Challenge!

For a few minutes, everyone gazes were at Cynthia.

Someone they never saw was in their classroom and even in the second year where new students can't join easily!

Maybe she was a transferred student. That's the only thing the students can come up with.

There was also this thing going on in their head – was she the famous introvert girl who was just a student in name?

Everybody thought of it once but then shook their head since it was impossible.

Because the introvert girl was famous for being as ugly as a fat buffalo and this girl even with spectacles on could not be called a ugly. She looked pretty normal.

The moment of silence died out as soon as Professor kang stepped inside the classroom with a thick book in his hand.

He was in his late fifty and looked stern and strict by the way he scanned each and every student face to find the number of students present in his class.

Wearing glasses and formal black checkered shirt, he stood in front of all the students beside his desk and kept his book over.

The fine wrinkles under his eyes and fingers stopped at a certain person as he lifted up his slightly trembling hand caused by old age and pointed at Cynthia.

She become his first target after the professor scanned the thirty students of his class including her.

"You… get up!" he pointed her out with a frown caused by annoyance.

He really hated when someone wasted his time during his classes no matter what the cause was.

She was completely unfamiliar to him, so he took her as a student from some other class who sneaked inside.

"Its not a playground that you can come and go anytime. You… you are wasting my class time. Hmm… tell me from which class you are. I will complain to your teacher," he scolded her furiously whereas the students who were really crazy for study frowned.

After all, she was wasting their precious time, too!

Cynthia didn't talk in roundabout way and made it clear at once, "Cynthia Cress, a student of this class. I am here to study under you, professor Kang". 

What? Cynthia Cress?

The famous ugly student, who was not just famous for her ugliness but also famous for entering the famous college through bribes.

The second one was true but not the first and everyone started to snicker while giving her a damn irritating look.

While the students were frowning over the wasted time caused by Cynthia, they completely forget about it and started to waste their time on gossips.

"How dare she shows up here! Doesn't she have shame?"

"Yeah… if I were her, I would have never come here to shame myself and my family".

"Isn't it really annoying? Professor Kang should kick out someone like her really quick".

"Umm… but you know, I heard that she was an introvert and she really looks like one while hiding herself in her hoodie. I guess that's the reason she never came. So why all of a sudden?"

"Whatever! We got here after giving tough exams while she simply got through bribes. I can't bear it".

"Silent!" Professor Kang bashed his hand against the desk and then gave a deeper frown this time.

It appeared that not just the students but the Professor was also biased but all along Cynthia didn't spoke a single word.

And just stayed silent seeing the cruel world in front of her eyes again and tried to sooth her heart by herself.

Its ok. It's always been like this, so its ok. There is no big deal about it and I don't need to create any ruckus either, I can just solve it easily but from now on I am not going to hide anymore.

She nodded while preparing herself and her troubled heart.

"Get lost. I never accepted you as my student. There are only 29 students under me and it will continue to be like this," the Professor voice thundered inside the classroom.

He was strict as usual but this was the first time he got that angry.

Cynthia remained expressionless and her attention was caught back when Cayna slightly hit her leg from behind and while keeping her head down and hidden behind Cynthia back she said while being amused.

"Nice play, girl! Don't leave even if that old dude asks to and continue this show, I am fed up with his boring classes," she whispered from behind almost making Cynthia chuckle.

"Are you deaf? I said… leave my classroom or I will leave," the professor threatened her.

Yes, just go. I can teach them instead of you and, I am sure. Cynthia slightly shook her head while mocking him and finally said.

"It doesn't change anything. If you disliked a student like me, you should have rejected me at once from the beginning".

"Yet you never reject the payment you receive for all the thirty-student including me, so what's the problem?" straightforwardly she asked.

The old dude never considered her as his student and that's what he said but he always took the payment for all the thirty students and these words said by Cynthia raised his blood pressure level.
