The moment they got on the train, Natsu's head was slumped against the window, his expression looked like he could vomit at any moment. Well, he should be fine since he's sitting next to Lucy and Gray.
Kali and Erza sat on the seat behind where the others sat so that they couldn't see what they were doing.
"Erza, mind telling me why I have to do this?" asked Kali.
"Don't question it, it feels comfortable. Plus, you used to let me do this all the time, so what's wrong with it now?" asked Erza.
"That was when we're alone, but we're out in the open right now," Kali replied.
"No one's looking right now, it's fine. If someone does see, I'm sure you can them forget they saw anything at all, am I correct?" asked Erza.
"What makes you think my abilities are that strong?" asked Kali.
"But hey, you're not denying it," Erza replied.
The position they were in would make anyone surprised, Erza was laying on Kali's lap as Kali stroked Erza's scarlet hair. They were the strongest wizards of Fairy Tail and yet their behavior seemed different from that.
But hey, since no one was looking at them, it was fine.
"Erza, do you ever take your armor off?" Kali questioned feeling genuinely curious.
"Of course not, how am I supposed to be ready if there's suddenly an outbreak? I have to be prepared at all times," replied Erza.
Kali smiled, Erza was exactly the same as she was displayed, even if she was a little different because of the butterfly effect with her being brought into this world. Though, the memories of her past life were becoming vaguer and vaguer. But it wasn't much of a problem.
"Oh, I almost forgot, where's Happy?" asked Kali.
"Did you forget? He's here but he doesn't show himself whenever you're around since he's scared of you." Erza replied.
"Really? What did I do to make him scared of me?"
"Did you forget the time where you threatened to roast him alive if he annoyed you again?"
"Ah, I see. Well, he'll have to show himself either way. Now, mind explaining the mission for me?"
Instead of receiving an answer, Erza suddenly shot up and started staring at the back of the train, her entire demeanor changed in a matter of one second.
"Is something wrong?" asked Kali.
"Him, that figure right there is who we're going to go up against. He's from the Einswald dark guild, they're planning to use the magic Lullaby for something big," replied Erza.
"Lullaby...as in the magic that was sealed away for being too powerful?" asked Kali.
"Un, since I can't go against their whole guild by myself, I decided to ask you guys for help," replied Erza.
"Are you sure this mission won't be too easy for me? I've been going against dragons and gods around the world," said Kali.
"That's true, this mission might be a bit too easy for you considering this isn't even S-Rank yet, just step in when you need to," said Erza. "Now let's focus, he's still on the train."
Kali peeked over the top of her seat, in her vision, there were shadow-like tentacles that emerged below the figure in white. That was when the train suddenly came to a stop, strong magic energy could be detected in the air.
"Quick! Let's hurry to the front!" Kali exclaimed.
Erza dashed from her position and signaled the others to follow her. However, before they could make it to the front of the train, a huge blast appeared separating them and the white figure. When the smoke dissipated, the front part of the train could be seen moving away as they were on the other half, motionless in front of the train station.
"Damn it! I didn't calculate that this would happen," said Erza frustratedly.
"We still have time to catch up, is there anything in your luggage that's useful?" asked Kali.
"I'm glad you asked, watch this," said Erza grabbing a piece of luggage from the cart, with a flick of her wrist, the luggage suddenly turned into an automobile.
"What the heck is this?" asked Kali.
"It's an automobile that relies on magic power, I'll be the one to drive it," said Erza.
"Nope, I'm the one who's going to drive it since I have the more magical energy than all of you combined. Erza, you also have to save your energy for the fight," said Kali.
"I guess that's true..." Erza muttered, unable to come up with an excuse.
"Now, let's hurry up to the next train station, I'm sure he'll be there by the time we arrive. Also, Lucy, don't drop Natsu!" said Kali.
"Hai!" Lucy exclaimed.
With that said, all of them hopped into the automobile while Kali and Erza stayed in the front, otherwise, it would've been extremely crowded.
"Are you sure you can handle it?" asked Erza.
"Of course I can, I have an immense amount of magical energy. There's no way this will get me tired." Kali replied.
"Alright, I'll trust you on this," said Erza.
Kali steered through the roads, using the fastest routes to get to the next train station. Even without any driving experience, Kali was still decent at it, even though she nearly ran over a few grocery stands on the way.
"Oi! How long until we get there?! I don't want Natsu throwing up on me!" Gray yelled from behind.
"We're almost there! I have the entire kingdom memorized!" Kali yelled back.
"You have the whole kingdom memorized?!" Erza asked in disbelief.
Kali smiled. "When you have to travel constantly because you have countless missions, everything will naturally come to you."
In a few minutes, there were already near the area where the train station was located. The place was crowded with people, security guards were trying to keep the people from entering the train station.
"There sure is a ruckus," Lucy muttered. "Natsu still hasn't recovered from his motion sickness yet."
"Tsk, it's better without that fire freak anyway," said Gray.
"How are we supposed to get in?" asked Kali.
"BOOM*
There was a loud sound coming from the opposite direction. When Kali turned around, there were a bunch of guards knocked out on the floor, and Erza was swiping her hands together.
"I guess that's one way to do it, now let's hurry before anything happens. Erza and I will go this way while the three of you go the other way," said Kali.
"Why do I have to go with the fire freak!?" complained Gray.
"Quit complaining or else I'll make you go through my training!" Kali shouted.
"Yes ma'am! We'll get right onto it!" Gray instantly replied as they started heading in the other direction.
"Let's go," said Kali with Erza trailing behind.
When they the staircase, their vision was filled with guards that were knocked out all piled on each side of the staircase.
"It seems they're already here," said Erza.
"Yep and they're probably waiting for us after we pass this staircase."
And Kali was right.
When they passed the staircase, a bunch of members from the dark guild could be seen waiting for them. Kali glanced at the figure with long white hair, blue marks across his body, and a scythe leaning against his shoulder.
"You must be Erigor, correct?" asked Kali.
"And you must be the SS-Rank wizard of Fairy Tail, the "Killer of Time" since time doesn't seem to affect you at all," said Erigor.
Kali cringed at the nickname given to her by the public, she never asked for a nickname nor did she want one at all. Kali was nice and simple, but she was called the "Killer of Time" since she looked like she hasn't aged at all once she reached adult age.
"What's your aim? What're you planning to do with the Lullaby?!" asked Erza.
"Oh? You're saying you don't know?" asked Erigor as he flew onto the siren. "With the thousands of onlookers here at the train station, wouldn't it be great if we let them hear a beautiful lullaby?"
"You're planning to broadcast the melody of death to innocent people?!"
"This is a cleansing of fools who preserve their livelihoods by flaunting their rights, ignorant of those who've had their rights taken away."
As Erza and Erigor were talking with each other, Kali used this time to look around and observe the members. One thing that could be said was that everyone was weak, including Erigor. If he didn't have the Lullaby that held death magic, Kali would've already gone and fought him. But that could be counted as bullying, she needed to let Erza have a turn.
None of the members of the dark guilds in front of them could possibly touch Kali or even get near her. They were better off kneeling on the ground praying for their lives to be spared.
"Alright, let's stop the talking." Kali interfered. "Let's hurry up and take care of this nuisance. You go after Erigor, I'll take on the rest. You can do that right?"
"Of course," Erza replied. "Good luck!"
"I won't need it, but thanks," said Kali as she cracked her neck. "Now then, let's warm up a bit."
