Chapter 26 - Goku vs Cell

Cell's lower body abruptly stood up and started regenerating Cell's upper body.

"He's come back to life! Cell has come back to life!" The reporter screamed to the top of his lungs as he announced towards the tv camera.

"Is this a trick, Mr. Satan?" The announcer asked Mr. Satan.

Mr. Satan's secretary answered as a sweat dripped down her forehead "O-Of course, it's a trick."

Mr. Satan just watched as he now stopped denying what he is seeing and knows it's not some kind of trick.

Haru who was watching them smiled and used his control over the law of the universe to protect them. This time, he wants to announce to the world who exactly defeated Cell instead of some clown.

"What's wrong, Goku? It seems like you've lost quite a significant amount of ki." Cell smiled

Goku also smiled as he went into a fighting stance "That goes for the both of us."

Cell just shrugged and replied "Okay then, let's keep going. I'll warn you now, I don't fall for the same trick twice. Make sure you don't waste your strength on futile attacks that would make this fight dull."

"I know" Goku replied and released his super Saiyan ki to full power.

"You don't say…" cell also released his ki to the max with also golden ki all over his body.

They stared at each other as they prepared to launch an attack.

Goku dashed towards Cell whereas Cell dodged and delivered a punch towards Goku's face sending him flying a bit but Goku retaliated by sending a kick towards Cell's face.

They started exchanging a chain of attacks getting faster and faster by the second. Both of them deal damage and get damaged themselves as they attack each other.

"Once again, it became a ferocious battle. Cell is attacking fiercely and the unnamed warrior is fighting back." The reporter reported towards the rest of the world while he watched the fight between Cell and Son Goku.

Cell attacked and Goku dodged sending a shockwave from the fist of Cell destroying a rock from faraway just by the sheer force of the shockwave.

Goku kicks in retaliation for Cell to only dodge and once again his kick also destroys a rock from farway just by the sheer force of the shockwave just like Cell's punch.

They kept sending attacks from both sides making their battle emit shockwaves from all over the place destroying rocks from all over the place, sending wind pressure all over the place that supassess most of the fights between mortals.

As they fought they wrecked the surroundings by the shockwave their punches generate when they hit and when they miss.

"It's shaking! Even the place we're standing in is shaking! How is this going to unfold from here on!" The reporter reported as he watched the fierce fight between Goku and Cell

As they fought Cell retreated upwards to send a ki blast towards Goku and Goku dodged and sent a punch towards Cell's face sending him flying away for a bit. Goku tried to kick him but Cell used an afterimage then appeared at the back of Goku, Goku felt this and somersaulted away then sent a ki blast towards Cell.

Cell used an afterimage again and appeared behind Goku and tried to slam Goku to the ground

"Guah!" Goku spit saliva all over the place as Cell's hands smashed on the back of Goku's head.

Goku was sent flying downwards, and he opened his eyes and saw Cell about to kick him from above and Goku used an afterimage to and appeared next to Cell trying to send him flying. They used afterimage one after another and almost were not able to hit each other but in the end Cell won the exchange and sent Goku flying with a punch. "Uwaaaaaaah!"

As Cell and Goku were fighting, Piccolo commented as they watched the fight "That Kamehameha earlier must have used up a significant amount of ki from Goku and Cell's regeneration also must have used up an equivalent amount of ki. And yet, to think they could still put up a fight like this…"

Vegeta who was also watching just looked at the fight in disbelief as he clenched his fist

Raditz and the androids also felt the same as Vegeta feeling powerlessness all over.

Gohan just watched as if he thinks why is his father holding back.

As they were thinking this, Goku and Cell punched each other in the face and backflipped with a distance from each other.

"Huff… Huff… Huff…" Goku breathed heavily while he stared at Cell

Cell also breathed heavily while staring at Goku "Ha… Ha…. Ha…."

Cell smiled and asked "What's wrong, Goku? Is that all you've got?"

Goku gritted his teeth and rushed towards Cell "Raaaaaah!"

What greeted him was Cell dodging and a knee kick towards his stomach "Gaaaah!"

Cell grabbed Goku by his shirt and lifted him up "Hahaha…" Cell laughed maniacally and prepared to punch Goku in the face.

Goku was recovering his stamina so he let Cell hit him in the face despite the damage it might cause

"Guwaaah!" Goku screamed as he was sent flying by Cell's punch towards the face. And crashed towards a rock that was in the distance creating a crater in the rock he crashed into.

Cell flew towards Goku confidently and smiled but changed his expression seeing Goku standing up

Goku stood up and sent a barrage of small ki blast with penetrating power to pierce through the body of Cell "Aatatatatatata!"

Cell knows this technique as his power came from Haru himself so he materialized a wall made of ki. But he saw that the ki blasts were getting through so he injected ki into it to make it denser.

Goku saw it so he didn't send anymore ki blast and used instant transmission to teleport next to Cell

Cell looked at Goku with a startled look as he didn't expect that.

Goku kicked Cell with his current full strength towards the head.

Cell screamed as he was sent flying for a few to several kilometers "Goku!!!!!!!!"

Goku breathed heavily as he stared at Cell's direction "Huff… huff… huf…"

Future Trunks cheered as he saw the exchange between Goku and Cell "Goku-san! He's winning! Goku-san is winning!"

Raditz chimed in "That's my brother!"

Piccolo chimed in as well "Son…"

Vegeta just clenched his hand in frustration as he knew that Goku was far stronger than him.

Gohan just looked as if it was no surprise and his dad could do more even without Ultra Instinct

As Goku was breathing hard he immediately prepared to fight because he heard Cell "Goku!!!!!!!!!"

Cell was flying towards Goku with incredible speed. Goku couldn't dodge and was sent flying just like Cell "Uwaaaaaaaaaaaaah!"

Goku ignored the pain and materialized a ki wall behind him and used it as a stepping stone to rush towards Cell again "Cell!!!!!!!"

"Goku!!!!!!!" Cell also rushed towards Cell and their punch both collided with each other.

They backflipped into a distance from each other after their punch collided and breathed heavily as they looked at each other.

Piccolo commented, clenching his fist while he watched the fight "Their ki have dropped… Cell dropped but Goku's ki dropped more severely."

Cell who was breathing hard smiled while he tried to stabilize his breathing and said "Your strength seems to have fallen off considerably, Son Goku. You should swallow one of those senzu things. We could have an even more spectacular fight…"

"T-This is our chance! If I give Goku-san a senzu and gang up on him we will win against Cell." Trunks said as he prepared to get a senzu in the little bag

Trunks just saw Vegeta, Raditz, Gohan, and Piccolo looking at Goku and Cell.

"I-I'll give him one now." Trunks said while he prepared as senzu in his hands to hear Vegeta say "Shut your mouth! Trunks!"

Trunks just looked at his father with a pale face.

Vegeta continued "You don't seem to have a Saiyan's pride with you, do you? If he has to win like that way, he would probably prefer to die instead!"

Trunks eyes twitched while he looked at Vegeta in disbelief at what he just said and thought Goku would probably be like that but this concerns the life of everyone on Earth so he's conflicted.

"Right now, he's not fighting for Earth! Remember that well!" Vegeta continued

Trunks commented as he looked at his father "B-But… at this rate…"

"He'll… probably be defeated… That's for sure… As infuriating as it is, Even with all the training I've done, Kakarot is still far stronger than me. That bastard is a genius! But! Cell has stayed one or two steps ahead of even Kakarot." Vegeta had a helpless look too knowing Goku was stronger than him

Trunks looked at Vegeta with a pale face and Raditz, Gohan and Piccolo sweated as they look towards Goku and Cell.

Trunks in frustration complained "Then what do you suggest we do?! Watch in silence?!"

Vegeta looked at him and replied "You said it yourself right? That he surely has a plan. We'll just count on that."
