Tears of joy

The next morning, the birds were chirping happily, the sun was shining so brightly, in a room with teddy bears everywhere, a purple rug, pink hello kitty bedsheet, a small figure was sprawled on the bed with drool smeared around her mouth area and hair scattered on her face, kaisha slept with no worry whatsoever as she doesn't go to work on Saturdays and Sundays..... A phone on the side table started ringing, but kaisha was a deep sleeper so she didn't hear it ringing, it seemed like the person was not one to give up, because the phone kept ringing.... the noise also made kaisha open get eyes, she opened her eyes a little and silently cursed whoever was calling, then sluggishly she picked up the phone without checking the caller ID..... and then

"KAISHA, I'VE CALLED YOUR PHONE 11 F*CKING TIMES, THIS IS 10:09, I AM GIVING YOU 45 MINUTES TO GET YOUR SH*TS TOGETHER, I DON'T KNOW HOW YOU GONNA DO IT BUT I DON'T CARE, GET YOUR LAZY ASS OUTTA YOUR BED NOW. beep beep beep " the voice of kaisha's best friend (Omari) burst out of the phone and immediately the drowsiness in kaisha's eyes disappeared..... she jumped out of bed, opened her room door and shouted "good morning daddy, good morning Jerry, you both can have breakfast, I'll have mine later, I need to dress up, unless Omari is seriously gonna kill me" after greeting her family, she banged the door and started preparing.

she opened her wardrobe, thought for a while and finally decided on what she could wear... she settled for a baggie crazy jean, a white turtleneck top (body hug), an oversized purple tank top and a Nike sneakers.... after picking her outfit, she went to the bathroom to brush her teeth, take her bath and fix her hair...

30 mins later... she came out with jxt her underwears and her hair in a neat high ponytail, she used a cute pink scrunchie to wrap her hair.. with pink and purple butterfly pins scattered all over her hair and her edges were top notch..... she wore the turtleneck top and tucked it into the jean, then wore the oversized top over it.... after putting eyeliner, mascara and lip gloss on.....

she finally proceeded to the door to, but as soon as she stepped out, the air in the living room, wafted the sweet scent of pancakes into her nostrils and immediately a huge smile flashed across her face....

in the kitchen.... "daddy you made my favorites" Mr Wilhelm turned back and saw his daughter. he gave her a plate containing: pancakes dripping with maple syrup, bacon and fried eggs and a glass of milk by the side...

"Kai, you're looking so pretty, you should dress like this often, instead of the usual hoodie and sweatpants

and yes I made your favorite, I know you haven't had it in a while, I'm sorry I didn't have time for you guys this week" Mr Wilhelm commented while cleaning the kitchen utensils, tho the second statement made him feel guilty, cause he had been busy with his restaurant.

"you didn't tell me you don't like my normal outfits and you don't have to feel guilty, we totally understand, but you shouldn't stress yourself too much" she added a little pout as she stuffed pancakes into her mouth. "by the way, I haven't seen Jerry around" Mr Wilhelm was about to answer her

but...

The doorbell rang and the door opened almost immediately "it was about time" kaisha said with looking back, coz she knew who could barge in like that.

A lady in her early twenties walked in majestically dressed In a white turtleneck top tucked into a black short tight leather skirt with a black thigh high boots and a pink oversized tank top....

Omari was a black American, so she had a brown curly and full hair, her hair was styled in a sleek back curly ponytail.... her light skin glittered, in short, omari was looking peng...

"good morning uncle" Mr Wilhelm passed her a soft smile and a plate, with the same content as kaisha's....

" bestiiiieeeee, I missed you Kai, you didn't even call me or come online to check up on your lonely friend" Omari hugged kaisha and a very cute pout appeared on her pink lips.... kaisha smile and gave her a peck on her cheek

"I've been really busy with work, the stress get worse by the day".... "sorry Kai ".... seeing them together, Mr Wilhelm took a picture of them, he watched both of them grow and it was just so touching seeing them grow as best friends.

After eating, they both left the house after bidding Mr Wilhelm goodbye.....

their first stop for the date was at a cinema, they got tickets for a horror movie, but got chased out after 30 minutes.... unfortunately both of them were scared of horror movies, so they screamed and shrieked, till they were chased out...

"Omari, let's go to an amusement park, it'll be fun... right?"

"uhmmm yeah, why not"

they took a cab to the amusement park, they tried different rides, and took lots of pictures and videos.... basically they lost track of time

"wtf! Kai, it's 4:30pm, let's go eat at a restaurant"... they got on one more ride then walked out of the amusement park with a huge smile on their faces, they looked like Little kids, they skipped happily looking for a cab....

they food a Korean restaurant on Google maps and decided to try it out, the both of them we're big fans of k-pop, they loved their songs, dramas, fashion sense.... they made thousands of plans to go for a vacation in south Korea..

On reaching there, the looked at the menu and just ordered anything that wasn't too expensive..

kaisha ordered soft tofu stew, kimchi, bibimbap and jajangmyeon.... while Omari ordered samgyeopsal, Korean instant noodles and tteokbokki... when the food was served, their mouth hung open and their eyes shined like they just won a lottery

"Kai, we need to document this moment, I feel so emotional right now" Omari said as she used her hands to stop her tears from falling...

kaisha on the other hand was in another land, then all of a sudden, the both of the took their phones, took pictures of the dishes, dropped their phones and immediately started crying..... it was a priceless moment for them, but ppl around looked at them while thinking 'are they alright '..

'uhhhhmmmm... this is weird'

but the two girls didn't care, the ate the food, sharing the meals between themselves..... they savoured the flavors...

eventually, they left the restaurant by 5:45 and left for omari's apartment... she lived alone in a one bedroom apartment..

They changed into comfortable house wear and just talked about how interesting their day was.

and now I'm writing them again..... tbh it was so painful, all my efforts were wasted....

And I was getting any encouragement from you guys, but I'll continue regardless.... because consistency is✨
