The planet [Xenia] had a long history of martial arts as there were records of ancient times dating back thousands of years. 

From the ancient records that were still well preserved, people found that Martial Artists in ancient times could even split mountains and the wars were very bloody. 

Even though the Martial Arts had declined as time passed, there were still many families out there who held the same power as is told in the ancient records. These family warriors adhere to the ancient codes and don't travel outside their domains much. 

They have their own fixed areas and the conflicts among these families do not occur often because once they do, hundreds of thousands of people die and the battle ends only when one of the families is destroyed.
