Chapter 5: My Shadows

After my last word, shadows with a hue of blue began to rise from the scattered remains of the Kronans. They looked like the Kronans' original bodies, but were made of shadows. One thing I noticed was that they were all fully covered head to toe in a sort of shadow armor.

'Huh, I guess that means they will be harder to be shattered ' I contemplated.

Along with the in total 650 Shadow Kronans, were the Shadow Marauders. They didn't look like themselves though, they all looked like Shadow Knights with full body armor.

I was a little surprised that I was able to have so many shadows but I suppose that is due to the fact that I don't have a human Physiology, but an Asgardian Physiology. That means my body is a lot stronger than Sung Jin Woo's was when he first made his shadows. I am now officially a one man army and my army will only grow after every battle, after the Chitauri Invasion, the numbers of my army will grow exponentially.

That's not even taking into consideration the battle against Thanos' army and I will also be able to fight Thanos on my own. And I will get to steal his commanders once I beat them. I will also have to travel with the Guardians of the Galaxy if I want to get even more Shadow Soldiers for my army. All in all, the future is bright. In the end, I did burn the bodies and while their bodies may rest, their souls never will. Forever shackled to fight for me until the day I die.

With a simple thought, all of the shadows merged with my shadow. Thinking back on when I first summoned the shadows, I was saddened that I didn't get a system of some sort to gauge their exact strength. But at least I can still figure it out based on their strength before they died and how each soldier fights.

I then walked to where the symbol had been burned in the ground to finally make my way back to Asgard. I knew that Heimdall would have been monitoring the entire battle, so I had some explaining to do and I am also sure that my father would be able to see and sense all the soldiers now taking refuge in my shadow.

My Army of Darkness, My Shadows.

I then looked up into the sky preparing my imminent arrival back on Asgard.

"Heimdall!"

WOOSH

The same multicolored beam of light enveloped me and i travelled through the similarly colored passage until i arrived through the portal at the Bifrost gate.

"It seems you have discovered your divinity. You made the correct choice in not showing your new power to the warriors. I feel they would have seen you as some sort of God of Death, but from what i can tell, your divinity isn't exactly Death, but your ability to summon the souls of the dead is merely an after effect. I am astonished about the fact that you can carry an entire army with you at all times though it is certainly going to make things easier and i am sure there is more you will discover as you grow your power." Heimdall explained.

"Yes, that is exactly what I was thinking when I sent the warriors back ahead of me. And you are correct in being astonished with that facet of my ability it is very powerful. Although, I am more worried about how my father will react, considering Hela being the Goddess of Death." I replied.

At my words, Heimdall's eyes widened in surprise. There was not much he didn't know with his all-seeing eyes, he often knows more than others believe.

"How do you know about Hela?" he questioned cautiously considering the similarities of my power with Hela's own.

"Oh, that? I found out about Hela when I had started studying Illusion magic with my mother. I had been practicing a new type of illusion magic where I would magically remove a wall to see through it. While I was practicing in the throne room, I saw the ceiling." I explained.

"I see, but how did you come to know her name and her origins?" Heimdall asked only slightly lowering his guard.

"That came when i was researching the different realms while I was locked in my mother's illusion magic. I came across a note that Hel was ruled by someone named Hela and then while in the illusion I asked my father about it, and he told me about the story of Hela after much arguing. Due to this happening while in the illusion, father does not know that I know." I explained.

"That is certainly interesting. I imagine you will be having that conversation in reality with your father, so I will not keep you." Heimdall stated.

I nodded and began to ride Sepulchria back to the castle as she had been teleported back with me.

(A Few Minutes later in the Throne Room)

"Father, i have come to report about the battle on Ria." I stated as i walked into the throne room.

"Very Good. You...What?!? Leave us, NOW!!" Odin started to reply then he noticed my shadow and ordered the guards to leave.

Odin released a heavy pressure that brought me to my knees.

"What are those beings in your shadow? Why did you bring an army into my throne room?" Odin questioned, seeming to be thinking as if there was going to be another situation like Hela.

As I was struggling to stand I responded.

"F-father, I-i unlocked my Divinity." I strugglingly explained.

Odin released his pressure and gestured for me to continue. I explained all that had happened on Ria as well as how the Shadows came to be.

Odin nodded in understanding then asked a question that I was surprised about.

"Very well. Then i have another question. How is it, you came to know of Hela?" He asked.
