"C'mon Carol, be the bait, be one with the bait, you are the bait," Carol said as she hang upside down from a broken lamp post. It was night time so there were very little people around. Due to its high crime rate, even the mayor found it money draining to fix city infrastructures only for them to be destroyed once again. So, in the long run, this made Gotham look like it was hit by some type of apocalypse due to its delipedated look.

"Should I cover myself with meat?" Carol asked herself as the cold wind made her to dangle back and forth, truly looking like bait. A few more minutes passed before she felt her entire body shiver and she looked behind her. Killer Croc was using the rooftops to stalk her but she could see him just fine.

"I'ld thrive in a horror slasher movie," Carol joked to herself as she turned and landed to her feet.

Killer Croc roared before using his claws to slid down the building, causing even more damage to it before letting go at the third floor and landing in front of her with a crash. His gluttoral growl made her wince as his cold blood hungry eyes measured her up. Carol was intimidated, only those with powerful cheats couldn't feel that way in his presence. He towered over her with arms the size of her thighs, claws the size of her fingers, lustrous back scales that seemed to somehow shine even in the darkness making him feel even more demonic in the darkness.

"Tired of running, grrrr!" Killer Croc growled at her.

"Yep, this seemed to be the better solution," she answered as she cracked her fingers with anticipation.

Killer Croc roared then charged at her on all fours, somehow becoming even more scarier. Carol quickly curbed her fear and charged back, her plan forming in her mind. She had analyses how Killer Croc always attacked and she was confident she would take him on briefly. When they were about six feet apart, her lips formed a smirk as she saw him make the first move.

'He always start with a sweep with his left claw,' she observed as she dodged under the claw before it was even been thrown, making Killer Croc become surprised so much so he did not stop his motion, making her get behind him. Carol turned towards him quickly before shooting webs from both hands onto his both hands and planting her feet to the ground. Killer Croc was shocked to feel he was actually stopped in place making him turn to look at her.

"You are strong for someone so tiny!" he growled as he tried to pull her towards him but he found it impossible.

"Why are you after me?" Carol interrogated but Killer Croc let out a playful growl.

"Sorry, I don't kill and tell," he said before he suddenly became passive, letting her pull him towards her as he turned, his arms wide open for her to fall into them but Carol was even faster. She got hold of one of his arms and with all her strength threw him to the building to her left. Killer Croc roared in indignation before he slammed through the concrete wall and was sent sprawling inside.

Carol gave a small fist pump in the air at her short lived victory before she started running. Killer Croc let out an enraged roar before bursting through the wall and charged after her. He was on all fours, his mouth wide open as he growled after her. Seeing he was not gaining on her, he got hold of a parked bike and threw it towards her, hoping to distract her long enough.

Carol's spider senses flared and she did a back flip, the bike barely passing below her. Before she landed, she shot a string of web, catching the bike with another planting her to the ground then threw it back at Killer Croc who was too late to react. The back slammed onto his head, making him sprawl backwards, moaning in pain.

'I'm faster than he is by a whole lot. While this would have made me become cocky and try fighting him on close quarters, his experience outmatch me by a lot. Attracting Batman towards him will be the best thing and Killer Croc should not be badly battered to make the fight between him and Batman last longer. He should be enraged more, however,' Carol planned as she saw Killer Croc get back to his feet and growl at her.

"You are light on your feet, little girl, grrrr! That just means tearing you apart will be even more rewarding!" Killer Croc said with a sadistic smirk on his broad mouth before charging towards her once again.

'He changed his tempo,' Carol thought as she took to the buildings, running up the wall like it was flat ground. Killer Croc followed, using his claws on his fingers and feet to dig his way after her.

Carol did not forget to throw chunks of cement back at him, hitting his face numerous times, enraging him even more while also slowing him down. Somehow, he missed fighting Batman rather than this slippery little bitch.

Carol was the first to reach the roof and she used this to her advantage. Ripping off an air condition unit from the floor, the threw it at Killer Croc who quickly evaded but almost lost his grip, making him slid some ways down.

"Have you ever played Donkey Kong? No? This will be a crash course so pay attention," Carol said as she ripped off another unit and threw it Killer Croc who evaded with a side jump, making him almost lose his grip once again, sliding down somewhat.

"When I get my claws on you, grrrr!" Killer Croc growled angrily only for webs to slam on his face, blinding him. He roared in annoyance, using one hand to rip them off and then, he felt something impact him from behind, taking his breath away as he broke through the concrete and he found himself inside the building.

"RAAAWRGH!" he roared, officially pissed. Carol stuck her feet to his back, fired two strings of webs to the floor above and lifted both herself and Killer Croc and before she hit the floor, let got of the webs, fired two more to the floor below them and pulled. Killer Croc smashed through the floor and landed on the storey below them as he groaned in pain. Carol slammed her left heel onto the back of his head, sending his about deeper into the concrete as she used it as a launching pad, jumping off of him and continued running.

"YOU JUST MADE ME MAD!" Killer Croc said as he ripped his snout out of the concrete and followed after her on all four. He didn't register that she was somewhat slower than before only the fact that he was gaining on her rapidly. Just as he pounced at her, he felt a blow land on his left side followed by an electric jolt that made him temporarily paralyzed, slamming on the floor helplessly. Without even looking, he knew who it was.

"Killer Croc, stand down, now!" an authoritative gruff voice ordered him. Carol quickly hid her victorious smile as she turned and looked at the Dark Knight of Gotham, Batman in his intimidating self.

"You will have to kill me to make me give up on my prize!" Killer Croc said as he got to his feet, looking at Batman cautiously.

"Get out of here," Batman told Carol and she didn't have to be told twice. She jumped through the hole on the floor and ran to the hole she had made Killer Croc go through.

'I have to be fast, don't know how long he will take to take him down,' Carol thought as she swung towards a bridge connecting mainland to in land. She landed on the bridge before jumping down on an eight wheeler truck's container.

'This is the beginning of Carol Shining's life in DC,' she said with a relaxed smile before trying to lay down only for the backpack she was carrying to remind her of its presence.

"Whoa, I forgot about you," she exclaimed as she willed the organic webs to stop making it stick to her back and she took it off. However, she noticed something that shouldn't be there, a small dark metallic object that would have been ignored if she didn't have an upgrade to her sight.

"That slippery bastard, so he slipped a tracker on me!" she said, very much impressed. Her spider-senses did not even warn her showing just how much Batman was skilled. "Fuck, now I need new clothes. He might have released microbots trackers too!"
