Chapter 74. Flames of Onigashima

Kaidou once again raised his club, refusing to allow the kid to overpower him.

Ace drew his blade as well, creating another gigantic rift on Onigashima. But this time, the lighting of Haki started cracking all over the island to the point that of you looked over from Wano country, you'd just see black, red and purple lightning flashing all over the island.

Ace used his devil fruit ability and turned the whole island into flames, and the whole island started burning with flames that reached 3 hundred meters into the sky.

Kaidou felt the temperature as his scales started to scorching and igniting.

Ace arrived in front of Kaidou and kicked him, blasting the gigantic man towards the gigantic skull at the center of the island. The skull had already been split into two, but now one of its halves had exploded to dust as kaidou was blown into it.

Kaidou stood up, normally even haki infused punches wouldn't harm him, but Ace was using advanced forms of it, which would destroy things from the inside, that hurt even a big guy like Kaidou.

Ace then continued sending slashes towards Kaidou and Kaidou returned the favour.

Their fight continued, and after half a day, most of the elites of beast Pirates had been defeated.

All the Demon Ace pirates were on the ground, breathing heavily as this was the hardest fights of their lives.

Only Pojo and King still stood, barely.

Both panting heavily.

Kings black armour had been blown off and his white hair could be seen, sadly most of it was red thanks to bleeding.

He held his black sword that was burning with flames as he looked at Jojo.

And Jojo held his Two handed Hammer that was crackling with lightning.

Both ready to attack eachother again. Jojo infused his Hammer with armament haki while blasting conqueror's haki towards King, and King attacked Jojo with his burning flame while resisting the mental attack.

Although king didn't have conqueror's Haki, he had a very strong willpower and could resist it's attack.

Jojo, wasn't didn't know how to infuse anything with his conqueror's haki, so had had to use armament.

As they collided, they created a big explosion witch left both of them incapable of fighting anymore.

Jojo Stood up with numb arms while panting and looked over to King, who seemed to be in a slightly worse situation to him.

"Who do you think will win?" Jojo asked, feeling respect for his opponent. He felt like he had understood his opponent to some extent, after fighting with him for half a day.

"Kaidou, is going to be the pirate king and change the world." King said as he laid on the ground, looking reluctantly at the sky.

Jojo looked in the direction of Onigashima. All he could see was flames reaching the sky, he wasn't sure what was happening, and he didn't dare to make a prediction as the clash between the emperor and his captain was beyond anything he could imagine, but in his heart, he believed his captain would prevail.

The whole of Wano had understood that changes was happening to Wano.

And they awaited the sunrise, as natural disasters continued wreaking havoc on Wano as a result from Kaidou's fight with the Flame Emperor.

After a day, had passed, King And Jojo continued their fighting, some of the Beast Pirates also stood up as a result and tried figthing the Demon Ace pirates again, and once again they were defeated.

This time, many heads were separated from their bodies. Only few of the elites of Beast Pirates were still alive.

The fight between Kaidou and Ace continued for three days.

Usually, Wano was a closed country. No information came in or went out. But because of the state of the Beast Pirates, the spies that had been planted in Wano, could finally relay information.

Which made most of the big powers in the world know that Kaidou had been fighting someone for three days straight.

The fight continued for another day.

Ace stood on a rock. Most of Onigashima had turned into magma, it was a burning inferno, as no matter where you looked, there was flames everywhere.

Kaido had a big cut stretching from his waist to his back, and one from his left shoulder down his stomach. He also had many gashes on his arms, neck, back, chest.

You could even see his bones at some places.

He also had a diagonal cut from his neck, up his face and to his horn. One of this horns had been cut off completely.

Ace had a big bruise on his chest and ribs. A cut on his right arm, but overall, he looked way better than Kaidou.

Kaidou raised his club once again and Ace's blade met Kaidou's club once again as they were blasted apart.

Kaidou felt his arms shake in pain and he knew that he would lose this fight. The first three days of fighting seemed uncertain but now that the fight had dragged on to the fourth day.... Kaidou had understood that Ace was stronger.

In anger he roared and once again turned into a gigantic flaming dragon that could bee seen fron Wano.

After four days, the citizens of Wano once again saw that gigantic dragon in the sky.

At first they believed that Kaidou had won but what they saw a second later made many of them cry out.

The flames of Onigashima turned into a gigantic burning form of Ace, that raised a sword of flames and cut the head of Kaidou.

Everyone on Wano saw it. As soon as Kaidou turned into a dragon, with many cuts and Gashes, another gigantic flame giant appeared from the flame of Onigashima, and cut the head off Kaidou.

"It's finally over..." In the flower capital, one of the higher ups, the highest ranked oiran of Wano, Komurasaki, was looking at the sight of Kaidou's defeat with tears threatening to fall out from her eyes. She did her best to not weep as she held her tears in.

She was known as Komurasaki, but her real identity was the daughter of the former lord of Wano, Oden Kozuki... She had been hiding for almost 18 years!

Her father and mother prophecied that in 20 years, young pirates would arrive and defeat Kaidou and save Wano... So they sent their strongest fighters to the future while she went into hiding.

Even her elder brother was sent. This is why she was very confused at this moment, as it hasn't been 20 years yet! And her brother along with he warriors hadn't returned either...

But that could be resolved later, right now she in turmoil as the horror she had survived finally seemed to be over.

Those in power, that was supported by Kaidou hurriedly started going into hiding as they knew that there was a new overlord in Wano.

Amongst the Demon Ace Pirates, Yamato had finished her fight against the Beats pirate, Queen. She saw how Ace beheaded her father, and although she bit her lip in frustration, she accepted the outcome.

Nami stared at the burning Onigashima and her feelings were very complicated.

She remembered how she met Ace by fate, and how he forced her to join, and then saved her from Arlong.

She remembers how at that time, 1,5 years ago, she knew that Ace would do big things and come far.

Looking around, she never expected that they'd come so far in so little time.

Apoo and Urouge looked at each other, they had once been rivals, climbing their way up to become the pirate king.

But only after joining the Demon Ace Pirates did they understand that they didn't have it in them to stand on equal grounds with Emperors, yet today, after joining The Demon Ace Pirates they had grown to the point of defeating the strongest fighters of the Beast Pirates.
