Chapter 41: order of Merlin awards suppressed by Dumbledore

Penelope looked at Percy that is showing so much affection to Penelope that it looked like acting than reality.

The seeds of doubt planted by Vicky have made her stay vigilant towards Percy all the time.

Instead she felt close to Vicky because of his charm and he is the hero that killed the basilisk.

Most women would like a hero and some rarely like the villain.

But Vicky is both in this situation.

If they understand the things then Vicky is a villain, if they did not understand the things then Vicky is actually a hero.

Coupled with the charm Vicky has no women can resist him.

Harry got a counseling lesson from Dumbledore and Hagrid was released from the prison after finding out that it was Tom riddle that opened the chamber of secrets.

Also the suspicion on Hagrid was completely removed by Vicky but not Dumbledore.

While Dumbledore is trying to take care of Lucius and get back to Hogwarts Vicky has already plaid his cards perfectly and sent letters to Yemaya.

Yemaya sent the letters and evidence to ministry along with the words of Vicky.

So Vicky contributed to the thing the most.

This was also informed to Hagrid before releasing him which made him very moved.

The position of Vicky in his heart has improved by a few levels.

Hagrid is a simple minded person and gaining his trust is more valuable than gaining the trust of Dumbledore.

Vicky currently achieved three things.

First his act of bravery in fighting the basilisk to save someone from a different house,

Second he has achieved something like casting a complete Patronus charm that many wizards unable to do.

Third the books that Vicky wrote has became a hit throughout the world.

Now most wizards are pushing the words that Vicky should be awarded with Order of Merlin award.

As for what class of Order of Merlin award it is they cannot decide.

This is because Vicky has contributed to all three classes mentioned.

First Class: Awarded for "acts of outstanding bravery or distinction" in magic.

It has green ribbon.

Second Class: Awarded for "achievement or endeavor beyond the ordinary."

It has purple ribbon.

Third Class: Awarded to individuals that has made a "contribution to our store of knowledge or entertainment."

It has white ribbon.

Actually Vicky was qualified to all three of them.

He has shown great bravery in fighting basilisk head on and saved a girl that qualifies for the order of Merlin award of the first class.

He was able to cast Patronus charm at such a young are and solved a crime that was unsolved for 50 years which qualified him for the order of Merlin award of the second class.

He has published books about his adventures at Hogwarts giving him very important information about some creatures, spells, bravery, and entertainment.

This qualifies him for order of Merlin award of the third class.

So the wizard society is hyped up about this matter.

Since Rita Skeeter got the help from Vicky and Xenophilius Lovegood that was on Vicky's side gave many articles highlighting these points.

Since Vicky did not belong to Slytherin many people followed and supported Vicky.

But what can they say when the giant like Dumbledore tried to suppressed the entire thing.

The reason Dumbledore gave is that Vicky is still a child and giving him honor now would cause the growth to deviate in the wrong side.

Because of his words the entire thing slumped down.

But the seeds are planted.

All Vicky has to do is to grow them stronger and bigger to finally gain the rewards from them.

This is his plan and he has enough patience to get the fruits of his efforts.

Soon the house cup was about to be announced.

Well in the feast Hermoine should have hugged harry and Ron.

But after recovering, Hermoine and Penelope ran to hug Vicky instead.

The scene was envious to many especially to Weasley brothers that are Ron and Percy.

They did not expect another woman would hug Vicky again when they are jealous and made them.

It was none other than Ginny that is their sister.

Their eyes almost popped out and they cannot help buy grind their teeth.

Well Dumbledore can twist the things outside but not at the school when Vicky is the hero for most of the people.

There is nothing to twist in place of house cup.

With that Ravenclaw won the house cup again.

Most of it was contributed by Vicky and his space increase with the winning.

Total points reached 500 house cup points contributed by him for this year and past year.

Once it reached 1000 house cup points then he would receive an achievement reward.

The exams are canceled.

This made Hermoine sad.

At that time Hagrid arrived and he searched for Vicky.

Vicky was thanked by Hagrid and he felt a little embarrassed to think that he did not trust Vicky as much as he trusted harry's group.

Also their first meeting was started with a little disagreement.

Everyone is happy that Hagrid is returned.

They all know that Vicky has solved the case related to Hagrid and sent the evidence to ministry of magic.

They all are happy.

Well Draco is not happy.

With this that ear is ended.

Before leaving Vicky went to meet professor Flitwick to talk about the inexperience of the students and waned to continue to practice dueling and have more experience.

Flitwick understood Vicky's concerns.

Then Vicky went to meet with professor Snape and told him about his thoughts.

Also Vicky specifically highlighted the words saying they can protect themselves and their loved ones.

Snape looked deeply at Vicky and accepted his words.

Finally he met with professor McGonagall telling her about his idea of safe learning.

Even she can understand that some situations are good to be resolved and students need some combat experience.

Finally Vicky met with Dumbledore again...…..
