Meeting a Black

(Klaus POV)

"My name is Morgana. I am curious what brings one of the Blacks this far in the woods."

"Well, I like to go around my families territory once every month to make sure that everything is alright. What about you miss?"

"Oh I was just searching for crafting wood for my enchanting master." I say and show him materials I collected.

He looked intrigued at that "You are an apprentice to a enchanter?"

"Well artifacter would be a better description. But he specialises in enchanting part of it." I explain.

As we started moving towards exit of the forest he asked "So do I know about your master, or something he created?"

"Well I doubt it, we just moved to Britain. Master spend years perfecting his craft by traveling to different lands and exchanging knowledge with different craftsmen. As for his creation, this cane that is following me around is one of his creations." after saying that I cache the cane that was floating next to me and show it to him.

After looking it ower he says "Well it is beautiful, but what does it do?"

"Well it is a magical focus."

"Like a wand?" He asks.

"Yes and no. Wands are more about precision and fast casting, and with wands you can use arithmetic spells. With focus like this cane you have to imagine the spell in your mind and then use the focus to create it and fire it. Like this..."

I concentrated for few seconds and fired a same spell he used to injury the troll. While I don't have affinity for the elements like Lily does, creating a spell through the focuse allows me to bypass this need. It limited to what spell is supposed to do unlike free control ower the elements that she has but elemental spells can still be created this way.

"How did you do that, that spell was created by my father, it took him long time to make it that effective!?" He asked looking at me with wide eyes and holding his wand.

"Oh that, well I learne under an enchanter. I learned to recognise magic." Well this wasn't exactly true, while I can recognise magic it is just on items when I hold them, it is a by-product of how much enchanting work I have done. As for this spell, it became widely known in the future and Lily showed it to me.

"That is incredible, does your master take commission?"

"Yes, well... if he likes you he will make what you need." While meeting Orion was a coincidence, having him come to me to craft something for him and spreading the word if a part of the plan.

I need to spread my name through the country, well not my actual name, but I need to get an opportunity to talk to all heads of houses.

After a while we got outside the forest and there was a black horse waiting there. Orion turned towards me and asked "Do you need me to escort you somewhere my lady?"

"It is nice of you to offer, but there is no need. I have my ways."

He bid me goodbye after asking where he can find my 'master', and then rode off.

After Orion was gone I apparated to my home for time being. Once I was in the house I transformed to my male form, as I changed my clothes changed to fit me, I was wearing a black pants, white shirt and a black cloak ower it.

It took us the longest time to figure out how apparition actually works. But what helped us finally figure it out is when Lily learned to travel through shadows.

Apparition is a lesser version of shadow travel, while shadows travel is fluid, apparition is like flinging your self with a catapult through the shadows.

Both are limited to how far you can travel, but apparition requires that you picture location where you are travelling to almost perfectly, while shadow travel allows one who can use it to travel through the shadows however they want and exist where ever you want.

But apparition can be done by anyone with a focus while for shadow travel you need dark element affinity.

In next few years I met all of the heads of houses and even made some items for them. I had to use my limited shapeshift ability to make my self look older and make my hair look like it is going grey.

While I have shape-shifting ability it is an offshoot of my ability to create a new body, if one I am using is destroyed. So to change my look even a little it takes me almost a day, and in my male form I can only be male while in my female I can only be female, also my forms are mirror images of one another, basically my female form looks like sibling of my male form.

Witch meant that I had Zatanna and Lily under illusions pretend to be my apprentice Morgana when needed.
