Forming a Plan

After a couple hours of research, Xiajun uncovered a few facts:

1. Alexander Francis was currently in Hong Kong to celebrate his youngest daughter's birthday, which was due in a couple days

2. The daughter's name was Lin Francis

3. Alexander only had one son, who's name was Leo Francis, and his side profile matched perfectly with the sharpened image Xiajun had in his phone

4. Xiajun had now a plan

One thing he found strange, though, was that Lin Francis had a face he somehow recognized, but couldn't put his finger on it. Where had he met her? At some banquet, perhaps? Or maybe on the street?

He couldn't remember.

But if Zhaohui had been right, and Leo Francis was indeed the man they were looking for, then Qi Lei's employee, Shan, would soon confirm it. But then how was he connected with The Phantoms?

Xiajun clicked through Leo Francis' pictures on the internet, and by the looks of it, he seemed to be a distinguished gentleman, son of foreign ambassador, Alexander Francis. Xiajun clicked a link which redirected him to Leo's social media account, and he scrolled through the images which he had recently posted.

One of them was of him standing in the middle of a large room which seemed to be adorned in crystal chandeliers and expensive carpeting. Under the image he had written a small tagline, which read: '@TheElysium @LinFrancis_188 Are you ready?'

Xiajun frowned. @TheElysium? The Elysium was the hotel he was staying at.

That was when a little chuckle escaped his lips. "This bast*rd... Is he seriously going to celebrate his sister's birthday at a hotel owned by the man he beat to a pulp?" But then he stopped. Had Leo Francis actually beaten Wu Yanlin? Or was he just a mere pawn on the chessboard?

Xiajun wondered about his next move. He had only a few days left in Hong Kong and he quickly needed to discover which people had been involved in the assault. For one, he wasn't even sure what the attackers' motive even was. What would they gain from beating Wu Yanlin? Had they meant to kill him? Or was this just a warning?

Xiajun knew one thing and it was that he needed to get closer to Leo Francis if he needed answers. And for that to be possible, he needed to get himself into Lin Francis' birthday party.

But how?
