Not about the ice cream 

It's been a month since John returned to the Evans mansion. And though it seemed extremely far fetched only three weeks ago, things were starting to look better for everybody involved. 

Treasure decided to stop acting like a mouse around a cat, that cat being her brother, and started sitting around the table with her family and Gloria who had moved into the mansion permanently with Robert since the situation there required their presence and their care. 

The step was the correct one. 

Cynthia was trying her best to give her son his space, she had noticed how respectful he was with Henry but noted that he laughed more around George. In an attempt to warm up to her children, she decided to observe them more and change her approach to them. George and she have been talking a lot about the children now, and slowly but surely, she was relying on him once more as her protector, just like in the old days, this time, he was doing so by guiding her way.
