Gilgamesh Untold

As time passes, and Ages come and go, history holds firm as the reminder of humanity's story. Stories are passed down, immortalized, and never forgotten. One such story has stood the test of time, and is considered the very first, oldest story ever told... 'Though this history shall soon be forgotten, the Epic of Gilgamesh shall live on forever in my memory, as a sign of who I once was and the sacrifices I had to make.' 'I have learned many things, and have seen even more. I have lived fulfilling lives and accomplished great things. That story has long ended, but my story still remains unwritten!' 'So now, I write my own story! A story of the things unknown to all! The story of Gilgamesh, untold!' *Inspired by the Ancient Mesopotamian 'Epic of Gilgamesh,' and Based off of the work of iKissTurtles (Who I am working with to publish this fantastic take on the age-old character).*

She's Mine

Gilgamesh was struck dumb. Never would he have imagined that this scenario would be possible.

Wyg and Law were Domain Lords? Hadn't they been with him in the sect, cultivating and living their lives?

"I know what you're thinking," Law grinned.

"We sealed our power and pretended to cultivate, when all we were doing was slowly weakening the seals."

Gilgamesh nodded.

"Our first meeting took place because I wanted to see what kind of trouble you could stir up. Once you became a cultivator, you did not disappoint."

"Defiance was against interacting with you without a reason, but at the end of the day his inherent nature drives him to feel attracted to the very heavens, so he could not resist you for long."

Wyg chuckled as he blushed, and he suddenly thought back to Gilgamesh's tribulations.

"Your tribulation was simply too beautiful. I could no longer try to act prideful or arrogant."

"All I wanted was to stare at your tribulations."

While they were explaining¡ that, Andromeda had broken out into a coldsweat. Her hands, gripping the mighty spear were trembling, and as more time passed she became even more terrified.

"So... are you two going to kill me...?" She managed to eke out a question.

Wyg and Law glanced back at her and frowned.

"Why the hell would we do that? Do we look dumb?" Wyg spat.

"Gilgamesh would stab us in the face if we tried to help him without his permission." Law shook his head, seeming a bit helpless.

Gilgamesh chuckled, and as he did so he moved forward.

Andromeda was within arm's reach. Once their eyes met, a war of wills instantly commenced.

"You two just do me a favor and keep this place safe. I don't care about the rest of the world."

Suddenly, his eyes' glow intensified, and the soft golden glow of his hair returned. He held Samael in both hands as true energy surged and his aura spilled out unendingly.

"As for her," Gilgamesh's sword was instantly coated in true energy.

"She's mine."

He moved, and the short distance between them distorted as their weapons struck each other.

Samael was originally a creation of the Old Power, meaning that it was of an extremely high quality when compared to other weapons within the Domain of Light.

However, with Gilgamesh's true energy now constantly surging through it, it was slowly being pushed to higher and higher levels.

"That black-bladed sword is something else," Wyg mused.

"I can't even guess at what rank of spirit tool it is. Where could he have acquired such a thing?" Law stroked his chin in thought.

"The energy around it feels slightly familiar as well."

Suddenly, Wyg yawned and stretched his arms lazily. "Well, do you wanna do the honors?"

"Be my guest," Law gestured.

Wyg nodded and shut his eyes, channeling some true energy before casting a sealing-type spell technique.

"Heavenly Cock-blocking Seal!"

Immediately, the space surrounding Gilgamesh and Andromeda was sealed off by a large dome. Within that dome, the isolated portion of the world came under the effect of Wyg's true energy.

Being under the power of a Domain Lord, that space was forcibly pushed to a higher level, tenporarily becoming comparable to the stability of space in a much higher realm.

Andromeda was helpless to stop it with her universal-level power. Not even her Dao-Law could reverse something that a Domain Lord had done, even if it was done in her universe.

Now, it was just her and Gilgamesh, clashing with weapons and pouring out all their power to kill one another.

"Cosmic Spear, Trillion Strikes!" Andromeda's fierce battle intent erupted, and her spear shook the earth within the dome.

In a split second, she sent out spear thrusts, one after the other, creating billions of afterimages in the blink of an eye.

Each of those spear images barrelled toward Gilgamesh, stacked on top of each other as their power superimposed, aimed at every part of his body.

"Formidable technique," He smirked.

Samael exploded with power again as Gilgamesh swung it multiple times in quick succession.

A dozen arcs of light, each equal in destructive power, tore through the upgraded space, still leaving a massive scar in it that exposed the void beneath the spatial surface.

Wyg's green eyes widened, "Incredible! That space should have already been pushed to the extreme for this dimension."

"Gilgamesh can already tear open space within the Domain of Light. And he's still at the Condensation stage."

Him and Law both sighed with emotion. Their respect and awe in the face of Gilgamesh could not possibly get any higher.

As those arcs of light collided with the trillion spear images, countless explosions rocked the world.

Andromeda yelped as she came under the might of the subsequent shockwaves, and she spat out a mouthful of blood as she was sent flying.

Once her body crashed into the dome Wyg had created, she coughed up some more blood before slowly falling to her feet.

Down on one knee, she gasped for breath as her eyes subconsciously focused on Gilgamesh's sword. Something about that arc attack seemed familiar to her.

'I need to think of a name for that attack,' Gilgamesh whistled, satisfied as he held Samael out at a low angle.

He started walking forward, and Andromeda jumped in fright. She had been trying to recall what the energy reminded her of, and almost spaced out.

"I think I'll call that attack... The Anti-Divinity Slash! I can't wait to hear what those Divine Ones have to say when I kill them with it."

Gilgamesh laughed crazily, and Andromeda gasped.

That's it. That power coming from the arc of light was actually extremely similar to the power of the Divine Ones.

However, at the same time, it was drastically different. That was because of the addition of Gilgamesh's inherent nature.

The miniature Divine Ones in Gilgamesh's sea of energy had already begun morphing into something different.

In fact, calling them the 'Divine Ones' was actually an insult to their current selves!

"Gilgamesh, please listen. If you kill me now, you will immediately render the Universal Dao-Seal an ownerless object, and the veil between this dimension and the Domain of Light will open."

Gilgamesh expression did not change; his killing intent did not lessen. He kept coming toward her.

"Don't you understand!? The Light will be forced to descend to this dimension from its Domain in order to reclaim the Dao-Seal."

"Once it does, do you think it will spare you!?" Andromeda was getting desperate now, and she could only try to plead for her life.

Unfortunately for Andromeda, her words were falling on Gilgamesh's deaf ears.

"You may be able to survive, but think of the girl! Think of Little Feather! I almost succeeded in killing her, so do you think that The Light will fail!?"

Andromeda was so distraught and terrified that she did not even realize what she had just done.

Gilgamesh's wrath combusted, and his body vanished as he moved, leaving a trail of shattered space in his wake.

She... Did she just brag about almost killing Little Feather?

My Little Feather!?

Gilgamesh could not possibly let it stand!

Putting his sword away, Gilgamesh's true energy filled his body as his bare hands emerged from the void like two ghosts.

His body had moved so rapidly that it had become one the void; only when he slowed down to grab Andromeda did he become visible again.

"No! Stay away!"

Not holding even a scrap of power back, Gilgamesh's hand grabbed Andromeda's hair, then his eyes darted to the right where he saw the tip of her spear piercing toward his head.

With his free hand, he caught the spear tip as it buried itself in his palm, paying no mind to the spilt blood.

His body was already as sturdy as the universe- at the very least. If it wasn't, Andromeda's spear would have eradicated his entire arm.

After all, she still commanded Universe-level power.

Realizing that she could not move her spear, Andromeda attempted to let go of it and hit Gilgamesh with a punch to the gut.

Instead, Gilgamesh hoisted her up by her hair and sent his forehead crashing into her face in a vicious headbutt.

As she was recovering from the shock and pain of having her nose broken, Gilgamesh let go of her hair, pulled the spear out of his palm, and grabbed her by the neck-- all in less than a blink of an eye!

Holding her spear in his bleeding hand, Gilgamesh forced the power of his inherent nature into it, and it shrunk to the size of a dagger.

Why? How?

Because he wanted it to!

"Don't! Don't kill me, please- AAHH!!!"

Andromeda shrieked as she was stabbed in the shoulder by a dagger image; Gilgamesh had stabbed out multiple times while she was begging for her life.

Replicating the attack she had used, though on a smaller scale, he created several dagger images that sunk into her body and nailed her to the wall of the dome.

"Please- GAAHHH!!! NO!!! WAHH!!!"

Andromeda's body bent and contorted as she tried to free herself from the daggers holding her in place.

Her energy spiked as her body was bathed in light, but Gilgamesh was not having it. He aimed a vicious knee into her stomach, and stood there as she vomited blood onto him.

He reveled in the warmth, and a satisfied, evil smirk appeared on his face.

"Think of-"

"Stop talking," Gilgamesh punched her in the face, knocking teeth loose.

"....Little Feath-"

"Be silent! Do not say her name!" Two more punches struck either side of her face, and Andromeda suddenly hand just a few teeth left.

Her face was swollen, and her right eye bulged out of her head, looking like it was about to pop.

Gilgamesh stared death at her, and his smirk suddenly faded away.

"All you had to do was walk away. If you had done that, perhaps you would have bought yourself a day or two."

"Instead, you chose to place your filthy hands on that little girl."

"My little girl."

Raising his head and looking down his nose at Andromeda's horrible personage, Gilgamesh spat a glob of saliva onto her.

"I'm tired of this. Just die already."

The spear-turned-dagger was then used to slit her throat, and Gilgamesh stood there and watched the life leave her body.

In light of Andromeda's ruthless murder, all were stunned.

The Sovereign of the Universe...

Had died.
