Chapter 17: Yes

A week had passed since Jordy asked Aj to be his girlfriend and he was now worried about it because Aj hadn't responded ever since. To him it seemed as though she was even avoiding him. The only thoughts that ran through his head was the fact that she probably didn't like him or she probably didn't even feel anything towards him and those thoughts made him break

Jordy had never really liked anyone before. He only went on dates when his mom arranged it with a friend's daughter and they had to plead with him before he accepted. That was until a year ago when he met Aj, he had started having a crush on her ever since, like who wouldn't she was beautiful, smart, elegant and every other thing he ever wanted in a girl. All the girls he ever met acted perfect and lady-like but she was the first girl he met that didn't care about it even a bit

She had triggered that feeling in him when she stood up to Tyler before. And finally, he opened up to her only for him to get rejected. He was lost deep in all his thoughts that he didn't even realized that someone had walked into the balcony where he was. It wasn't until she spoke that he realized her presence

"Hey Jordy" Aj greeted cheerfully

"Oh hi" He greeted back. He wondered why she was here. Was she here to reject him? 'No don't jump into conclusions' he told himself. He was about to speak but she beat him to it

"You're probably wondering why I'm here? But I'm here concerning what you asked me that time in the elevator" she said making him draw in his breath in readiness for her rejection and Aj sensing his tension finally answered him

"And after thinking about it I have agreed to it but this will not be a trial for you but a trial for me. If I still don't want to be in a relationship after one month, I'll be the one leaving" she said and Jordy looked at her surprised. He thought she was going to reject him

"So you're saying yes?" He asked excitedly but Aj was already feeling shy so she turned and started walking away

"Is it a yes?" He asked again and this time she replied him "yes" she said and she ran away to her room leaving Jordy to rejoice over what just happened.

Aj got to her room and buried herself under her blanket before screaming into her pillow happily. She had finally done it. She needed to call her friends. She had already told them about Jordy's question and they supported her saying yes so she needed to tell them she had agreed

After making the phone call, she continued reading a novel that she had been reading on her phone

After a while, she left her room and went downstairs. She needed to borrow Jordy's car because her dad had confisticated it and she knew that if she called for it her dad would be able to track her. She saw him playing a game on his gaming system

"Jordy could you please borrow me your car? Mine got confisticated by my dad and I really need to go out to get some stuffs" Aj asked but Jordy didn't reply her

"Are you even listening?" She asked again and this time Jordy replied "I'm doing a live stream" and he turned the system to face her which made Aj to immediately duck under the table

"Why are you even hiding, they are going to see you soon" Xavy said as he and the rest of the guys were walking into the main room which held a huge table with gaming computers for each of the players

"Exactly, you'll have to do live streams where they are going to see you" Kai said

"Who said anything about me doing live streams" Aj countered

"If you don't do your live streams Zac is going to reduct from your monthly paycheck mercilessly" Jordy who had continued playing his game said and that was when the fans who were listening to what was going on decided to comment

"Jordan, who is the girl speaking" one of them said and another said again "could it be that she's Jordan's girlfriend?"

"She's our new player" Jordan said

"Aj you know even if you are able to escape from the livestream you can't escape the live match. Except you want to wear your mask around" Ricardo said and he merely shook his head when Aj nodded her head enthusiastically
