Like Nothing Ever Happened

"Oh boss, she claimed to be hungry just a few minutes past ten." He said, looking displeased.

He wanted his boss to see that the girl in question was a nuisance. He felt like she was just there to waste their time and hated that feeling. His boss was always punctual so he knew he'd take it seriously.

They had serious issues on ground to handle but she could only think of her stomach. Of course it wasn't a bad thing but it was just an hour since she came and she was already displaying her character.

James frowned. That was really not what he expected. Was she that lazy and she couldn't even give a good first impression on her first day?.

He wanted to believe that she would take this job seriously. He resented people who do whatever they want because they felt they could. He really felt disappointed because he expected not much but at least something promising from her, not just her foodie behavior. He knew she was a foodie right from the moment she called to thank him.
