Chapter 18: heartbreak

They were still talking when a phone call stopped all talks. Aj had a huge grin on her phone as she picked up the call and put it on speaker

"Hey handsome!" Aj greeted cheerfully and all the guys stared at her with mouths agape. The caller replied with a smile on his face "Hello beautiful. Morning sunshine of my life" and the guys were more shocked. The voice was thick, deep and masculine

"So what's up. No matter how much you try to hide your worry I will still be able to sense it. What happened? Do you need me to come over?" She asked immediately she sensed the uneasiness in his voice

"Well yeah something happened to your brother" He said and Lianne replied "You sound okay or is it just a cover up?"

"Wint you know I'm talking about your other brother, Jack" He said sounding really worried "I know you both aren't really on speaking terms but I really need your help"

"What is it that you possibly can't handle? He's your younger brother also, isn't he" Lianne asked

"Well, Rachel broke up with him two days ago and somehow, we found him in the bar wasted last night. I took him to my house but the housekeeper called to inform that she went to check him in his room but she couldn't find him. I've tried calling him but he isn't picking up. I have a meeting soon, so I can't really leave so I need you to please find him" He said

"Bj... fine I'll go get him" Lianne finally said and he thanked her profusely before cutting the call

She dialed a number and after 3 rings, it was picked and she put on speaker

"Jb?" Lianne asked uncertainly

"Hi" a female voice responded instead making Lianne look at her phone screen for a second for confirmation

"Uhm, please who am I speaking with?" Lianne asked. "I'm Jennifer.  I suppose you're trying to reach the guy here. I found him in the bar and decided to help" she greeted calmly. Lianne didn't feel like she was a bad person

"Hi, I'm Oliannah, I'm his sister" she introduced

"I suppose you want to reach him so I'll send you the address" Jennifer said and Lianne thanked her before cutting the call and leaning back on her chair sighing

"So one of your brother is Bj and another is Jb? Was that intentional?" Alex asked

"Bj is short for Benjamin and Jb is short for Jackobee and yes I'm the last born and only girl" Lianne said answering the question they were likely to ask and all their lips turned a small 'o'

"Uhm, Jordy can I borrow your car? I need to go pick up my brother" Lianne explained

"You wouldn't even be able to drive his car" Alex stated

"We drive the same car" Jordy and Lianne said

"So where are you guys going?" Lianne asked noticing that they were all dressed up

"We have a meeting with the major shareholder of QGDZ groups" Zac said

Lianne took Jordy's car and the guys took the QGDZ bus
