because they had misled her, mocking the situation.

Ataz, inside Ana's backpack, could only look at her and question her actions because she was not accelerating, because she had given up so easily. Ana started to decelerate more and more, keeping the same speed as the vehicles ahead of her.

The two drivers who had challenged her, accelerated the vehicles causing them to reproduce a gigantic noise and disappeared in the fog that the dawn made in the city.

Ataz was irritated by the situation. He hated losing anything, and giving up was definitely the worst option for him.

She then turned onto another street that was nearby. It was one of those stretched out houses that Ataz had seen. She stopped in front of a large gate, signaling, and the gate opened.

Ataz looked confused. 'Does everyone know how to do magic during your time period? How strange; magic must have become more common among the laymen,' he thought, only with his eyes out of the backpack.

Ana went through a booth and greeted a man inside. She carefully parked the vehicle, took off her helmet, and then opened the bag a little more to see how the cat was doing. Ataz, before she saw it, quickly tucked his head inside the backpack, trying to look like he hadn't seen anything that had happened.

Ana put her hand inside the backpack looking for something. Ataz thought she wanted to caress him, but because he was irritated by the situation, he scratched the girl's hand, causing her to quickly take it out of the backpack.

"I just want my keys! I'll get you out of there. Can you help?" She said, sulking into the suitcase.

She reached in and quickly took the key out of the backpack, before Ataz could scratch her hand again. Ana walked with him into a small room and pressed a few buttons. Ataz watched her, thinking how small Ana's house was that they didn't even both fit comfortably.

The floor began to shake and Ataz, inside the backpack, began to become slightly panicked as he feared that an earthquake had possibly struck. But then the shaking stopped and the doors opened, however, now they lead to a different place than when they had closed on their own previously.

The cat didn't even understand half of how the technology worked. In his day, it would all be classified as witchcraft. It didn't make sense not to be some form of magic.

Ana got out of the elevator and walked towards one of the doors along the hallway. She stopped in front of the door and opened it with the key in her hand. Upon entering the house, Ana fully opened the backpack and leaned it on the floor so that Ataz could leave, while going towards the kitchen to get something to drink.

Ataz slowly came out of the backpack, suspicious of where he had ended up this time. The house was smaller than the other with the family, and all of the rooms were on one floor. There was no ladder of any kind, and apparently, even if he wanted to, he could escape through the windows, since they were all locked with a kind of metal grid.

Ana walked towards Ataz and crouched down to get closer to the pussy. She held out her hand so that he could smell and have confidence in her, but Ataz didn't know what that meant. He thought she wanted him to lick her hand, in awe. The cat was a little irritated and then decided to make the same movement, raising his paw, meaning that she should genuflect herself before his greatness. Ana found the cat's movements cute and held his little paw, as if they were greeting one another.

"I'm Ana, what's your name?" she asked, looking at the little cat. Ataz didn't know how to make his voice speak like a human, nor did he have an identification collar.

"You seem to be trained. I think you already had an owner, right?" she said as she ran her hand through her pockets. "Wait here, I think I left my phone in the backpack," she added.

"Look, I'm going to take a picture of you and post it on my social networks that I found you to see if someone identifies you. We are going to find your owner, ok buddy? And if you don't have anyone show up for you, well, you can stay here with me." Ana went back to Ataz's direction and pointed the device at the cat. A small flash of light came out of the cell, blinding him for a few seconds.

The cat immediately shook his head to return his eyesight as the girl stared at her cell phone. "You look cute in the picture. Now I'm going to make the announcement and we'll just have to wait," she said, sitting on the couch.

Ana then took control of the television and turned it on, wanting to know what was going on in the news. Ataz, meanwhile, decided to take a walk around the house to explore.

In the corridor after the living room, there were two small rooms. He entered the first room. Inside there was a big table and some strange things hanging on the wall, like decorations.

Ataz decided to climb on the table to see if he could find something different. The cat jumped and there was something like a mini television on top. There was also a kind of object with many buttons and on the side, a smaller, rounder object. The cat looked at it, confused. He then, slightly away from the object, lifted his little paw and slapped the buttons, wondering if they were dangerous or something.

It was then that the buttons of that strange device began to glow next to the other small object. They were in a green color and Ataz started to think that Ana could be involved with the magic that the witch was also in. The small monitor in front of the cat started to light up in white and some images were flashing on the screen. They were like trails of light that rotated until they touched, and then a normal screen appeared with some small things written on it.

Ataz stared at the screen in confusion and started to get close to identifying what it would be. "Leag... Leag...". He tried to read, but the brightness of the monitor bothered him a little. It was then that Ana appeared by surprise at the door and turned on the light. "What are you doing?" She said, leaning against the bedroom door, looking at him.

The cat jumped up and made some things drop off the table.

Ana laughed at the scene. "Look, you taught yourself to turn on the computer. In a little while you can start playing with me too," she said as she got close to Ataz.

She reached out and squeezed something under the mini television so it would turn off. "I'm going to get something to eat, I hope you don't mind not eating meat," Ana said with a small singing laugh and patted the cat's head.
