Gilgamesh Untold

As time passes, and Ages come and go, history holds firm as the reminder of humanity's story. Stories are passed down, immortalized, and never forgotten. One such story has stood the test of time, and is considered the very first, oldest story ever told... 'Though this history shall soon be forgotten, the Epic of Gilgamesh shall live on forever in my memory, as a sign of who I once was and the sacrifices I had to make.' 'I have learned many things, and have seen even more. I have lived fulfilling lives and accomplished great things. That story has long ended, but my story still remains unwritten!' 'So now, I write my own story! A story of the things unknown to all! The story of Gilgamesh, untold!' *Inspired by the Ancient Mesopotamian 'Epic of Gilgamesh,' and Based off of the work of iKissTurtles (Who I am working with to publish this fantastic take on the age-old character).*

"What will you do, Gilgamesh?"

Acting smug, Andromeda held Little Feather in place as she looked down her nose at Gilgamesh, whose sword was still pointed right at her.

In Gilgamesh eyes, there were distinct flashes of indignant defiance. In his mind, him and the Omniscient Author were rapidly conversing.

'As a Universal Sovereign, she possess a power called a 'Dao-Law,' because within that universe, it is absolute.'

'As long as she uses that Dao-Law on someone that was birthed in this dimension, she is free to manipulate as she wishes.'

'However, your action of directing your focus to your sister has made it a bit more difficult.'

'How so?' Gilgamesh suddenly felt a sense of hope amidst all the negative emotions.

'If her Dao-Law were unhindered by your power, she could have directly brought Little Feather over to her and there would be nothing you could do.'

'But, she needed to distract you first. She needed some of your focus to be split, perhaps because you possess the power to prohibit her Dao-Law somewhat.'

Hearing this, Gilgamesh's expression softened, though it was still grim.

'Even knowing that, there's no way I can get Little Feather away from her. I might have to get a bit pretentious.'

Although their conversation takes a while to record, it actually happened in a few short seconds.

Gilgamesh suddenly lowered his sword with a sigh, and his head drooped.

"I give up. I'll submit to you... for now."

Andromeda suddenly giggled, "Don't believe you!"

Gilgamesh's nostrils flared.

"Go ahead and swear it upon your soul. That way, you won't be able to go back on your word without suffering a tremendous backlash."

"Do that, and I'll gladly let the girl go."

Gilgamesh grit his teeth; the urge to plunge his sword into Andromeda's heart had never been as strong as it was right now.

Even the Forest Master felt his blood begin to boil. He wanted more than anything to rush over and offer a helping hand, but he absolutely could not.

Not a single fiber of his being was able to take any action that would go against Queen Andromeda. It was not that he- or anyone else- didn't want to.

They could not. It was beyond impossible.

The shade of Gilgamesh's eyes became more and more red- like glowing pools of blood.

Subtly, his black hair was slowly attaining a slightly golden glow, as though its color was slowly shifting.

"Listen to me..." Gilgamesh started, and as his head fell forward more, his hair covered his face.

"If you do not unhand Ateah this instant..."

Samael was raised, and boundless amounts to true energy emanated from the blade, rising into the air as a baleful aura.

"I will burn the very essence of my soul, and use my full power to tear you apart, limb from limb! Little Feather and I can just die together!"

Endless killing intent turned the atmosphere icy, and Andromeda felt a vague sensation of danger. She shook her head, trying to fight the feeling.

"Don't be foolish, Gilga-"

"You are no longer permitted to speak that name." Gilgamesh said disdainfully.

Andromeda pressed her lips together and swallowed. She felt uneasy, but she was unsure why.

She cast her divine sense out, not wanting to take her eyes off Gilgamesh, and sensed nothing out of the ordinary.

However, something was still poking at the back of her mind. Something that she felt she was overlooking.

In thay moment, she utilized the power of her Dao-Law and peered into the souls of all the people present in the sect.

That was when she gasped and her head snapped in a certain direction.

However, she was already too late. Someone stepped out of the void, appearing right next to her.

With his glasses off, Wyg's green eyes seemed unfathomably deep, as though they contained an endless sea.

His colorless aura encapsulated his body, and his wild hair floated into the air as though gravity had lost its power.

Andromeda gasped. She had been unable to see him coming.

Gilgamesh was in shock, but he saw Andromeda preparing to attack in the instant she saw Wyg, preparing a fist of light.

"Damnit, get out of there!"

Wyg smiled at Gilgamesh, and his hand moved.

In that moment, Gilgamesh lost sight of his arm. It was simply too fast!

In the next instant, Little Feather was freed from Andromeda's grip as Wyg's voice floated over.

"Don't worry. All Andromeda is, is the representative of yet another Heaven. I could never fear her..."

"'Cause I'm the one and only Heaven-Fucker!"

After that, Wyg disappeared with Little Feather, evading Andromeda's fist of light.

As she struck naught but air, she shattered the weak space of this world and blew a large hole in the void.

Clearly, she wasn't holding back.

"NO!" Andromeda cried out, trying to locate where Wyg had gone, but she could not even sense Little Feather anymore.

It was like she was being shrouded from her Dao-Law by something that was not born in this dimension.

That was the only way for such a thing to be possible.

While she was still trying to locate Little Feather, Gilgamesh moved.

He was upon her before she could blink, and his sword fell.

Once again, the sword created an arc of light composed of all four miniature Divine Ones' power and his inherent nature.

That arc was mere inches away from Andromeda's neck when she saw it coming.

With no other choice, her aura exploded, and the planet below them suddenly shifted under the pressure.

It was being moved off of its axis, causing widespread changes to the entire world.

Sea levels rose drastically, and horrible floods began sweeping across the land.

At countless points on the planet's surface, enormous fissures opened up, almost destroying the planet straightaway.

Andromeda's light-covered arm moved in a hasty attempt at swatting Gilgamesh's attack away.

In an epic collision, Andromeda's hand and Gilgamesh's sword light met, widening the hole she had created in the void before it could repair itself.

Gilgamesh looked around and realized that this world could no longer handle his power.

Andromeda was locked in place, trying to defend against his attack, and so he took advantage of this to rush forward and stab his sword toward her chest.

"Don't push me, Gilgamesh!"

Andromeda suddenly grabbed hold of the arc of light, not caring about the damage it did to her hand.

With a ferocious roar, she tossed it into the void, then evaded Gilgamesh's sword.

In her hand, a long spear suddenly appeared, bathed in 24-colored light and emanating a profound aura of divinity and slaughter.

"If I wanted it, this entire world would be destroyed already. Then your precious Little Feather would surely die. Just give up, swear the oath, and perhaps you'll both live through this ordeal."

Gilgamesh frowned once the Omniscient Author told him that she was speaking the truth.

She could most likely eradicate this entire planet at a moment's notice. All he could possibly do was slow it down.

"Don't be so sure of that!" A cold voice sounded.

Gilgamesh and Andromeda looked over to where it had come from, and saw two people hovering in the air.

The first was Wyg, who was now donning long black robes.

The second was Law, who had ditched his top, exposing his mighty upper body.

As Andromeda saw them, her eyes narrowed and she suddenly scoffed.

"That explains it. You two aren't of this Universe, are you?"

Wyg and Law both nodded at the same time.

"Think about it, Andromeda," Wyg started.

"When the young Gilgamesh fell to your dimension, he was coming from beyond the Domain of Light. Do you think that, before that, he just came from no where?"

"In truth, the young Gilgamesh likely passed through countless Domains before he crashed into the Domain of Light and entered your dimension."

Law nodded, "He passed through my Domain of Destruction."

Wyg grinned as he put a hand on his side, "He also passed through the Domain of Defiance."

Hearing this, Andromeda slowly came to an understanding.

"So you two are also Universal Sovereigns?"

Wyg and Law looked at each other, then at Gilgamesh, who was also intrigued.

Wyg moved forward, and his Heaven-Fucker aura was slowly released.

Law also moved, and an aura of paramount destruction was exuded from him, ready to eradicate all things in a split second.

"Not at all. In terms of seniority, we would be on the same level as the being you call, The Light," Law folded his arms across his broad chest.

They then turned to face Gilgamesh, and gave him friendly smiles. Then, as though they were introducing themselves for the first time, they spoke.

"I am Defiance," Wyg said with a bow.

"I am Destruction," Law also lowered his head, giving the utmost respect.

"We are Domain Lords, and we have also been observing you for a long time."
