The Truth Behind Georgina's Identity

After an hour's drive, the car stopped in front of an unfamiliar place. There was a gigantic gate, and behind was an enormous mansion with its white and gold theme. Georgina, amidst glancing outside the window—clenched both fists as the gate opened. She doesn't have any idea that the place existed.

"We're here, Ms. Georgina. Madame's waiting inside." The secretary said.

"W-Warren, is he inside?" She asked.

"There's a high possibility that he's inside."

"I see."

She stared at the place for a few seconds before stepping outside. The secretary led the way for her, so she followed him without any commotion. But as she came near the front door, her heart kept beating rapidly. She couldn't identify if the beating got caused by nervousness or rage.

Nevertheless, she strode forward and entered the mansion.

In the spacious living room, Georgina saw her mother sitting on the long sofa while drinking a coffee, crossing both legs.

"Madame, I brought Ms. Georgina as you ordered, and we didn't see anything in her room." The secretary said that caught Coleen's attention.

She put the cup down and stared directly at Georgina. Her calmed face turned to a raging fire as if killing her through their eyes.

"You finally showed your face, brat," Coleen said.

"It seems like you have a lot to say. I came because I feel the same."

Coleen chuckled before she stood and walked in her direction. "Do you think we're playing a kid's game? When are you going to grow up?"

"You should say it to yourself. You've been acting like a child throughout this year. Don't you think it's time to stop?"

"You piece of sh*t!"

Her mother's hand landed on her face before she could react to it. Georgina's eyes widened in surprise and touched the left side of her face that got slapped.

It stings. It's as if Georgina got slapped by a rock.

"What do you think you're doing, Georgina? Are you rebelling now? Do you want to show all the madness you have kept inside?" Coleen snapped, but Georgina remained silent. "Are you having fun playing hide and seek after the chaos you brought on me? The news about you calling off the wedding got spread out like fire. I received nothing but backlash from those elites."

"So, what? Does your status matter more than my well-being?" She said. "Ah, my entire existence doesn't matter to you. In your d*mn annoying eyes, I'm a dust you need to wipe. Did I hit the bull's eye?"

Coleen gritted her teeth as she grabbed the collar of Georgina's shirt—pulling her closer with those enrage eyes. But Georgina let out a mocking laugh, glaring back to her.

"Do you want to hit me again? Go on and do it."

"Are you provoking me? Do you think I couldn't hurt you to death?"

"You've been hurting me in my entire life. You did nothing but hurt me. Do you think I'm afraid? Yes. I'm rebelling. It's my childish revenge. What will you do?" Coleen's hands trembled in anger as she pushed Georgina to the floor.

"You're rebelling? You say you're rebelling. The entire reason you're doing all of this? Do you know what kind of chaos you created? Not only me but Rex's company will get ruined. It's the power the Jung Family had without doing or saying a word. Other elites would follow them. You messed with the wrong person."

Her words resounded in Georgina's ears as the memories of her late father's death came into her mind. She gritted her teeth as she clenched both fists.

"Rex company was an important asset to my company, we had a plan to merge the two companies after the success of our project, but because of your stubbornness, you ruined everything," Coleen added.

Her insensitive words couldn't get processed in Georgina's mind. She stood and slapped her mother with those quivering, widened eyes. Even her hands shuddered as she grabbed the collar of Coleen's dress and did it on the other side.

She was about to slap her again, but two men stopped her hand—pulling her away from Coleen.

"Let go of me. I should ruin that f*cking evil witch's shameless face. Let go of me." Georgina said, shouting while trying to remove those men's grips. But her strength isn't enough to push them away.

"Argh! How dare you slap me twice, you ungrateful brat." Coleen's raging voice reverberates inside and rushes to Georgina, slapping her continuously. "How dare you? How dare you lay a finger on my face."

"Argh!" Georgina winced, receiving the painful slap from her mother.

She used all her strength to forcefully yanked both hands from those men stopping her and succeeded after multiple tries.

"How dare you..."

"F-f*ck. I-I should be the one saying that to you," Coleen's hand stopped mid-air after hearing her words. "How dare you say it's your company? How dare you decide to merge the two companies? Who permits you to do it?"

"What did you say? Did you forget I have the highest shares in the company? It's mine, to begin with." Coleen chuckled.

"Are you making me laugh? There's nothing yours," Georgina said, raising her tone. "You cheated on my father even before Warren got born. You continue cheating on him and using him for your greediness. It's my father's blood, sweat, and tears. It's my father's pride and not to someone like you or the disgusting man you're having an affair with. There's nothing in my father's possession that yours. It all belongs to him."

A tear fell on her eyes, but Coleen gave a mocking laugh. She laughed for a few seconds—holding her stomach as if she said a hilarious truth.

"You're innocence making me laugh, Georgina. I couldn't believe that until now you didn't notice it like your stupid father." She said, wiping the tears falling from her eyes because of laughing.

"What's funny? What the f*cking hell are you talking abou—"

"Simon's not your father. There's no blood of that old man running in yours."

Upon hearing her mother's sudden revelation, Georgina's eyes widened as she stepped back. She wanted to say something, but no words came out. Her eyes continue to quiver, and her lips. She shrugged while tears fell like a waterfall.

"You asked me why I hate you? Since we're on this topic, I might as well say the truth in your face. You aren't Simon's child. You're a child of a molester." Coleen sarcastically said. "Do you f*cking hear me? You're an unwanted child. It's because of you. Because of your d*mn face, I want to ruin your existence. You exactly looked like that man."

"W-what? What are you talking about? Are you saying this because..."

"Why would I lie? You desperately wanted to know why am I doing all of this, right? I pity you for being clueless, so I'm telling you the truth."

"It's not true," Georgina said, shouting as she covered both ears with shuddering hands. "It's not true. I only have one father. You're lying."

"Don't delude yourself, brat. Because you came into my life, I need to get tangled up in a marriage I don't want. It's because you were born. Since that unfaithful day, you ruined everyone's life." Coleen said. "You ruined my life. You ruined Simon's life, and you ruined your brother's life. It's your mere existence that ruined everyone's life."

"No, no, it's not true. You're lying."

"I am not lying. You're a molester child. You're a child of that monster."

"No," Georgina said, raising her voice and shrugging her head.

Coleen gritted her teeth and walked in Georgina's direction. She grabbed both her shoulder—forcing Georgina to face her. She saw the never-ending tears and distress on her face while mumbling the word 'no' in herself. Her grip tightened as tears fell in her eyes too.

"You are a monster like your father. You disgust me."

"No. No. I'm not like that. I'm not someone else child. You're lying to me. I'm not..." She couldn't finish her words and burst out crying as she fell— sitting on the ground. "Argh!"

Silence lingered in the living room. Only Georgina's wail echoed while Coleen watched her breakdown from the truth.

"Argh! It's not true."

"You pitiful child," Coleen said, wiping the tears from her eyes. "You don't have any idea how the adult world works. You're too young to understand a thing. Do you think being a good person will make your life better? You're just deluding yourself from those fantasies. We're all living in a cruel world. If a weak person like you has no power, money, or influence, you're nothing but a sandbag."

"Ugh! N-no..."

"Do you think I'm doing all this because I hate you? No. You're a ghost of my past that keeps haunting me. As long as you're living a normal life, as long as I see that sincere smile on your face, as long as I see many people loving you, the more I want to ruin you."

"T-then, why? Why did you even give birth to a monster child? Why do I need to be born? Did I ever wish to become your child? Never. I never wished to be your child or that molester's child. Did I do anything wrong? What did I do wrong to deserve this kind of fate? I never choose any of this." Georgina said. "You don't know how much I wished to die. How much I wished I was in that coffin instead of my father. If you despised me that much, why do other people need to suffer instead of me?"

"Georgina?!" Both of them looked up to the stairs and saw the shocked face of Warren. "W-what are you saying? Why are you here and crying like that?"
