With a snap of her finger, the incoming fist stopped a few inches before it could make contact with Kali's head.

"It's good to see you too Laxus, did you think a sneak attack would work on me?"

"Tsk, you and your stupid tricks. You still haven't told me or anyone in the guild how your magic works. I don't even think we know what your magic even is." Laxus said with a grunt.

"Hmm? There is someone in the guild who knows how my magic works and what my magic is though." Kali replied.

Laxus suddenly felt curious, "Who is it?"

"Of course it's Mira, who else?" Kali asked casually.

Laxus rubbed his temples, never once had he felt this frustrated in his life dealing with someone other than his gramps.

"Mira doesn't count!"

"Why not?!"

"Because you and she are basically siblings, you know everything about each other so she doesn't count. Is there someone else besides her who knows of your magic?"

"That's the first time someone labeled us as sisters despite us looking nothing alike, your mind sure does work differently Laxus. Anyway, I don't think anyone knows my magic other than Mira."

"Exactly, my point is proven. Now tell me what your magic is, you've never said anything ever since you joined Fairy Tail."

"I'll tell you when I have time to tell you, my schedule seems to be a bit busy right now."

"You literally just came back, what do you mean busy?"

"Rule number six of Kali's introduction to proper manners, never question something that one doesn't wish to share."

"Don't give me that, I'm already tired of memorizing all one hundred rules that you forced everyone to read except for Mira."

"You're just jealous, anyway, it was nice talking to you Laxus. But it seems I have somewhere to be," said Kali, wanting to leave quickly, but her leg hit something that nearly made her fall over.

"What the heck was in my way- oh." Kali stopped herself from continuing when she glanced down, there was Master Makarov. "Oh, hey Master Makarov, I didn't see you down there."

Makarov suddenly felt a vein wanted to pop out from his forehead, this girl would greet him the same way over the past years. But he couldn't say anything since Kali sounded polite causing him to only sigh and drop the matter while the latter held a smile.

"*Sigh* Welcome back, Kali. It's been a long time since you've been back, you've changed quite a lot," said Makarov.

"Really? How did I change?" Kali asked, confusedly.

"You have a more relaxing and carefree atmosphere around you unlike before, the atmosphere around you would drive people away from you, even scaring some of our guild members," Makarov replied.

"Was it really like that? I thought people avoided me because they didn't want to bother me since I was an SS-Rank wizard," said Kali.

"That too, but back then, people were mostly scared of you. I remember when you first joined the guild, not even Erza wanted to get close to you, but look at you two now," said Makarov.

"Time really flies by, huh. Moreover, what did you come here to talk about?" asked Kali.

Suddenly, Makarov's expression turned grim. "There's been some trouble happening around the kingdom, I've already discussed this with Erza so she can tell you what's it about."

"Why do I have to go ask her? Can't you tell me what it is instead?" asked Kali.

"If I did that, that would be ruining the surprise. Moreover, I have something to discuss with Laxus." Makarov said as he glanced up at Laxus.

"Alright, I'll go ask her now. If it's some nonsense, everyone in the guild has to go through my training again." Kali threatened.

Makarov let out a chuckle. "Don't worry, it's not nonsense, it's quite important. Now, hurry up and go while I talk to Laxus."

"Alright, later then, Master Makarov," said Kali as she started walking down the stairs.

"Oi! Wait! I'm not done dealing with you yet!"

When Kali made it back downstairs, Erza was already finished with her strawberry cake and was talking with Natsu, Gray, and Lucy.

"Erza!" Kali called out. "Master Makarov said you needed me for something, what's it about?"

"Ah, that's right. I'm planning to form a team to go on a mission with me," said Erza.

"Oh? That's cool, who are you planning to take on the mission with you?" asked Kali.

"It's going to be me, Natsu, Gray, Lucy, and you," said Erza.

"Ha!? Why do I have to work with this ice popsicle?!"

"Why do I have to team up with fire freak?!"

Immediately, Erza shot them a death glare. "What was that?"

""Nothing! We're getting along, as usual, of course, we'll team up with you!"" said Natsu and Gray in sync.

Meanwhile, Lucy still had her jaws dropped from surprise, Erza nodded and continued.

"Good, so what do you say Kali? Want to come with me on this mission?" asked Erza.

"I'll think about it, but why do you need me? You have some of these strongest guild members with you already," said Kali.

"That's true, but I heard something bad while I was on my last job," said Erza. "Normally, I'd consult Master about this first but it seems he's busy right now."

"Yep, he's discussing something with Laxus right now, he also has a meeting with the Council later."

"Exactly, I believe this is a matter of the utmost emergency. I want your help, will you come with me?" Erza asked, staring deep into Kali's eyes.

Everyone in the surrounding was surprised, this was the first time Erza asked Kali to go on a mission with her. Back then, Erza only went on missions with Kali when Kali told her to come along cause Kali didn't want to go alone saying it would be boring.

"Natsu and Gray on the same team...impossible," Lucy muttered turning to Mira who seemed to be in deep thought.

"Erza, Gray, and Natsu. I would've never imagined it, moreover, there is also the possibility of Kali joining. If she does join, this might be the strongest team ever formed throughout Fairy Tail's history." said Mira.

"Ha? What did you say? The strongest team ever formed throughout Fairy Tail's history...?" Lucy asked in disbelief.

Kali contemplated for a moment, if she went on the mission with Erza, it would change the mission to a D-Rank mission since she was basically a cheat code in this world. Kali wanted to rest and hang out with Mira, but this was also the first time Erza has ever asked her to on a mission together.

Unable to refuse, Kali accepted. "Fine, but don't expect me to do all the work for you."

And thus, the strongest team of Fairy Tail was formed this very moment, right in the center of the guild.

"Erza, we're not going on a vacation so why are you carrying a cart full of bags?" Kali asked.

"You never know if there are souvenirs to get," Erza replied. "Also, is everyone ready to get on the train?"

"Yes, I was wondering when we were going to head out," said Lucy.

"Natsu! Gray!" Erza called out. Immediately, the two stopped fighting and acted as if they were best friends.

"'Yes?""

"Are you both ready?"

""Of course!""

"Good."

"Wait!" Natsu exclaimed. "I'll come along, but on one condition."

Grey turned blue, "Oi, wait! It better not be what I think it is."

"What is it? Tell me," said Erza.

"Fight me once we get back!" exclaimed Natsu.

"Oi! Don't get hasty! Do you want to die?" Gray warned.

"Things are different from last time, I can beat you now!" Natsu exclaimed, his voice full of confidence.

Kali sighed at the sight of this, every time Natsu challenged Erza, Natsu would be brutally beaten every single time. Just when will he learn his lesson?

"Sure," said Erza.

Everyone was surprised at the fact that Erza actually accepted the challenge.

"However, I will only fight you if Kali accepted to fight me," added Erza.

"Ha?! What did I have to do with this?" asked Kali.

"Kali, you've never fought me once, all you did was train me during those mock battles. That's why if Natsu wants me to fight him seriously, you must fight me seriously." Erza said sternly not taking her gaze away from Kali.

Suddenly, sparkles were coming from Natsu's direction, he was practically begging Kali to accept, however, Kali felt reluctant to accept.

"To save Natsu from getting beaten, I think I'll decline the challenge," said Kali.

Gray let out a relieved sigh as Natsu had dark clouds forming above his head, there was no other choice, the outcome would be the same. Natsu would be beaten up and Natsu would be knocked out for a couple of hours.

"There you have it Natsu, it seems like we won't be fighting," said Erza, but she felt a bit disappointed.

*CHUU* *CHUU*

"It seems like the train is here, let's get on it. You still have to explain to me what the mission is about, it has to be something dangerous since you said this is a matter is of the utmost emergency," said Kali.

Erza nodded, "Yes, I'll explain it to you and Lucy because you both are probably the most reliable sources right now."

Although it sounded harsh, that was the case.

"I wonder how this mission will turn out," Kali muttered.
