Dumbledore leaned forward slightly and regarded Felix with a twinkle in his eyes. "You find yourself in a most unique situation, my boy," he said in his gentle, measured tone. "But fear not, we shall do all we can to assist you in discovering your path."
Felix nodded.
As Felix spoke he smiled in his mind. "I hate talking like this but in the end I should be a scared fourteen years old boy."
It was clear that Felix was faking some of his behavior but he needs do it anyway.
Dumbledore smiled kindly. "That is quite understandable, Felix. You have been thrust into a unknown, after all. But rest assured, we shall work together to help you find your way."
He then leaned back in his chair and steepled his fingers. "Now, let us discuss what we know of your circumstances thus far."
"As I understand it, Felix, you have no home or family, and no clear plans for your future," Dumbledore said, his voice low and measured.
Felix nodded, feeling a twinge of sadness at Dumbledore's words. It was true that he had no ties to this world,
"It is Harry Potter World, it is true that I have no connection here but in the end I had no connection in my past world too."
Dumbledore regarded him with a sympathetic expression. "It is a difficult position to be in, I know. But rest assured, you are not alone."
Felix felt a flicker of hope at Dumbledore's words, and he couldn't help but feel grateful for the old wizard's kindness and compassion. Maybe, just maybe, he could make a life for himself here after all.
Dumbledore looked at Felix and said, "I have an idea, my boy. You should join Hogwarts with the next year's students that will arrive tomorrow. You can stay at the castle and study here. I am sure you will find your place."
Felix's eyes widened in surprise.
"It is good that they are okay to look after me."
"I mean it can not be too bad am I wrong."
Felix thought.
"I can live here Mister Dumbledore ?"
Dumbledore smiled kindly and replied, "Yes, Felix. I believe Hogwarts can offer you a safe haven and a new beginning. You have the potential to be a great wizard and I would be honored to have you as a student here."
"Yeah, It is better to pretend to be kid here at this point."
Felix thought and answered.
"Thank you, sir," he said gratefully. "I would be honored to attend Hogwarts and learn magic."
Dumbledore nodded and said, "Excellent, Felix. You will start your studies tomorrow, along with the rest of the first-year students. I will make sure everything is arranged for your arrival. Now, if you'll excuse me, I will call McGonogall to set you up."
With that, Dumbledore stood up from his desk and walked towards the door. Before he left, he turned to Felix and added, "Welcome to Hogwarts, Felix. I believe you will find your place here."
