Chapter 1 (It been seven years..)

The sound of the alarm woke her up,Nah! Not really she was awoke before the alarm went on. Rachel closed her eyes wishing she didn't have to meet him today , Max Saunders , It been seven years since she last saw him but now she had to work for him. She have to be a nanny for his kids when did he even get kids

"Christ, Rachel, It 8:00 and that bloody alarm could blow my ears off Aren't you gonna get off" Lisa her roommate who also think working for Max wasn't a bad idea

" I don't think i am gonna go Lisa "

"C'mon Rachel it all in past besides I don't think he would remember "

"Yeah, he would, but like you said it all in the past now and I'm going there to do my fucking job , what time is it now ?"

"It 10 minutes pass eight so get your ass off that bed"

"It gonna be a long day .

Well she was here standing in Max's large parlour, where the gardener showed her in five minutes ago

" Rachel Brig! I must say you look more skinny than the last time I saw you "

Max Saunders here he was the man she loved all her life ,well not anymore that love ended seven years ago ,she hoped .

" That was seven years ago Max and I do gym "

"Well you should lightening up your weight"

"Are we here to talk about weight or what!"

" Yeah I can't have my children's nanny looking like she's gonna pass out any minute" that it! She was done she knew coming here was a bad idea

" I'm staying, Max, and I'm going to help your sons". If she focused on the purpose of her presence here she would be just fine.she squared her shoulders and stepped around him.

"I've worked at Someday playpus Day-care'

"Trust me ,four year old kicking screamers don't frighten me in the least,and nor does their father. You wanted a seasoned childcare worker ,and that's what you've got "

"What I've got is more trouble than I want' Max muttered on the opinion beneath his breath

Phoebe still heard it and , typically,was goaded into retaliation.

"Don't tell me the famous Max can't balance two small boys and a nanny? Doesn't sound like much of a challenge to me

His mouth tightened

She told herself it served him rights. He asked for it after all.

Besides,she had been having just the slightest bit of trouble finding a new job. When Marie had told her about Max needing help, Rachel had been somewhat out of funds.

Oh, bother Max anyway. This wasn't about him but her and she was not gonna let him ruin it

A giggle had caught her attention then she saw them Max's sons the resemblance was too much so wow he really did get children

"Meet Jake and Josh my sons "

"Awwn they are so adorable , hello I'm Rachel your new nanny"

"Is she gonna make pancakes,we hungry". The twins cried

"Oh yeah! You won't mind if I go to the kitchen and make a big ugly, pancakes,will you, Max?

This question elicited an appalled expression from Max , he knew this was the time he needed to decide if Rachel was gonna work with him oh hell! This wasn't gonna end well for him

"Do you suppose we could give some consideration to my son's at some point? Max glared at her and marvelled that he could want her so badly.his desire to throttle her was so strong as the desire had been earlier to kiss her ! The first was perfectly normal.it happened to him all the time I mean it been seven years since he last saw her

This is Rachel .His sister's untamed and untamable best friend. Normally,the sight of her simply made him want to grind his teeth. He was ,in fact grinding them right now. Well ,just look at her , for heaven's sake!

Wild, coarse-looking hair in every shade from blonde to middle brown crowned her head like an unruly mop.

" We are considering your son's Max

"Not in my reality,we're not '

"Stop being so stubborn Max, you need me "

" I need round the clock, competent childcare " Max informed her in a tone that would have a icicles sprout in scorching desrt. " Not some wraith- Fairy creature with nothing to share but silly monster talk that will probably make my boys cry in the night".

She was Marie's friend, Max had plenty of funds and didn't see the problem,but Rachel was ever Rachel __stuborn, cantankerous and totally unwilling to listen.

"What was Marie thinking,to encourage you to come here now?

" She was thinking smart . something you appear to have lost the ability to do at the moment" Rachel smiled and Max's stomach contacted

He recognized the feeling. He just didn't understand why it was happening to him. This is Rachel the girl he stopped loving years ago . He did not find her desirable. He simply couldn't. Not anymore

" Fine then from today you Rachel Brig is now the nanny of my sons " and nothing more __he hoped.
