Chapter 102: Chamber of Secret (1)

In a flash, another week passed by, and now it was the weekend again.

During this week, Arthur focused his main energy on controlling his surging power.

He had trained and practiced repeatedly in order to get better at controlling the power of his magic.

There will no longer be a scene where Disarming Charm will blow people to pieces.

This gave the illusion to the young wizards that Professor Lockhart had let Professor Snape perform a good job on purpose, going from first defeating him to a tie in order to save Professor Snape's face.

Professor Snape was very angry and could not figure out how this "useless" person had suddenly become so strong.

In the middle of the night, Arthur cast a Disillusionment Charm and quietly made his way to the second-floor girls' bathroom.

It was weird, but luckily this wasn't his first time entering the girls' room, so he knew the way around here.

Today was his lucky day since Myrtle, The ghost who was always here could not be found.

Arthur needed to enter the Chamber of Secrets before Myrtle returned.

Inside the girls' bathroom, the sinks formed a circle.

Arthur approached one of the faucets where a small snake was discreetly hidden in the design.

Arthur used Parseltongue and imitated the snake's accent, "Ssss... Open."

"Click!"

The small snake on the faucet suddenly started moving and slithered into the faucet.

All the sinks trembled, and the large lid above them separated from the sinks.

The lower part of the sinks rotated, with some sinking into the ground while the others scattered, revealing a huge center pipe.

When Arthur looked into the pipe, he noticed that it was smooth and that view below was dark, making it hard to see the surroundings.

He cast himself a Levitation Charm and floated slowly downward.

After that, there was a long underground tunnel that turned into a maze.

Arthur wasn't sure how far he had floated. He hadn't expected Hogwarts to have a huge underground space.

Finally, after ten minutes, Arthur appeared from the pipe and landed on the ground.

It was a circle area with a pool of water and a lot of bones, but Arthur saw that they were all from small animals like mice and toads when he looked more closely.

Arthur thought about it for a while, then cast a Levitation Charm again on himself, floated across the path of white bones, and flew through the only round doorway ahead.

Then, a huge thing came into view.

It was a snake skin that had been shed. It was about thirty feet long and very dry, which means it had been there for a long time.

Arthur didn't bother to pick it up because the shed skin was no longer useful for study, and the magic on it was gone.

He continued forward, passing through one doorway after another, taking numerous twists and turns, until Arthur finally reached the end.

Before him was a ten-meter-tall golden gate with two small snakes that were linked and several ancient magical runes.

Arthur's mouth watered as he looked at the gate and touched it to make sure it was made of gold.

Such a huge golden gate must be worth a lot of fortune.

Arthur looked at the magical runes on the door instead of casting a spell to force the gate open.
