A Nuisance

Elizabeth stood there in shock. "Boss you said what?.

James sighed deeply, feeling an upcoming headache. She hasn't even started yet and she was calling him boss. Just what has he gotten himself into? But he could still remember the call yesterday where Mrs Lilian begged him to employ someone to help him out, not because he was incompetent but because she knew he was still suffering emotionally and she needed him to not exhaust himself.

Elizabeth saw that he wasn't in the mood to answer her so she quickly asked something else. "Should I start tomorrow?"

James frowned at her, he should be the one telling her when and where to start not the other way round. "Yes you can start tomorrow."

"Oh thank you so much boss," she said, bowing slightly before she rushed out of his office.

James was stupefied by her actions. Why did she look excited to start working there when there were lots of huge companies out there that would gladly employ her due to her credentials.
