Bowed, Bent, Broken

He observed Qoren's face which was rather pale now, making his smirk deeper further.

"...but as I said before. In front of a dragon, scorpions are but insignificant bugs that we do not even have to look at... to crush."

Baelon looked at the duo below, the little girl was beyond terrified whereas the prince was seething rage with hateful eyes.

A little smirk formed on Baelon's visage.

"However... why would a dragon waste time on bugs?"

Saying that, he began to walk away... far from the duo but in the same hall. He leaned against the wall in a corner where the rays of the sun did not dare to penetrate... and that is when his eyes fluttered open.

The two that were observing Baelon visibly shuddered upon seeing them. They were like jewels glowing in the dark, blood-stained rubies that seemed to appear cursed to the whiff, the horrifying orbs looked like death, plague, and waste.

"What... are you... doing?" Qoren managed to mutter out. However, he did not get an answer in return but rather a loud bang on the hall doors on the opposite side.

He instinctively turned around. A beast-like snarl instantly fell to his ears. His eyes widened as he saw something similar to an evil monstrosity.

A demon dragged its legs across the floor, a pale light skinned nightmare, its arms were wide and its legs were sleek while its back similar to a camel was hunched but attached to a spinal cord that had dug out from the skin connecting to its skull whilst it slithered as if... alive.

Fangs protruded from its mouth, large canines that could possibly crush through Valyrian Steel itself, and along with that... two black eyes, that looked like blood but the darkest one would ever see.

The ears of the monster were sharp and long. The breaths of the beast could be seen by the naked eye.

A low growling voice escaped the monster's jaws.

"b-blood... blood...

-and that is when the monster and the prince made eye contact.

....bbBBlL00OOD!!"

Before Qoren could even blink, he found his head flying in the air as it rolled across the posh marble floor... basking under the Dornish Sun.

His eyes refused to move and his body was far away, too far for his nerves to make contact.

It was a rather peculiar sensation, his head was beyond severed yet he could feel his body... every nerve inside for a moment as they writhed in pain and when his mind came to a realization, he wanted to cry out loud but all he could hear was the sound of blood gushing from his mouth and indent neck.

It was then that he saw the pair of eyes in the darkness that was still staring at him, the blood-red orbs that had not even blinked once.

Qoren wanted to widen his eyes in terror, he wanted to look away but he could not, and until his last dying breath and beyond...his eyes stared at the rubies in the distance... for he could not close them eyes and nor could death.

Meanwhile, the beast ravished upon the body, sucking all the blood in it... leaving it to be a dried-up corpse.

It tilted his head to look at the next target, the little girl beside that had not moved a hairsbreadth but sobbed quietly beside her father's corpse, not daring to peek at the being who was not staring at her.

-however the mind is curious and it moved greedily to take a good look at what had happened, needless to say... similar to a cat, she found herself slew.

The beast in question sucked the blood with great delight, grasping every drop of blood. It reveled in glee as the warm liquid brimming with life passed down its throat, traveling to every part of its body... until the snake throbbing in its head was satiated.

When the brisky eyes finally mushed, they began to turn into a shade of crimson as the coal in the large pupils began to escape the iris as if liquid, this went on until the white in the sclera overlapped with black in it's place.

It's skin melted off and fell onto the floor as if disgusting lumps that quickly evaporated as the monster continued to drink blood... revealing a petite figure

The woman blinked her eyes, confused. She was naked to the bare and her mouth had fangs... that were sucking onto a nape, as a warm liquid touched the end of her guts, filling her with energy.

Suddenly memories barged into her head, she glanced below at the corpse in her arms with fright.

She hugged it tight. Her eyes glowed dark and she wanted to cry... but tears were unable to flow from them as if saying that the guilty do not deserve to cry.

"SISTER!!!" She wailed in agony as her head rocked back and forth, refusing to leave Coryanne's wrinkled cadaver.

By the side, her palm touched another corpse, as she muttered hysterically.

"No... no... no... no, no, nooo... father, please gods no!"

Qoren Martell, the Prince of Dorne was dead.

She hugged both carcasses, as she lamented in grief.

Aside from the sound of her cries, another sound resounded. The sound of luxurious boots striking the ground.

She turned around, her eyes bloodshot as a figure slithered out of the dark. A pair of eyes that were darker than her own but glowed brighter.

"Y-YOU!!"

She found herself gazing at them and as such did the abyss in return, peering into her very self. A sound of cackling laughter boomed through the walls of the Old Palace.

Baelon walked out of the gloom as he held Qoren's head by his hair, walking towards the young princess

Alisansdre stared at Baelon as he kneeled, he placed Qoren's head on the parched neck of his once body.

His eyes turned crescent as they narrowed similar to a dragon's slits, and a kind smile surfaced upon his visage as he looked at Alisandre.

"To obtain great power, great sacrifices are needed. There are not many... who get the opportunity as you have. Hence why... you should rejoice, scorpion... for you have been graced... by a god."

Alisandre touched her father's cheeks. They were cold and his eyes were wide open. She gulped as tears threatened but did not form. She wanted to weep loud but her father's dead eyes made her flinch.

She was scared... yet she closed them with her trembling fingers. Her father's expression was one of terror but now that his eyes were closed, they seemed peaceful.

No... she knew it was a lie. Just closing the eyes did not change the rest of the muscles that were tense.

She was sure that his last moments were nightmarish. All due to herself. She slayed him.

No... her palms clenched. She did not. She did not... she did not.

Her fingers clenched into a fist before loosening. They turned sharp, similar to claws. Alisandre was done crying, weeping in pain.

A Martell does not bow, bend or break. These were her house words, that her father had ingrained into her since she was a child and she disapproved bringing him further shame.

"You think you are a god...?" She spoke. Her head was still down, comforted by the shadows.

Baelon ignored the seventeen-year-old woman. He had a sudden urge to step on Qoren's head, and so he did.

He smiled as he patted Alisansdre's head.

"Hmmm, do I?"

As if the last straw, she lashed out her fingers piercing through his body... or so she thought at first.

Her palm had pierced what seemed like dark purple mist. It did not take long for the haze to unify to form a vampire that lifted Alisandre by her neck.

A bloodcurdling smile painted on it's visage as he glared into her eyes. Baelon spoke as it caressed the girl's hair with her other hand placing them behind her ears.

"To answer your question, scorpion. I do not believe that I am a God. However, if a god does exist in this accursed world... then I am certain that he favours me more."

Baelon's hand grasped Alisandre's neck tighter making the latter choke. He then tossed her outside the window.

*BOOOOM!!!*

A huge crash reverberated as she smashed into rubble. A snarl escaped her mouth as got up instantly and jumped toward Baelon with the extreme speed of a predator, hate brimming in her eyes.

Baelon simply lifted his arms. The lady vampire smashed into an invisible wall, her body was mangled as blood flowed from it as if pulp.

Slowly it regenerated, she glared at Baelon unable to understand why she was levitating and unable to get through to him.

Baelon turned his head at her. It was rather hard to look in the sunlight but he had noticed that the more blood he consumed, the easier it had become.

He twirled his finger, one by one.

*Crack...!*

*Crack... Crack...crack!*

Alisandre's limbs twisted, one by one.

She tried to scream but a mystical force did not even let her do so.

An annoyed expression crept onto Baelon's face. He had blessed the lass with great power yet she was ungrateful.

"The next time you defy me... you will have a fate worse than death."

He lowered his hand as the new vampire fell onto the floor, her body still mangled. Baelon walked toward her before kicking her as she flew into the distance, rolling a few times.

"You killed your father and sister because you were incapable of controlling your desires. The one to blame is not me... but yourself. You murdered them and now you have to live with that. Frankly, speaking you are disgusting. For proud Rhoynars that live with mighty words, the Martells do not even have the power to back them... nor the ability to control your desires. Slaves to them."

Baelon walked closer with each word as he smashed his foot into her face.

"Look at you now. Bent, bowed, broken. Disgusting. You drank from your family to sate your desires and as a result, killed them."

"SISTER!" A voice could be heard as a teenage child rushed toward Alisandre. Baelon sneered. "At least your brother is alive... because I am kind... or else you would have murdered him as well. Ungrateful bitch."

He stomped at her face one last time before letting go. The young Dornish prince glanced at Baelon with hate before glancing at the bodies of his other family members with shock.

Tears flowed from his eyes as he cried. Hugging his sister on the ground that was getting up weakly.

Baelon ignored them. He had seen enough drama for the day. He walked toward the balcony and sat upon the chair Prince Qoren had once used to admire the Dornish landscape.

Baelon would not lie, Dorne was beautiful and the view in front from the particular angle and height was even more.

He let his arm rest against his head as he looked at the scenery. Below the palace garden, was the view of the entire city.

Merchants... that bought horses, bazaars that sold fruits, spices, and yew, men that smuggled wine, women that seduced them all. Caravans riding across the street, artists painting silk beside them, and beggars selling poison, scorpions... medicines.

He watched them all with interest, Dorne was a cultural shock. It was different. It did not smell, the roads were well made and the beggars did not even look hungry or remotely drunk.

A country that was flourishing.

Dorne was exotic and it now...

"...belongs to me."

I was thinking of updating a little later, maybe when WN would reset at Chinese midnight but then I was like... fuck it, my readers are chads who will still give power stones after it resets. Also, I made a teeny mistake... it's not Alisandre but Aliandre from the next chapter onwards I will write Aliandre.
