Ronan Ross wanted to push Niall with the command of driving faster in turn reckless, but refrained himself from uttering any such thing which would simply raise the suspicions of his henchmen.
'Calm down, Ronan. Take a deep breath.'
The mafia king mulled to himself and inhaled deeply to swallow his impatience, which had been consistently growing on him since he had boarded the vehicle.
One could not believe to witness the iceberg melting in such way that Ronan Ross had been worrying over a woman. Could it be that he had actually taken a liking towards Renna Amaryllis?
The black python of vehicles halted in front of the station, leaving every single dweller of the area with no other choice rather locking themselves in their homes. After all who could afford to stir up the wrath of the mafia Lord, but perhaps the chief was totally unaware of the fact that the woman in front of him belonged to the king!
Niall immediately crept out and rushed towards Ronan's side to open the door for him_ an obedient driver you would say, but I would regard him as a faithful friend. After all he was the only person who had known Ronan since years and had numerous secrets confined in his chest.
The right hand man could still recall the very thunderous night when he had been sobbing silently in the narrow muddy alleyway, which had been loaded with stinking litter. Niall could feel his body losing control with the shivers upon remembrance, no one would have believed in today's day that Ronan's most trustworthy man once was a piece of trash!
Niall felt gratitude towards Ronan Ross who at that time was in his late teens and five years older to Niall. It was just another rebellious night for Ronan when he had sneaked out of the house of former mafia lord, in search for more people, more passion, resentment, people full of eccentricities!
And that was how he found Niall in that alleyway, crying over his current situation, a weak, weary child_ a fresh, young brain to manipulate, to persuade in rising up! Just as the former lord had done with Ronan Ross years ago.
From that day onwards Niall remained by his side and supported, protected him, dealt with the confidential affairs ever since. As Ronan Ross loved him dearly and Niall had been enjoying privileges since then, they both with the help of other such young blood took over the mafia throne, of course no one could stand in front of Ronan's eccentricities and passion!
But could it be possible that he was the person who tried to kill Amaris? Anyone could have sensed that even the indomitable man also had an Achilles heel, but not everyone could lure Amaris out and execute such a foolproof plan. Not everybody was able to.
Ronan crept out of the vehicle and settled the hem of his shirt and rolled his sleeves up, it was not a daily show to see him aggressive like a bull. The same man who had a reputation of being colder than an ice cube, expressionless and above 'human level' had finally began to show emotions.
The tables had turned upside down as Renna stirred up an endless turmoil into his life, she had forced Ronan to approach her personally, to propose her, she had made him smile, restless, insomniac, quizzical and what not! The lady had finally laid her chess pieces in the right places and the deadly game had already begun.
The first predicted strategy, getting abducted by Ronan Ross! Yes, the dead wife had came back to take revenge and she had planned to fall into Ronan's hands intentionally. It was a pity that she wanted his head six years later while the mafia lord seemed to take a liking towards her!
Ronan walked up to the glass ingress while Niall followed his master, not to forget the twenty armed henchmen who had arrived behind his vehicle.
'Jesus bless us! Bless my master with some brain!'
Niall prayed inwardly and physically his hands followed the prayer, of course he could not afford to offend his boss by uttering the words out loud.
Although he had been struggling inside to protect his master and to come up with something, which could shoo off Renna Amaryllis from his life. The only thing he was still unable to register was 'how did his master forget his late wife so soon after Renna's emergence?' The mere thought raised many queries within him, including to question the love of his master.
