I've never liked being the one holding the camera

Call it selfish

But, I want to be the part of the memory

Not the one,

Whose responsible for making it

Behind the scenes

I want to be able to see myself smiling at the camera

No matter how horrendous I look

I don't want to be the one reminiscing

Behind the camera

The one, whose only laughter can be heard

But can't be seen

The one who's commenting how funny the person on camera looks

The one whose gallery is filled with memories to look back on

But they're just not a part of it
