Perceiving a slight drop in vigilance from its opponents, the beast's expression twisted in resentment by their understating attitude toward its existence. That being said, it also acknowledged this was an exploitable opening.
As such, the beast fully opened its mouth which housed sharp inhuman teeth, and fired a series of network of fine threads at point-blank range.
Too caught up in the image of victory, Lutsiver and Rodd unable to foresee this development and take the needed evasion. They were tangled in adhesive and impeding substance covered in watery liquid. Finally, the beast's attack landed, its determination bore fruit.
