DxD 5 – An upset Zella

Even after he devoured the tree, Gunnar tried to devour another, and another. But find out he cannot devoured another one after the third one. That is because even if he can devour things and turned it into power. There is a limit how much he can devour at once. Showing there is a weakness in devouring things.

In fact, there been several times, that Gunner almost fallen asleep, due to being overtired. However, Gunnar managed to beat the tiredness, as he just relaxes, and he leaned on a tree he hasn't devoured. Letting the Abyssal Power within him grow.

'Devouring is no different to eating… even if I can devour about everything. More I devour, slowly it takes to turned into power… it seems I was mistaken, when I felt my strength has grown somewhat, I thought I already devoured everything from the first tree. But the truth is… that 20% of increased in Abyssal Power, is only the third that the tree has inside it. And I was still unknowingly ingesting the other two thirds… but like some idiot… I went ahead and begun to devour two more trees, basically I was overeating myself.'

Gunnar sighed, as he felt his strength increasing more. He felt he is as strong as a 11-year-old kid now. And his Abyssal Power has more than doubled from what it was before.

But he also discovered something, when he digested the second tree, and the third tree. Each tree has given him different amount of increased in his Abyssal Power, and his physical strength.

First tree given him 60% increased of Abyssal Power. But the second tree 40% increased of Abyssal Power. And the other one 30% of increased in his Abyssal Power.

Gunnar has no idea, if it because he was overeating that caused this. Since his body was unable to devoured most of it. Or he actually did devoured most of it. It just that, more his Abyssal Power increases, more it needs. He already has 110% of increased of Abyssal Power. And his strength is not of an adult yet, but it is near that of a teenager.

But one has to remember, Gunnar still 6 years old. It only natural that his physical strength be that much. In fact, if he was an adult, his physical strength might rivals that of a fully trained human. Someone that only step away from becoming a Low-Class being in terms of physical strength alone.

However, it seems Gunnar didn't think of that. And thought of devouring more trees. But advised himself against it.

"I devour more later… it must be nearly breakfast; Miss Wirth is kind… but she is scary when she is mad." Gunnar went with a bitter smile. And got up and headed back to the orphanage.

As Gunnar sneaked his way back inside. he looked at the clock in the living room, showing it is nearly 7am, which makes it is the time to wake up others. Besides Gunnar, there are eight other kids in this orphanage. This building might be big for a normal family to live in.

However, for an orphanage, it is quite small, and not to talk about the cost of feeding these kids. Gunnar only knows that Miss Wirth is well off, due to the money she has left from her dead husband. It is enough to feed everyone here. And there also are donations that comes from the city hall, that also support this orphanage. However, those co-called donations are not enough for nine children, and one old woman to be feed all times.

Lucky enough, Miss Wirth has a lot of connections, and has free vegetables and meat from the marketplace. Especially since in the basement of this orphanage, which Gunnar and Zella find out by chance, that there are several bottles of alcohol being made in there. Which is Miss Wirth's, and this Orphanage's main source of income.

Of course, if Child Care were to find out, they will shut this place down. However, like it was said. Miss Wirth has a lot of connections.

While heading upstairs without anyone noticing. The first thing that Gunnar did, was to change his clothing, but he failed to remember something, that is someone already in the room he shares with the twins. That that was no other than Zella, who for once in a blue moon, happened to wake up earlier than she normally will.

After all, this gal cannot wake up without someone waking her up. Of course, there is a reason why she woke up, and that is because she got woke up earlier by Zell, her twin brother, and Gunnar, who also like a brother to her. Even if they same age, out the three, Gunnar is in fact the oldest among the trio.

That is why, when Gunnar opened the door, his eyes widen seeing a half-naked little girl. Of course, as 6 years old kids. Seeing each other naked is no big deal. However, Gunnar mind is that of a 27-year-old man. As he felt like the police going to come to and take him away!

On the other hand, Zella that still sleepy, turned her head towards Gunnar. At first, she smiled, as she didn't mind if Gunnar sees her naked, since she and Zell, does bath with Gunnar. After all, they only 6 years old kids. However, Zella's dark purple eyes widen, as she looked at the ripped clothing on Gunnar's body.

"Gunnar…?" Zella went, as she felt her heart beating wildly, seeing the wounded (clothes wise) state that Gunnar is in.

"Sorry Zella! I will leave!" Gunnar, who has forgotten he also a kid himself, felt he about to step in the land, that has no return. Since the half-naked Zella, is only has panties on, and vest top on herself.

However, this half-naked girl, that looked blankly at Gunnar, didn't let Gunnar leave the room, as she rushed towards him, and grabbed the bottom area of Gunnar's ruined jumper. Which in turned, made sure it will be nearly impossible to flee from her.

"Don't tell me, it's that asshole Marius!!" Zella went in rage. Knowing how Marius likes to bully Gunnar. After all, not only Gunnar can be mistake as a girl, due to how beautiful and doll-like he is. But because Gunnar snow white skin, does make another think he is weaker than a girl, making him seems like an easy target.

"Marius didn't do anything! And keep it down… Mis Wirth don't like it, remember, when you swear." Gunnar warned, which made Zella cover her mouth, with her small hands. Realising what she said. However, even if she realised what she had said. But that didn't stop her from worrying over Gunnar.

"W-Why is your clothes like this Gunnar…? You are sure it not Marius and his two goons again, right?" Zella asked with worry voice, as she grabbed onto Gunnar himself, who show a smile, seeing how much she cares about him.

"I was playing outside! And I caught them on something… that why they are torn, see?" Gunnar went, showing the rips on his clothes when he was carelessly playing around. Of course, he cannot tell her the truth, it was when he carelessly used Abyssal Power for the first time, and even broken several bones.

As for the real reason why Gunnar's clothing is ripped to begin with. Will be, when he did fall into the ground, just by chance, Gunnar landed in some sharp pointy sticks on the ground. The only reason why Gunnar didn't notice he was stabbed and cut earlier was simple.

It was because pain of his broken leg and ribcage, was more painful than few stabs and cuts down to him. Which overruled the pain he felt from those pointy sticks stabbing and cutting into him. Which then resulted in his jumper being ripped like so.

"Playing… you sure…?" Zella question, as her dark purple eyes, looked right into Gunnar's oceanic blue eyes.

"Y-Yeah I was…!" Gunnar felt panic, as he recalled, unlike Zell, who is smart, and has sharp eyes that can see even the smallest details. Zella on the other hand, as a very good intuition. Which is why Zella who only 6 years old, cannot help to feel something is wrong about with Gunnar. But she also knows, she is not smart like her twin brother, so she cannot pin what's wrong with Gunnar.

But she put those thoughts back to her mind. Then begun to forcedly remove Gunnar's jumper! Which did made Gunnar's heart stop, of course, it stopped for a different reason.

'Why is she undressing me!? Hello police officer, I was not the one got me undress, understand!' Gunnar yelled in his mind. Since he is mentally 27 years old. He cannot help to feel the police might arrive at any moment! But like it was said before, both kids are 6 years old.

"Z-Zella what you're doing!?" Gunnar cannot help to shout that. As he afraid of getting caught any time soon.

"Checking for wounds, what else I am doing…? Wait… why is this part red?" Zella went, as she notices the white t-shirt under the jumper, and on the shirt itself, has a spot of blood there. Of course, Gunnar also shocked to see this as well. Since he thought he gotten rid of all of the blood on his clothing.

"Maybe… it is paint? Yeah, it is paint, I was in the playroom before coming here." Gunnar said, knowing there are tubs of paints, as well reading books, and other toys in the playroom.

"Playroom… wasn't Gunnar outside?" Zella felt confused, didn't he just said he was playing outside? Why did the playroom came out of nowhere? Seeing the confusion on her face, Gunnar knows he has to fix this misunderstanding, before it grows any further.

However, before Gunnar could tell her, he was in the playroom before heading outside to play. The door of their small room opened up. Showing Zell, who came here to wake up Zella, since it is about 7am now. And Miss Wirth already making her way to wake up the others, which Zell himself went to wake up his twin sister.

But the moment he opened the door. His dark purple eyes widen, as he looked at Gunnar, who is topless, and his half-naked sister, who is holding ripped clothing. He just stared at the two of them with confused eyes.

'Sister awakes… but why is she undressing brother Gunnar?' Zell tilted his head, not understanding what's going on.

On the other hand, Gunnar Klinger, who still forgetting about his real age in this second life. looked in horror, between himself, Zella, whose basically only has her panties, vest top on herself. And Zell who is now an eyewitness.

He cannot to curse in his mind.

'Hahaha, a young man half naked with a 6-year-old kid! I am fucked, I am!?" Gunnar cannot help to curse in his mind. Still overlooking the fact, he is still only 6 years old himself. And fear the police is going to get him any time soon.
