804, Sunday's Secret Realm (Part 5)

The insectoid army's old lair, "Insect Nest," wasn't built above ground but hidden underground.

Before the insectoid started the war, they had dug out such a massive nest underground, easy to defend but hard to attack.

To avoid smoke fumigation and water flooding, countless tunnels, at least a thousand, surrounded the nest, densely packed like a honeycomb.

Of course, not all these tunnels lead directly to the interior of the nest.

Apart from a few main pathways for troop movement and secondary channels for supply transport, many tunnels were actually traps or dead ends.

If the Blue Man People pushed in and divided their forces into these tunnels, they would have to face the awkward situation of entering a dead end or stepping into a trap filled with poisonous gas, which was very troublesome.
