Pain and Sorrow

"Kill me. This way I will become more miserable..." she blurted out while tears falls down.

"G-Gina." Marga mumble as she saw a blood flowing on the side of her neck.

"Let go of my hand you crazy brat,"

"Are you scared to kill your own daughter? Just fucking end this, can't you?"

"Stop it, Gia!" Giovanni came towards them and snatch the object from them. "What the hell are you doing? Do you really want to die in vain like thi—"

He couldn't finish his words when Georgina falls down, sits on the floor while crying out loud. In front of other people's eyes, they'll saw this as a childish act, but to those who know her, this is an act of unbearable pain and sorrow. Never in her life had she broken down crying in front of many people. A tear falls down to his eyes while looking away. He couldn't even comfort her and just clench his fist. On the opposite side, both Marga and Jin, who saw how she break down, silently cried, too.

"G-Gina?" They all look behind as the unknown voice echo. His voice sounds worried and shock. "Gina, why are you crying?"

Without a word, he rushes over to his sister's side. His eyes widened the moment he noticed the blood on her neck.

"Gina, who did this to you?" He asked, but she didn't answer. Instead, his eyes roam around and look at those people who are here. Until it stuck in her mother's direction. He tightened the grip on his hand, look at her full of anger. "It's you... It's you again."

He stands up, about to confront her, but Giovanni stops him before something happened. Giovanni knows how his sister protects her. Once he caught in between of their problem, then there's no way out.

"Let me go. I know that woman makes Gina cry again. She's evil."

"Stop it Warren, don't waste your time picking a fight with her. Your sister needs someone who comforts her... Do you understand me?"

After hearing those words, he stops resisting and walks back to her sister to comfort it.

"Auntie Sita, drag that old hag outside of this house. Gina won't stop crying as long as she's here and call a doctor." He mandated like a grown old man.

Auntie Sita, who just come after hearing a lot of ruckuses from the backyard, seems puzzled. Not knowing what's going on, but as soon as she saw Coleen, her eyes widened.

"Ma'am, it's time for you to go outside. Please don't make the child uncomfortable in this house anymore."

"Tsk. Don't touch me. I'm about to leave. Besides, this scene sucks." She brush off the hands of Auntie Sita and walk outside together with her bodyguard.

It's already dark when Georgina wakes up. There's a bandage on her neck, but most of all it feels like her body is too heavy. Even though she doesn't have anymore strength to wake up, she still forces herself. She put on a jacket and walk downstairs. In the middle of walking down, the memory from before came into her mind. How Jin look with those bruises and blood, how Giovanni looks scared that something might happen to someone again and the way her mother look down on them. Everything came like a film. She clenches her fist and looks down.

"Gina, where are you going?" She stops for a second when Marga's voice lingers in her ear.

"Somewhere... Away from this shit. I want to be wasted..."

"Gina, stay home,"

"With you? Dream on. I'll rather sleep on the street side than breathe the same air as you."

She continues to walk outside the house without looking back. But luckily she wears a jacket before going out, the weather is cold seems like about to rain before the day ends. A sigh escapes her mouth and walk without a desired place in mind. Without even knowing, she already reach the bus stop. There are many people waiting in the shed talking and laughing together based on their own circle. Later on a bus came, people comes down, and some came up to ride but she just stare nowhere leaning on the corner. She doesn't know when or why, but she's afraid to ride a bus. Every time she tried her head hurts, a terrible scene keep coming inside her mind. Since then, she never rode it.

There's a part of her that seems missing, but many things happened worse than to remember it.

Few minutes passed, until it became half an hour, until an hour and hour. She just sits in the waiting shed. Many people came and rode a bus until it become lesser than before. She didn't notice until then the last bus left. It's already past 12 o'clock in the midnight, the heavy rain is pouring down but it didn't worry her a bit.

In the middle of silence, a man came rushing towards the waiting shed. He put down the guitar case on the bench while tousle his wet air. Both eyes lock on each other for a moment, but his phone rings. Georgina looks away and hugs herself as the wind blows.

"What did you say? The gig got cancelled? I'm already on my way. You should tell me ahead of time." He shouted that to startle her. "Never mind, I'll take care of myself alone."

He ends the call with an annoyed voice. Another silence lingers between the two. The man sits half a meter away from her position.

"Miss?" He broke the silence that made Georgina jolted out.

"H-huh?"

"What are you doing here in this kind of hour? It's dangerous for a woman to walk around alone."

"I-I'm just..."

"Never mind, you shouldn't talk to stranger..." He smiles and looks straight

Few minutes pass by like that, a pure silence, but somehow it made Georgina feel better. It feels like his presence alone comforted her. Now that she thinks of it, rather than those people whom she's close with, strangers make her more comfortable. If she remembers it right, Jaceriel is the same. They met in an awkward situation at the same time she feels terrible that day and now this person, though he never intends to do anything it made her relax a little.

"The rain stops at last," he mumbles before standing up. He carries the guitar case and was about to leave but after a few steps he stop. "It's quarter to one o'clock in the morning. Are you not going home? Don't you have money for a ride?"

Georgina shrugs her head. "I don't want to go home so, it's fine. Hurry and leave before it rains again."

"You're running away from home? Even though you said it's fine, I'm still not comfortable to leave a woman alone in this place." He heaves a sigh and looks straight at her. "If you don't want to go home, then come with me. I have a small studio nearby."

"H-huh?"

"Don't 'huh' me. If something happened to you and the news came later, it will hunt my conscience."

"I don't know you,"

"So am I."

A silence came again. It feels déjà vu. Those thoughts run to Georgina's mind. She still hesitates to come with a man she didn't know, although he doesn't give any threats.

"I'm Henrick Jung. Somehow I dream of becoming a singer, so I spend more time in my studio than in our house. You're not my type. I won't do something unnecessary to you. Can those words works?"

This time, Georgina couldn't hold it back and laugh at what she said. He looks at her with confusion but didn't mind it anymore.

"I'm Georgina Alvarez. I dream of living in peace."

"Peace in this world? You should dream to die then," He smiles, give a sign to her to follow him so, she did.

They walk for a few minutes, enter an alley to another alley until they reach their destination. Georgina looks around, but it's just a small street. There's a small apartment building in front of them. A group of man and woman pass by them, greeted the man she's together with. She follows him inside and walks upstairs. They reach the apartment's rooftop. There's a wooden bench outside and a small room. She looks around to see if there's another room, but it's the only room here.

"It's a bit of a mess inside, so don't get surprised," he said.

He went inside first, before she followed. As soon as they came inside the room, her jaw drop on what she saw. Everything is a mess. It's not a little, but a real mess. There's a crumpled paper on the floor, an empty in can drink on top of the table and clothes everywhere. Besides to those things that catch her attention, there's also a drum, piano and some musical instruments inside. Even without asking, this man is a music lover. He'd rather immense herself to music than to have fun with friends outside.

"I'm sorry about this. I'll clean it up."

"Don't worry, I'll help you."

"You're a guest so,"

"Let me help you at least sort out the trash,"

An awkward smile escapes his mouth before they clean the room.

Two hours pass by like a flash the messy place turns into a normal one. The moment Georgina came out from the bathroom, the front door open and saw Henrick with a plastic bag in his hand.

"Let's eat first. I'll just prepare the noodles. Is cup noodles fine for you?"

"Y-yeah, thanks."

"I'm sorry for cleaning my room, even though you're a guest." He said and went to the kitchen to heat the food he bought in the convenience store.

"I-It's fine."

Georgina sit on the sofa while looking around the area. There're a lot of frames on the wall and it's a signature of another famous artist and band. After almost five minutes, he came back with other foods in his hands.

"Let's eat,"

"Thanks,"

They eat without talking again. In the middle of silence, she realizes how awkward to eat with a stranger, but whenever she turns in his direction, those thoughts fade away. He's careless, either he's with a stranger or not. This man is a naturally friendly person.

"Don't stare at me and eat a lot," she startled when he fed her a pickled radish.

"W-who stares at you?" She protested.

"Who else? Of course it's you."

"Y-you..."

"I told you to eat," he feed her again a pickled radish. It made Georgina frown.

"Stop feeding me, I don't want the taste of it,"

The man laugh and feeds her again. It made her really annoyed, so she gets a seasoned bean sprout and fed it to him. This time his face turn dim. He glares at her that made her flinch. When she's about to apologize, the man laugh.

"Even how tough you act, woman are still woman."

"What's funny about it?"

"It's because you're cute," she left dumbfounded on what he said. "Just kidding."

"Y-you..."
