Gold vs Water

Both the golden and water entities lock fists, dishing it out against one another, Orchid releases several onslaughts at the demon, all of which was combated with the demon's own strikes. The fight intensifies as neither of them were able to land a solid hit on the other, they were both able to nullify them with each other's own assault. It didn't seem one could overpower the other, it was most likely going to be determined by whoever could keep the fight going longer.

The demon was having it hard as Orchid didn't seem to have any problem keeping consistent, with his advances. He would take steps back after dealing with orchid attacks, the demon had understood that the fight was not going to go his way unless he left this vessel, allowing him to utilize his full powers.

*****

Orchid's eyes were fully white, it was not him taking on that beast but his consciousness, he didn't seem to doubt any of his advances and lashed out everything he had at the golden statue. There was no pause, his advance was flowing like a stream of water, no doubt clogging it or causing the flow to slow down.

"Are you even awake..." the demon spoke to Orchid.

"..."

"I guess not..." he hissed

Several miniature clones popped out in front of the water goddess, they charged at the demon, the demon formed a veil out of its possessed body in retaliation and sliced its way through the crowd of mindless clones.

Some managed to latch on to the body of the golden vessel trying to bring it down. It started with a few but eventually, it escalated into a whole mountain of them pinning the vessels down. They had overwhelmed the demon, as there were too many to swat away.

The demon moved out of the body of the statue, leaving the statute still, leaving the vessel was his best plan out. The demon was angered, he didn't expect a single human would have made him resort to such lengths. If it was any other human he would have swallowed them wholly by now, but this one gave him trouble and that gave a blow to his ego.

The monster that appeared in front of Orchid was the exact opposite of what it was before, the demon had horns, a big belly it was coupled with hideous looking eyes and general features. All in all he was not too pleasant to the eyes. Its eyes beamed with rage, he formed an axe and took a swing at the water goddess standing in front of him.

The goddess formed her own veil, locking it with the swung axe. Continuous assaults were retrieved by her making her lose a slight bit of her footing.

The clash between the weapons yielded sent waves throughout the temple. The intense fight was not doing any favours for the monument. It was not too sturdy, being a few hundred years old.

The demon got impatient as none of his attacks seem to be dealing significant damage, it didn't seem to stop, and at any given opening it would attack, it was like it was a robot fighting a demon. He was truly overwhelmed.

*****

The demon started collecting its power into a ball which started to form above the goddess and Orchid, the size only grew larger, the unconscious Orchid did not give the demon a chance and used the goddess to attack him once more. It was futile though when chains started to grip a hold of her from the ground beneath her, the chains emanated a purple aura. She couldn't move an inch, as the chain locked her into place, the demon leered, at the sight of her struggle.

The orb grew larger and larger, it was almost going to go through the roof. He gestured his hand downwards causing the enormous ball to crush into the goddess, the orb disintegrated her form leaving nothing but a giant crater in the centre of the temple. The demon started to laugh...

"That wasn't too hard..." he said laughing but just as a couple of chuckles left his mouth...

Droplets of water started to rise from the rumble created, the demon shifted back, realising his attempt was futile, he got ready to face the goddess again.

The droplets joined together forming the being again but this time with eight arms, her form shifted into a greater one, each hand held different weapons. There was another alteration to the goddess this time as well, she was twice the size of the demon.

"I didn't think humans were this strong...you maggots need to be killed..." he shouts enraged.

The demon changes in response making him twice as big, he grew a scorpion tail from his caudal bone accompanying the increase in size.

The two started fighting destroying major parts of the temple, the roof was demolished when attacks were being dished from both sides. None was letting go of the relentless attacks, it was like a playback from moments ago, the only difference being the two were bigger and that the building was not holding up too well.

The fight prolonged until the demon managed to snatch Orchid as he planted his hand through the goddess's body pulling Orchid out from it, the body of water melts deforms leaving only a puddle where it stood,

"Finally..hmmm sad you're not awake, I prefer when they scream for their lives...but I don't think your gonna wake up..." he smiles opening his mouth to devour Orchid's body whole. A flash of lightning strikes where the demon stood.

Jake cut through its mouth just before he manages to put Orchid into his mouth.

"Don't you dare!" he says venomously.

He locks eyes with the demon with Orchid in his hands, holding him, in a protective manner...

"Oh so he's yours?" the demon mocks as he attaches his mouth back.

"I didn't know you weaker demons could heal yourselves." Jake scoffs

"Weaker?" he said enraged, but before the two could go head to head, a team of militants arrived, which were led by twins who were yielding two poles each, the pole was accompanied by a lantern situated at the top.

That's just life baby...
