Tristan Aldrich was, to say the least, a blessed person, he had just entered college on an academic scholarship, he had looks that were close to a celebrity, and he had many people trying to create connections with him. While that would be a dream come true to anyone else, all Tristan ever wanted was for people to leave him alone, he was a loner that had a small god complex so you could imagine what his interactions with others were like. One day he walks out into the street and was almost sent to another world by Truck-Kun but somehow evaded him, however, the next day he awoke and heard a fate-altering sentence... [Congratulations on being one of the lucky 100 to be chosen as a Universal Creator!] p.s the novels where I got my inspiration are as follows, World Keeper, Breath of Creation/RE:Diety, I... am god? and reincarnated as a planet. Hope you like my novel!
Tristan had been looking forward to the day he'd be able to speed up the time of his universe.
Watching the people develop overtime was one of his favorite things to do in all of those god games he used to play.
So, when he heard the figure say he was about to learn how to speed up time, Tristan couldn't help but grin like a kid in a candy shop.
"I knew you would be excited."
"Well, let's jump in then, the first thing you need to do is learn how to control not only your power of creation but also your divinity."
"My divinity?" asked Tristan with a puzzled look
"Yes, divinity, here think of it like this, the power of creation coincides with your divinity."
"These two powers work in tandem like yin and yang."
"As a God of Creation, you can create worlds and stars with your power of creation however, once you utilize divinity as well, you will be able to create galaxies at once, you could create billions of creatures with just a thought."
"In fact, when you were making your first star and planet, you were unconsciously using divinity, to be able to create something on that level, it would cause great strain on a new universal creator, so the first great omniversal existence implemented a system, this system helps new creators such as yourself create their first star and planet."
"You see, the power of creation isn't only special to gods, mortals can utilize it in many different ways, one major example is the demi-god ranked magic called "Creation Magic"
"This magic allows its caster to create very rudimentary things like weapons, armors, constructs, things like that."
"I see, so my divinity is what enables me to be able to use the power of creation to create such grand things, as well as living organisms," said Tristan
"Precisely"
"Divinity or divine power can do a lot more than assist your creation of the universe."
"Over time you will find more and more uses for divinity, however, for right now I will teach you how to use what's called "divine sense."
"First what you need to do is look deep into your very being, internally look into your soul and just observe."
Once Tristan heard the instruction, he did as he was told.
He gazed into his very being, going as far as he could.
Once he reached his soul, Tristan was surprised to see the floating mass of pure energy and power that was his soul.
He observed his soul for a few minutes taking in the sheer beauty of it, that is until he finally noticed it.
Tristan looked even further into his soul, and he finally saw it, his soul was the epitome of balance.
His very soul resembled yin and yang, he saw the two energies swirl around in perfect harmony.
Tristan then isolated the divinity and tried to control it.
He failed to even graze the surface for the first few attempts.
After twenty or so more tries, he finally grabbed ahold of the power and shaped it to his will.
"Good job, now that you have control of your divinity, bring it out of your body and spread it across the world." instructed the figure
As instructed, Tristan moved to a spot where he was hovering over the planet Saxonia.
He then let his divinity flow out from him like a wave of water, the power slowly spread throughout the planet.
After a few moments, images, smells and even sounds started pouring into Tristan's head.
He could see, smell, and even touch everything.
Tristan could hear the birds chirp and the various creatures bustling around.
He could smell the scent of flowers and even fresh honey from an unnaturally large beehive.
But the craziest part of all of this was the fact that he could extend his divinity down to the surface of the planet and he could feel the grass in his hands.
He could feel the coarse dirt and soft yet sharp grass.
He could also feel the breeze of the wind flowing through his very being.
After a few more moments like this, Tristan felt energy wash over him.
This energy was refreshing and felt like it was healing his soul.
Seeing this, the figure spoke up and explained what he had just felt.
"What you just felt was mana."
Noticing Tristan had a confused look on his face, the figure continued.
"While you may think mana is a form of power to control and conjure magic, in reality, it's something far more important.
"Mana is the most basic building block of life, all worlds no matter how advanced have mana."
"Then why doesn't earth?" asked Tristan
"Earth does have mana, it's just an extremely diluted form."
"There is this rare phenomenon where a planet's mana will continuously leak and dissipate until there is only enough to sustain life but there wouldn't be any detectable amounts in the air."
"All of the myths and stories of old on earth are in fact true, to some extent anyway."
"Through the millennia though, the amount of mana on earth slowly disappeared."
"It was around the time of King Arthur when the last usable amount of mana disappeared from the earth forever."
"Fascinating, then, what happens to the planets that lose all usable amounts of mana?" questioned Tristan
"Well, those worlds that lose the ability to use mana, will eventually go on to become technological worlds."
"Like earth, these worlds are ruled by logic and science, and over time, stories and legends of the age of mana will eventually be labeled as myths and fake stories."
"However, there are those few worlds that keep the records of mana's existence and just file it away to the era changing, and every 1 in 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 worlds experience a resurgence in mana."
"How does that happen?" inquired Tristan
"I... don't know, sigh, you would think after all my years of living I would know but I've actually never seen a world have such resurgence, I have only heard stories." said the figure embarrassed
"But anyway, now that you have learned the basics of divinity, it's finally time to learn how to speed up the flow of time on a selected planet."
"What do you mean by "selected planet?" asked Tristan
"Due to you being a new creator, the most you'll be able to manage is speeding up the flow of time for one planet."
"Until you gain more experience and learn more about your power, you won't be able to speed up anything more than just one planet."
"I see, that's kind of a bummer, I have a question," said Tristan
"Go ahead."
"What happens to the planet while it is fast-forwarding, does it affect the solar system and even the galaxy?" asked Tristan
"Ah, good question, when a planet or even a whole galaxy is under an accelerated flow of time, a barrier of sorts will be erected around the planet or galaxy, thus isolating it from the rest of the universe, that is, once you create one."
"I see, well then, let's get this over with," said Tristan
"Perfect, so without further ado, let's begin."
"First, tap into your divinity and let it wash over the planet, but be careful, don't let it soak into the planet, or else you will go through another experience of all-seeing like earlier."
After listening to the first instruction, Tristan tapped into his divinity and controlled it to carefully cover the planet like a blanket.
"Hmm, good, now visualize the flow of time speeding up, visualize the planet spinning and spinning, visualize the birth, life, and death, of all of the creatures of your planet."
A few minutes had passed, and nothing happened.
After an hour or so, a translucent "film" like barrier started to cover the planet.
It started at the core and slowly expanded across the whole planet.
Once the barrier was fully covering the planet, the planet Saxonia, started spinning faster and faster.

.
Only a few hours had passed for Tristan, but on the planet of Saxonia, Millenia after millennia had already come and gone.
In total, 9,000 years have passed in Saxonia.
The once quiet and empty planet was now completely filled with the sounds of beasts and other creatures.
Tristan had originally only wanted 5,000 years to pass, but he got caught up in watching the years go by and observing the creatures evolve and grow due to the influence of the heavy amount of mana in the air.
He had observed something very interesting during the time, an interesting series of events unfolded on the now dubbed "Super Continent of Lupin" which was one of the two supercontinents that he had made.
These events caught Tristan's attention mainly due to the crazy evolution of the wolves on the aforementioned supercontinent.
For the first 1,000 years, the animals and creatures of Saxonia started undergoing a metamorphosis of sorts, this transformation was due to the mana, just like how plants had grown and evolved earlier due to the emergence of mana.
The once normal creatures went on to become bigger, leaner, stronger, and some were even able to start using mana to cast basic spells and enhance their bodies.
On one of the two supercontinents, in the year 2,000 something crazy happened.
The wolves by far covered the most ground of the continent, with a combined territory of 3 times the size of Eurasia (Keep in mind the two supercontinents are both 7 times the size of Eurasia) so over the two millennia, the different packs started evolving in different directions according to climate and other random variables.
The 4 major packs, now clans, were 100,000 in number each, the first clan, dubbed the "Desert Wolf Clan" by Tristan, had of course evolved to fit the hot and dry climate of their home in "The Great Eastern Desert" which was about the size of Russia, Europe, and China combined, these wolves learned how to manipulate the earth and fire element, with a special few being able to mix the two elements to form magma.
The second of the four clans, the "Tempest Wolf Clan" migrated and settled in a very treacherous mountain range called, "The Storming Ridge" this mountainous area was constantly under severe conditions, lightning could strike next to you out of nowhere, gusts of wind totaling 500 miles per hour, could whisk you away or kill you on impact. The wolves who settled here over the years evolved and adapted to these conditions, they became immune to the wind and lightning element, plus, they learned how to control and manipulate the two respective elements. Their territory, however, wasn't all under these extreme conditions, they eventually expanded out. In the year 2,000, they controlled about the same amount of land as Africa.
the third clan was called by Tristan "The Berserker Wolves" these wolves lived in a savanna-type environment. Over the years these wolves evolved and adapted to the mana, opting for larger sizes and greater physical strength as opposed to magical manipulation, these wolves grew to an average size of 3 meters tall and 4 meters long. instead of externally using mana, these wolves use mana as a reinforcement for their bodies. Their territory is about the size of half of Eurasia. While their territory isn't one of the largest, they are still to be feared due to their sheer ruthlessness.
The last but certainly not the least is the fourth clan, simply dubbed as; "The Frost Wolves" these wolves settled in the northern tundra next door to the vast savanna of the berserker wolves, early on these wolves had a hard time adapting but after 1,500 years they finally had massive leas in strength. These wolves became immune to all water and ice-related magic and even learned how to use both forms of magic themselves. Even though they may have started expanding later than the other clans, due to their affinity to the ice element, they quickly kicked out all of the competition, and those left were subjugated under their rule.
In another special event that took place in 2,000 AC (After Creation, this will be used by Tristan in the future as a concrete calendar) the four clan leaders all meet up at a neutral ground and declared the area surrounding it as a neutral land.
However, as I'm sure you noticed earlier, the wolves only make up 3 times Eurasia while the continent is 7 times the size.
The reason for this is simple, they could conquer the vast wilderness that lay south.
Although the wolves ruled the largest combined territory, there were other powerful packs and clans of other beasts out there.
(A hand-drawn map of the Supercontinent of Lupin in 2,000 AC is right here -->)

Coming back to the present, another 7,000 years passed, and the status quo on the supercontinent was for the most part fulfilled.
All across the world of Saxonia, similar events could be seen unfolding.
The planet truly was ruled by the various creatures and beasts that inhabited it.
Later historians of the intelligent races would call this era, "The Age of Beasts"
However, that would all change with the introduction of Tristan's first and original intelligent race.
