19. Helping Nora

After some time the party is over because it's getting late, so everyone starts cleaning up the place and returns it to its previous look. When the place is already clean and returns to its previous look, everyone goes back to their place to get some rest.

The next day, Sico stays inside his room in the vault. Sico wants to continue researching the technology from his old world, and then choose the best technology that could be useful for them now.

While he was focusing on his laptop, suddenly the door in his room opened and Sico saw Nora enter his room.

Sico: "Nora, what do you need anything?."

Nora: "Yes, I need your help. Can you help me with some of the minutemen missions for a while? I can not bring Preston because he needs to take charge of the Sanctuary while I'm not in the settlement."

Sico: "Sure Nora, do you want to bring Robert too?."

Nora: "No just you, I just wanted to invite you and I take dogmeat with me too on the mission."

Sico: "Okay then, so what's the mission?."

Nora: "Tomorrow we will go to another settlement near here that sending a distress signal, then when we get there we will help them to solve the problem."

Sico: "Great see you tomorrow then."

After finishing saying what she wanted to say to Sico, they continued to chat for a while then Nora said goodbye and went back to the Sanctuary. When Nora is gone, Sico focuses again on his research on the laptop.

After doing some research on his laptop, Sico went to the surface and continued working on the motorcycle. There has been no progress on the motorcycle after it arrived from the Minutemen because they got their focus on helping them.

Sico was glad that he had time to check and continue working on the motorcycle, because sooner or later they would need it to shorten the times when they went to another place.

After finishing some parts of the motorcycle, Sick went to the Sanctuary to get some walks. When he arrived at the Sanctuary, he saw a woman with a Brahmin and some guards in the Sanctuary. Then he went to approach her and wanted to ask her what is she doing in the Sanctuary.

Sico: "Hello there do you have any business in here?."

Trashcan Carla: "Yes hello there, my name is Trashcan Carla a merchant. I heard that there is a new settlement here and want to do some trading with the people here if that's okay."

Sico: "Great finally we have a merchant that comes to our settlement. Welcome my name is Sico, you could say that I am one of the leaders in this settlement so feel free to do some trade in here."

Trashcan Carla: "Thank you then, so do you need something to trade?."

Sico: "Do you have 5mm rounds and 5.56mm ammo? I need the 5mm rounds about 750 rounds and 750 5.56mm ammo."

Trashcan Carla: "You are in luck, I still have that. The price for all of it is 1.750 caps."

Sico: "Okay here are the caps, pleasure doing business with you."

Trashcan Carla: "The pleasure is mine, I hope in the future we can do some trading again."

Sico: "Of course, then I see you later Carla."

Trashcan Carla: "See you later Sico."

After that, Sico took his leave and then went to Preston to tell him about the merchant Trashcan Carla whom the Minutemen could do some trades. Then when he was done talking with Preston, Sico went back to the vault and ate some dinner then he went back to his room to get some rest.

The next day, Sico put on his power armor and grabbed his weapon then went on to meet up with Nora at her house. When Sico arrives at Nora's house, he sees that Nora and Dogmeat already waiting for him and they are already prepared to go.

Sico: "Hey Nora, so ready to do the mission?."

Nora: "Of course, I brief you on the way there."

Dogmeat: "Woof! woof!."

Sico: "Hahaha… how could I forget about you buddy, so are you ready for the trip?."

Dogmeat: "Woof!."

Sico: "Okay then let's go!."

Then they went on to the settlement that Nora said needed some help, she briefed him on the way that the settlement's name is Tenpine Bluff and they were sending some distress signals. On the way there, they don't meet many enemies just a bloatfly and some mongrel dogs.

When they arrived at the settlement, Sico and Nora went to meet their leader asked what the problems they had, and then went to help them.

Nora: "Excuse me, is this the Tenpine Bluff settlement?."

Settlers: "Yes it is, what do you need?."

Nora: "Can we talk to your leader please?."

Settler: "Of course right this way."

Settler: "Sir there is someone who wants to meet you."

Leader: "Okay, wait a minute."

Settler: "Okay Sir, you guys can wait for him here. I have to get back to my work."

Nora: "Thank you for your help."

After that, the settler went back to his job, and after waiting for a couple of minutes the leader went to meet them.

Roy: "Hello there, the name is Roy the leader of this settlement. So what can I help you guys with?."

Nora: "Hello Roy, my name is Nora and this is Sico. I'm from the Minutemen and we are here to help you guys after we get your distress signal."

Roy: "What? The Minutemen? I thought they were gone."

Nora: "Yes that's true, but we are rebuilding it again from the ground. So what is the problem you guys had?."

Roy: "Great! After the Minutemen had gone, it was really hard to find someone to help you without backstabbing you. We have a problem with some raiders that hold up at the Corvega Assembly Plant, they send some threats that if us doesn't give all of our corps they will attack us."

Nora: "Okay then the Minutement will always be happy to help, you can wait for the good news."

Roy: "Thank you! I mark the place on your map."

After that Sico, Nora, and Dogmeat went to the Corvega Assembly Plant, and when they arrived at the place they saw there were many raiders in there. Then they went to discuss the plan to attack the raiders and concluded that they just attacked gun blazing more efficiently.

After that they went to attack the raiders outside of the power plant, when the raiders outside were dead they went inside the power plant. After they got inside, they continued attacking the raiders that were inside the place.

Sico and Nora met some heavy resistance from the raiders, but they finished them easily without any injury. When they killed all the raiders in the power plant, Sick went to loot the place and got many resources, weapons, and armor that he could sell later.

After the job is done, they go back to Tenpine Bluff to report to Roy that they will never get raider trouble again. When they arrived at Tenpine Bluff, they saw that Roy was waiting for them at the settlement gate.

Roy: "So how are the raiders? Are you already taken care of it?."

Nora: "Yes Roy, we already killed the raider group in the Corvega Assembly Plant."

Roy: "Great! Thank you so much for your help, here are some rewards that are not much but I hope you can take it."

Nora: "Oh you don't have to, the Minutemen are always happy to help."

Roy: "Well because the settlement heard the Minutemen are back, we want to join you guys."

Nora: "Great choice Roy, we will send some men in the future to help you guys guard the settlement if they are already done with the training. Well then we take our leave now it's already evening, and we have to get back to our base the Sanctuary before nightfall and here I mark the place on your map."

Roy: "Okay, thank you again for your help."

After that Sico, Nora, and Dogmeat say goodbye to them, then head back to Sanctuary. On the way Nora was excited that the Minutemen finally earned some trust again after the previous trouble they had, Sico tells Nora that this will be not the last settlement they help and that the Minutemen will grow bigger in the future.

They arrive at Sanctuary at nighttime, so when they arrive they say goodbye to each other and go back to their own place to get some dinner then go to get some rest after a tired day. The next day, Sico woke up and then continued working on the motorcycle, after he was done doing some parts of the motorcycle Sico went to the storage room to place the resources he got from the Corvega Assembly Plant.

When he was done placing the resources, Sico went to meet Trashcan Carla to sell the weapon and armor he got from the raiders. Trashcan Carla gave him 7.500 caps for all weapons and armor that he sold to her, Sico agreed with the price and then said thanks to Trashcan Carla then went to Nora to ask her something.

Sico: "Nora, when is the next mission? Do you still need my help?."

Nora: "Maybe this time I go by myself, but I want to borrow your power armor for it."

Sico: "Okay then sure you can borrow it."

Nora: "Thanks Sico, you are a very nice person."

Then while Sico chatting with Nora suddenly they hear the sound of an explosion and gunfire from the Sanctuary bridge. They hear a yell coming from Preston that they have a raider attack on Sanctuary, so Sico stops his conversation with Nora and they go to their own place to grab their gun to support Preston in defending the place from the raiders.
