The First Planet

Once the figure heard what Tristan just said it couldn't help but also smile.

"I knew I made the right choice in choosing you."

"What do you mean?" asked Tristan

"You see, I'm what is called a Helper, my kind was created by the multiversal creator to help guide new Origin Gods such as yourself."

"And every time a new batch of 100 new creators are chosen, we helpers get to pick which creator we want to help."

"After the helpers have chosen, we then hold a contest, whoever's creator can make a custom sapient race first, will win."

"And what do you win?" asked Tristan curiously

"I'm getting to that."

"For every win, you don't get anything, however, once a helper wins one hundred times, they then get the opportunity to become a universal creator themselves."

"Wouldn't the helper who becomes a creator be just a little op, I mean, you helpers from what I can gather, know all there is to know about how to set up a universe," said Tristan

"While helpers do end up becoming top-of-the-line great creators, it's not as easy as you think it is, you see, it's not the same hundred helpers helping every batch, no, we rotate."

"For example, although I may be on my 99th win and this would be my 100th, I'm also over one million multiverse years old."

"Speaking of, I never asked, just what is a multiverse year?" asked Tristan

"You can think of it as the base time of the multiverse itself, you see, all Origin Gods have the ability to speed up the time-flow of their universe."

"And the only reason these works is because of the Origin realm, or in other words, your own personal dimension that runs on multiverse time."

"Before you ask any more questions that is all I can tell you, for now, that is." winked the figure... somehow

"Fine, one last question, doesn't the criteria of the contest seem too simple?"

"You would think so huh." laughed the figure

"However, for most people, it isn't quite that easy to make a custom race that hasn't been mentioned in their lives before."

"You see, the full criteria are, you need to make a sapient race who is like nothing you have experienced before, whether that's from media, real life, or in some kind of book, the race has to be completely new."

"So basically, it's a creativity contest?" asked Tristan

"Yes."

Tristan sat there for a few minutes thinking before he looked up towards the figure and spoke.

"You're in luck because I think I just thought of a new race I've never seen in any media or anything like it before."

"Oh, do tell." said the figure

"Later, first I need to make my planet, don't I?" smiled Tristan coyly

"Of course."

And with that being said, Tristan opened the creation panel and went to the planet tab to see what kind of pre-made planets there are.

While there were some... interesting planets, none of them caught his eye.

So, giving up, he decided to make a custom world relatively close to what earth was like, boring I know.

To start with, Tristan chose the size of the planet to be roughly the size of Jupiter or in other words, 11 - 12 times the size of the earth.

He then opted for the generic blue water, green grass, combo.

Next, he set the gravity to be about the same as earth.

For the land-to-ocean ratio, Tristan Created 8 continents, 2 of which are supercontinents.

The 2 supercontinents were about 10 times the size of Eurasia each.

The size of the other 6 continents varied from 2 - 6 times the size of Eurasia.

Once he was done with that, Tristan then scattered a few hundred islands around the globe.

It may seem like a small amount for the size of the planet, but Tristan took into account the formation of natural island chains, kind of like Hawaii.

For the final touch, Tristan added mana to the world, doing this would greatly enrich the flora and fauna of the planet.

Coupled with the high concentration of oxygen and other gases, it wouldn't be long before behemoths and titanic magic creatures and beasts roamed the planet.

Since he was done with the template of the planet, he clicked the create button and the knowledge needed for him to form it on his own came rushing into his head.

Along with the info on how to form a planet a video also played out in his head.

At first, Tristan was severely confused, that is until he saw what the metal video played.

A humanoid male was floating around a star that looked to be around 5 times larger than the sun.

He couldn't be called human due to the purple hue of his skin as well as, the tail coming out from his lower waist.

This man could be seen channeling his power of creation as well as, the elements around him.

In a beautiful storm of creation and elements, a ball soon formed in front of the man.

This ball or orb was a splendid purple with green scattered around it.

Tristan watched as the orb of pure energy and elements started to condense until it was the size of a baseball.

Once it was fully condensed and resembled a mini globe, the man then threw it forward and in a flash of light, there stood a planet, where nothing but void once was.

When the video was completed, Tristan then began to start gathering and condense different elements.

He used the elements of earth, fire, water, and wind to create a perfect sphere.

Once the sphere was completed, he then used his power of creation as a sort of glue to hold everything together.

From the knowledge he gained, he learned how to use and control mana that was created from his power, so he then began to create massive amounts of mana and slowly injected the sphere no globe with the power.

As this was all happening, off to the side stood/floated the figure.

In all his time being a helper, he had never seen a new creator be able to create a star much less a planet this quickly.

The record for the fastest star formed was 127 years, however, Tristan absolutely smashed that record by creating one in a few hours, forget a century or even a year, he did it in a matter of hours!

this was unheard of, the only people who could do that were seasoned creators who already had a galaxy or two under their belt.

The record for the fastest planet formed was just over 2,000 years.

The reason it was so much longer compared to the fastest time to form a star, was the fact that a star had fewer variables to include.

Plus, the longest part of creating a planet isn't the gathering of elements or formation of the sphere shape, no, it was actually the time it took to stabilize everything.

Creating a planet was no small feat, naturally, it would take millions to billions of years to form, while the time could be shortened with the power of creation it would still take quite a while.

Knowing this, the figure decided to get cozy and wait to see how long it'll take for Tristan to form his planet.

I mean, sure he formed a star in record-breaking time, but planets are far more complex, plus the size of his planet only works to lengthen the process.

So, after some calculations, the figure came to the conclusion it should take around 3,000 - 5,000 years for him to finish.

Since that was past the record, the figure would consul Trista and tell him he did a good job even though it took longer and- WHAT THE HELL, IS THE PLANET STABILIZING ALREADY!!

In a matter of hours, Tristan was able to get the sphere to start stabilizing and sticking together.

You've got to understand this was some crazy shit, getting to this stage in less than 700 years was crazy in and of itself.

Even though it was crazy, the figure still didn't choose to completely freak out as there should still be other millennia or so of time for the stabilizing process to finish.

And so, we wait.

.

.

.

5 days later...

Floating next to a giant azure blue star was two figures.

One was a man, he was 195 cm tall, had broad shoulders, he was well built with muscles that looked streamlined for any occasion, he had wavy reddish-brown hair which was parted down the middle and reached his neck, his eyes were a beautiful steel grey, this man was in all intents and purposes perfect looking.

In front of the man was a globe, this globe had blue water all across the surface with landmasses dotting the surface.

Behind the man stood a humanoid male figure, this figure was pretty much just a silhouette, his whole body seemed to be made of stars.

Plastered on the figure's "face" was a look of complete and utter shock.

.

.

.

2 days later

The figure still floated there with a look of shock.

That is until the man and globe started glowing.

Tristan had finally finished stabilizing his planet.

It had only taken him a week to complete so he was happy the wait was finally over.

He then threw the basketball-sized planet forward into orbit just like how the man in the video did.

By now the figure had already woken out of his stupor and watched as the planet locked itself into orbit and enlarged at a rapid rate.

The Planet finally stopped enlarging once it had reached a little over 50,000 miles in radius.

Although the figure wanted to tell Tristan what he had just done was crazy beyond compare, he opted not, as to avoid inflating Tristan's ego.

"C-c-congratulations on forming your f-first planet." said the figure with a strained smile

"Thanks... hey, are you okay?"

"Yep, just peachy."

As they were talking a huge explosion occurred on the planet and a wave of pure mana swept across the planet's surface.

When Tritan had created the planet, he had already made it with grass and other types of flora, so this wave of mana washed over all of the plants in turn making them into magic plants.

Trees grew tens of meters taller, grass grew lusher, and looked greener, some lucky plants were even able to become magic herbs that upon ingestion would help any creature improve their strength by leaps and bounds.

"Cooool." said Tristan

"Cool indeed." spoke the figure

"Now that the planet has been formed, what next?" asked Tristan

"Well, that is completely up to you."

"You could create the animals that will inhabit this world alongside your first sapient race, or you could create the animals first and let time run for a while before you place any kind of sapient race on the planet."

"But first things first, you need to name the planet."

"Hmm."

As Tristan floated there thinking about names, the figure couldn't help but marvel at the planet Tristan had made.

Although he had seen planets made by the multiverse creator himself, this planet was still beautiful, nonetheless.

Another few minutes went by until Tristan had finally come up with a name.

"As a nod to my Saxon ancestors, I'm going to name this planet, Saxonia."

"Good name." nodded the figure

"I've given some thought to what you said earlier as well."

"Oh, and what would that be?" asked the figure

"I'm going to opt for creating the animals and creatures of the planet first, then once I'm satisfied, I'll create my first sapient race."

"Good choice." said the figure

"Now, how do I go about this, I'm sure it would take way too long to put every animal I want to create in the template."

"Haha, yes it would, the way you go about creating the animals, is first you need to just make the template for a random animal, and you'll be given the knowledge needed to create all kinds of life with your powers."

"Of course, you won't be able to make any kind of living being, only basic animals, for now, that is, until you put in the template for a magical creature then you'll learn how to make those."

"Ok, I guess I'll input the template for a wolf since wolves and dogs are my favorites," said Tristan

"That'll work." said the figure

Tristan input the template for a basic grey wolf then clicked create and the knowledge on how to create basic animals and creatures flooded into his head.

Surprisingly, it was quite easy to make basic animals, all he had to do was use the four base elements and his power of creation and mold the animal and viola, the animal complete.

Tristan then spent the next day going around the different continents and islands placing creating pockets of animals and spreading them out.

"Now that that's finished, I think it's high time you learn how to speed up the flow of time in your universe."
