Chapter 37: The Earth Land

Vaness and Elsa use their refresh card the moment they accept the mission. As for Mio and Tomeo doesn't need it because they are a newcomer that has not accepted a mission at all.

In the next six hours, they prepared everything for this mission. Although, there is not much they can prepare physically. But mentally they must be fully prepared, after all, they are soon will go to an unfamiliar place full of danger and opportunity.

Vaness, Mio, Tomoe, and Elsa gathered in the lobby while looking at the time which was 30 minutes from zero.

"Okay, are you ready, Mio, Tomoe, Elsa?", Vaness said to the three of them.

" Yes, Vaness (Master)", three of them replied at the same time.

They click Yes on the screen at the same time then their bodies are surrounded by the light as they got teleported to the blank space like before.

Vaness, Elsa, Tomoe, and Mio got appeared in the blank space but there are not only there but also the other 16 people.

10 of them already gathered and they look like want to work together on this mission, the other 6 also gathered that look like come from the same guild as can be seen by the same ring on their body.

One in 10 people realises there are another group of people coming into this space and just as he about wanted to invite them. His steps got stopped by his teammate.

"Wait, Terry looks at their body, they have the same tattoo and look like they come from the same guild. So forget it you didn't have to bother to invite them because if they want to they will come to us to join.", said the woman of his teammate.

"Hmm, I think you are right forget it.", the man who was just about to invite Vaness and the others, comes back to his position as he aborts his thoughts to invite them.

Meanwhile, the other 6 people also gathered by themselves. They are also realised Vaness and the others come into this blank space but they ignore it.

Vaness and the others look at their surrounding, and they also see these people who split the group into two but they also didn't care about them.

Tomoe and Mio who for the first time come here looking at the surrounding in astonishment.

" This place is the same as my space before I make a contract with Vaness. But this place is more powerful than mine.", Tomoe said quietly while looking surrounding.

"I think this place is very beautiful.", Mio said as she looked at the shiny black blank space which is her favourite colour.

Vaness and Elsa also smiled looking at them who enjoy the view around this blank space. Then they also join them to enjoy the view.

Just like that, they did a little chat about the mission while enjoying the view as they waited until the countdown to zero.

Somewhere in Ishgar, Earth Land

The lights appeared in the middle of the forest as four figures are revealed after the light goes off.

Vaness and the others open their eyes slowly, after, they open them they immediately look at the surrounding carefully. Just in case they got teleported to somewhere dangerous.

After looking around for a while and determined that there is no danger around. Vaness and the others let out a sigh of relief.

" Looks like, we appeared in the middle of the forest this time.", Vaness said after confirming there is no danger around them.

"Yeah, this forest is so green and full of magic.", Elsa said after feeling and looking at her surrounding.

" That's right this place or world may be abundant with magic. Not worse than my world.", Tomoe also agrees with what Elsa said.

"Mmmhmm, this magic is very pure that is so easy to absorb and transform. If I guess right in this world many people can use magic easily.", Mio also feels the magic surrounding them and satisfy with it.

"Alright, wait here first I will fly to look at the overall situation around.", Vaness said as he start flying to the sky.

Vaness floats in the sky and looks at the surrounding, at first he is looking at the forest from above and found nothing suspicious and then he looks in front of him, there is only a shadow.

" There is nothing but birds in the sky," after glancing at it and there is nothing wrong with this sky. Vaness coming down to the ground again.

But just as he was about to come down, he found the black shadow is getting bigger and bigger. "Damn, this is not a bird."

Vaness didn't hesitate to lift his skill as he falls heavily to the ground.

Fortunately, he has a strong body so he didn't get hurt at all.

"Everyone, be prepared for battle.", Vaness shouted to Mio, Tomoe, and Elsa who got stunned and worriedly because Vaness suddenly fall from the sky.

But when they are hearing, Vaness shouting, they know there is something wrong and that something coming toward them.

Elsa takes out her staff and accumulated magic on it, Tomoe takes to put her katana prepared to attack, and Mio also already put her gloves on.

Meanwhile, Vaness already changed to his armour and take out his shield and Dark Moon. Prepare for any coming attack.

Big shadows fall from the sky exactly in front of them.

"Roarrr!!!"

The creature with a white scale on its body, a terrifying aura, big red feathered wings on its back, sharp teeth, and fur on its back.

"Dragon!?" x 3, Mio, Tomoe, and Elsa shouted in surprise seeing this dragon appear in front of them. Especially, Tomoe because she feels this dragon is not normal, at least a strong dragon among dragons.

Meanwhile, Vaness also surprised but he is can only scold in his heart, 'Damn, not until 5 minutes we come to this world but we already got spotted by such a strong dragon. I don't know if it is lucky or bad luck.'
