Chapter- 14 Damage God Crystal

Max was astonished to know that the crystal from earlier was something related to the Gods of this world. Now he realized why the pressure from that crystal was so powerful. After reading the last line from the screen he was getting worried about something if the presence of that crystal can damage his soul, then what about the person who will use the crystal? What will happen to him, will he die from that?

Now that he knew what the crystal was and how dangerous it was for him and Lucas, he wanted to inform Lucas and refrain him from using it. He didn't want to befall any kind of danger on Lucas, if he couldn't even save him from this despite knowing the fact how dangerous that crystal was it would be very sad. "I guess that was the reason why the king didn't use this crystal against the beast," Max thought, while he hurriedly climbs the stairs to reach the throne room so he can tell Lucas about it.

"Lucas wait! that crystal from earlier is dangerous for us, that crystal can damage our souls if we use it," Max said while he was worried about the safety of Lucas. Now that everyone in the castle has been dead, everyone that he once knew that maid, those guards, and even the king, who he had thought of as a powerful being when he had first met him. He doesn't want to lose Lucas too; he doesn't want to be alone again like he was in his world.

"You kids sure know how to give a lot of surprise to me, I know this crystal is harmful to its wielder but you don't have to worry it won't harm you. Earlier when I had dropped my blood on the crystal, it had formed a little contract so even if I use this crystal, it will only harm me not anyone else." Lucas said this with a smile on his face like he had accepted the fate that will befall him while using that crystal.

Hearing Lucas's response Max was feeling helpless now, he realized that it was a matter of time before Lucas also leave him. He wanted to cry again but this time he holds back the tears from coming out of his eyes and forced a smile on his face while Lucas was also smiling. But if Lucas knew about the drawbacks of the crystal, then I'm sure the king would have also known this, then why didn't he use it against the beast? From what Max had heard he knew that the king was very kind and a selfless person he wouldn't have hesitated to give his life to save others.

"I should start hunting beast to get Exp from killing them, if I level up faster, I'll get stronger, and also there are some skills that were showing as locked now maybe they will be some powerful skills that can come in handy in a fight," Max thought while heading outside to the field with Lucas. On the field, Donny and Ron were still digging to bury the bodies of dead soldiers.

After seeing that Donny and Ron were still digging Lucas also joined them to help them, Max also wanted to help them but Lucas refused it by saying "No, you should head inside the castle and sleep it is already quite late. We will journey to another place in the morning, so I want you to be fully energized tomorrow morning." Lucas said this to Max and continued the digging.

Max was a bit disappointed that they didn't let him help them, he started walking toward the castle to find a room that wasn't frozen and he could use it for tonight. After looking around the castle for more than 15 minutes he found a room that wasn't frozen. It would have taken more than 15 minutes to find a room if Max hadn't used the skill Dimensional Travel. When the skill was unlocked, he had seen that there was an Exp bar for this skill and decided to use the skill whenever he can to increase the Exp.

He had used this skill while coming back to the castle earlier and now to find a room in the castle. For some reason, he still hadn't told Lucas about this skill and about his system that can do more than get details about items. Max found it fun to use this skill it was an entirely new thing for him. When he gets sucked in the crack and comes out from another crack, it doesn't even take a second in this whole process.

After lying on his bed Max decided to check how much Exp had he earned for this skill. He was hoping that it could level up faster and gain some other perks, while Max couldn't level up himself yet cause' of him being weak. This skill was easy to level up and it doesn't involve any fighting.

After seeing that the Exp bar was filled one-fourth now he was somewhat happy, he knew he could level up this skill in the next two days. If he used this skill continuously like today, after checking the skill now the system was also showing him the quest that it had given to Max earlier. While thinking about the person who had made that beast attack here Max was getting angry.

"I'll find you for sure," Max thought and fall asleep.

Elsewhere in the middle of night Henry was traveling to another kingdom, when he suddenly senses a scary presence enveloping him and vanishes the other second.

"What was that just now?" Henry thought while he can still feel like he would have died if that presence would have lingered there for more time.
