Hermione sat down at the Gryffindor table next to Harry and Ron, her nose buried in a book.
"Hey Hermione, What are you reading?" asked Ron, looking over her shoulder.
"It's a book on ancient runes," replied Hermione without looking up. "But that's not what I wanted to talk to you about."
"What is it then?" asked Harry, intrigued.
"I've noticed something strange," said Hermione. "I keep seeing Felix with Professor Flitwick all the time. They seem to be having private lessons."
"Really?" said Ron, looking surprised. "What do you think they're doing?"
"I'm not sure," replied Hermione. "But it must be something important. Felix is always very focused when he's with Flitwick."
Harry looked at Hermione with interest. "Do you think we should ask him about it?"
"I don't know," said Hermione. "It's not really any of our business. But I just thought you should know."
The three of them sat in silence for a moment, each lost in their own thoughts about Felix and his mysterious private lessons with Flitwick.
"Maybe it's because Felix is a Ravenclaw too," Harry said, pondering the situation. "Flitwick probably sees a lot of potential in him and wants to help him succeed."
In the end, Harry was right. It was true that Flitwick was the headmaster of Ravenclaw House; it was only natural for him to teach a good student by himself.
Hermione nodded in agreement. "That's a good point, Harry. And Felix does seem to be very dedicated to his studies. I'm sure he's just trying to learn as much as he can while he's here at Hogwarts."
Ron chimed in, "Well, I hope he's not too busy learning and forgets to have some fun too." "I mean, we're only at Hogwarts once, right?"
Harry reassured Ron, "Don't worry, Ron. I'm sure Felix knows how to balance his studies and his social life. He seems like a smart guy."
Despite Harry complimenting Felix from time to time, he cannot help but feel jealous. He feels that not many people care about him when Felix and himself are in the same room.
It was true that Harry was not a kid who looked for attention all the time, but his age was still there.
There are not many kids at the age of 11 who do not look for attention. Especially when they are told they are special from the moment they have entered the new world and environment.
Hermione teased, "You know, guys, I don't think you're quite on Felix's level when it comes to studying." He's always with Flitwick, learning and practicing new spells.
Ron rolled his eyes and groaned, "Oh, come on, Hermione." "Not everyone wants to spend all their time with their nose in a book."
Harry chuckled and added, "Yeah, but let's give Felix some credit." "He's definitely got a natural talent for magic, and he's working hard to develop it."
Hermione nodded in agreement and said, "Exactly. And it's not just about studying for the sake of it. Felix seems to genuinely enjoy learning and expanding his knowledge. We could all learn something from him."
Ron laughed and teased back, "Well, I don't know about you guys, but I think I'm pretty happy with my level of wizardry." "I'll leave the hard work to Felix."
Harry grinned and replied, "Hey, that's okay, Ron. We all have our own strengths. But let's not underestimate Felix. He's going places."
