Chapter 41 - The Troll In The Bathroom
It was a regular day in Hogwarts; the students were eating in the main hall. The scene and the atmosphere changed quickly as Quirinus Quirrell burst into the main hall, his face as white as a sheet. He gasped for breath, then shouted out that there was a troll on the loose in the castle. Suddenly, chaos erupted in the room as students began to panic and run in all directions.
Harry and Ron quickly looked at each other, both realizing the same thing at once.
As Dumbledore stepped into the main hall, the students fell silent and looked towards him. He surveyed the room, his piercing blue eyes locking onto each student for a moment before speaking.
"Please remain calm, students," he said in a soothing voice. "There has been an incident, but we are taking care of it. I need you all to follow your heads of house back to your common rooms immediately. Do not stray from the group, and do not panic. Everything will be alright."
The teachers sprang into action, quickly gathering the students and ushering them towards their respective houses. The chatter among the students was muted, and they moved in a nervous shuffle, unsure of what was happening.
Harry and Ron were in the crowd, pushing their way through to get to their dormitory. Suddenly, Harry stopped dead in his tracks, his eyes widening in realization.
"Hermione!" he exclaimed. "She's still in the bathroom!"
Ron looked at him in confusion, but Harry quickly explained the situation. Ron's eyes bulged out of his head as he grasped the gravity of the situation.
"We have to go save her," Harry said firmly.
Without hesitation, the two friends broke away from the group and sprinted towards the girls' bathroom on the second floor, hoping they weren't too late.
Without hesitation, Felix followed behind them as they ran towards the girls' bathroom.
He knew that he had to be careful not to be noticed by any teachers or prefects, but he was determined to help his friends in any way he could. As he approached the bathroom, he could hear the sounds of the troll rampaging inside.
Felix cautiously opened the door and saw that Ron and Harry were trying to distract the troll, while Hermione was hiding behind a stall. Felix quickly assessed the situation and came up with a plan to help his friends.
At that time, Harry and Ron noticed Felix too. They wanted to say something, but the troll used a heavy club to crush and sink them. Hermione moved to the side in the last second.
"Crash!" the sink pulverized.
Felix looked at the troll and took a deep breath. He brandished his wand and then whispered.
"Accio Club!"
With his words, the club in the hand of the troll flew to Felix, and Felix dodged right as the club embedded itself in the wall.
"I should not have used Accio," Felix thought.
Ron quickly went to the side of Hermione, and both quickly got up and came back to the side of Felix. They were brave to not leave Felix alone.
Felix then looked at the bewildered troll.
"Uggggggh"
The troll checked his hand, and not having the club he liked made him angry. He looked at the four students and took one step towards them.
