Chapter 77: Replica 1
~Silva K. POV~
[September 9, X784]
FUCKING FINALLY!!
[Ding!]
[Due to fundamentally understanding the Mana Method Manual a new skill has been developed from grasping the principle of Runes commanding Magic!]
[Skill: <Mana Method> learned!]
After painstaking days and weeks trying to understand the damn manual, I finally unlocked the <Mana Method> skill!
Fuck you Being X!!
You know if you wanted to give your gamers a better time than next time make this a Skill Book not a manual you cheap fuck!!
I spent 2 whole days… WHOLE DAYS deciphering this piece of crap!!
WRRRRYYYYYY!!!!!
Inside my apartment barely functioning pulling want to vent out my frustration because I come to find out that the guild and Phantom Lord's books contain nothing about Time Magic!!!!!
When I asked about this with Master or Mavis, they had no idea where to even begin finding this Magic. Considering that both guilds don't have topics or Grimoires of Time Magic leaving me in a bind on how to use Time Magic in the slightest!
I needed to vent a bit as I calmly regained my composure muttering to myself, "Sigh… no use arguing or throwing a tantrum. I have <Mana Method> to help me unless it costs too high to use. Let's begin with baby steps here Silva, baby steps."
Skill List.
----
<Mana Method> (Active) Lv.1/100 Exp: 0.0%
Description: <Mana Method> is a unique magic technique, the mage shapes the runes and arrays from natural mana in their environment rather than purely from their own magic power; however, this technique still requires the mage to have a large amount of magic power, as well as good instincts and fast reflexes.
-With greater mastery over this skill majority of MP skills would not waste MP unless not in an area without Mana.
-When this skill reaches MAX level the skill <True Magic> can be unlocked.
----
Feeling a sense of joy coursing through me as I began to test out <Mana Method> creating my <Glyphs> I couldn't help but smirk.
Looking at my <Glyphs> in action I double check to see that some MP was used but then I got notified from my skill leveling up.
[<Mana Method> LEVEL UP!]
[<Mana Method> LEVEL UP!]
Smirking at this I knew it was only a matter of time grinding this skill I won't have to worry much about my MP bar for a while, but the process was going to be difficult though.
Imagine a highly complex spell that would take a long while to absorb the Mana from the air rather than a preset-ruled one that would be easier to cast.
This is going to take a while to master but finally, I manage to land on the first step.
Whew…
*Thud*
Landing down on my bed I'm exhausted!
For the past 2 days I have been grinding with the Strauss family building up some hand-to-hand combat experience along with the casual sparing matches with Mirajane in the process making me be careful around her while studying to complete the Mana Method Manual left me dead tired.
But God damn, did her Soul Satan form looked sexy.
In all seriousness though the fight against her was intense during each session but seeing she has her day job as the Guild Bartender she tends to only spar with me 2 days a week since she's getting the hang of gaining control of her inner demons.
No, she meant that in a quite literal sense when it came to her <Take Over Magic> as a matter of fact.
Although the new armor I got from defeating Mira even though it was by LUCK. Taking the time, I used <Requip> to get my new Teigu Carnage Incarnate – Grand Chariot in its sealed form key is a short black sword with a handguard and a chain link tassel on the hilt.
<Observe>.
----
Item: Carnage Incarnate – Grand Chariot
Rarity Item: SS
Type: Armor
Description: Carnage Incarnate – Grand Chariot is an Armor-type Teigu that is nearly identical to Incursio, although its key is a short black sword with a handguard and a chain link tassel on the hilt. When released, it takes the form of black, full-body armor with a phantasmagoric defensive film in place of Incursio's traditional cape.
The stance required to activate Grand Chariot is the same as Incursio's, in which the user will stab the key into the ground and the Danger Beast within it will cover its wielder with armor.
The Grand Chariot armor grants its user increased physical strength and speed, like the Incursio armor. Grand Chariot is always in a state of equilibrium, having no explosive power, meaning that Grand Chariot cannot be forcibly evolved as Incursio can.
-When equipped the user gains +75 Stats on STR and AGI but at the cost of stamina consumption.
-Flight: One of the abilities that the armor comes with is flight control.
-Absolute Defense: One of the abilities that Grand Chariot has is the <Absolute Defense> like its prototype Incursio leaving no viruses or molecules to enter the armor and extremely durable to other forms of attack taking any damage apart from Teigu's or dragon's weaknesses.
-Weapon Summoning: The Armor comes in with its built-in Battle Spear.
-Trump Card: <Grand Fall> is the trump card when the user leaps above the target by using Grand Chariot's flight ability and performs a drop-kick as a pair of floating glyphs, each consisting of four dark petals shaped like diamonds help accelerate the fall on the target to cause high damage.
-Trump Card: <Grand Fall Flügel> is a more powerful variation of the standard Grand Fall, by equipping Mastema it vastly increases the armor attack power. Using Mastema's flight capabilities, leaping tremendous heights, the immense momentum and velocity accumulated allowing the user to unleash an immensely powerful drop kick.
----
Must hand it to the creator of the armor they really made it here top-notch gear with <Archive Magic> analyzing the runes made for it like space manifestation.
Putting back the key for the time being I placed it back into my <Requip> space for the moment.
My thoughts still draw back to the time when I was nearing the end of this small break of training when the Tower of Heaven Arc started up with many things keeping me up in my head to prepare ahead.
Many doubts and fears mostly in my head.
Despite learning to use Magic the question remained on what play style I would need I was somewhat hesitant to choose one if at all any type of Magic I could use effectively in combat for myself.
Like there are just so many to choose from I really can't tell which one I want to master or pick from if I'm being completely honest.
It's quite overwhelming in fact. I can choose to learn any one of them and yet I'm suffering from how big or many choices to choose from to go off on.
If only I could create physical doubles that can do it without having to worry about and no I'm not talking about using Lostvyane's ability to do it.
It takes a small amount of hits before those clones vanish. What I need though is a group of certain individuals to accomplish certain tasks and criteria needed for me…
Wait…
Blinking a bit an idea does come to mind when I recall a certain character from the Kingdom Hearts franchise reminds me of the villains.
I remember one with the ice shield created data duplicates from his foes…
Couldn't I do the same with my <Archive Magic> creating an avatar of sorts for myself in that case?
I could use my Lostvayne as a basis to understand the runes with <Archive Magic> to analyze it properly with <Mana Method> by giving it a direct command.
*Shiii*
Summoning up the Mana in the air I began to work on the runes commanding my <Archive Magic> into scanning me personally.
Deciding the next step, I began to focus on trying to use my <Archive Magic> natural ability to manipulate data commanding it with <Mana Method> using the surrounding area to fuel my spells keeping focus.
[Error!]
[Scanning to create <Replica> failed!]
[<Archive Magic> LEVEL UP!]
[Scanning to create <Replica> failed!]
[<Mana Method> LEVEL UP!]
[<Archive Magic> LEVEL UP!]
[Scanning to create <Replica> failed!]
[<Mana Method> LEVEL UP!]
…
Seeing multiple magical screens telling me that I failed at commanding my Magic to scan me is going to be a very frustrating process…
This could take a while…

[September 10, X784]
Zzzz…
[Ding!]
[Scanning to create <Replica> succeed!]
[Skill: <Replica> is created!]
[<Archive Magic> LEVEL UP!]
Wha…?!
Immediately waking up from the sounds of the screens popping up and activating I immediately mistook it as my parents coming into my room, "I know what this looks like, but I promise I wasn't watching to j– oh it finished."
Whew…
Looks like I was just dreaming the whole thing.
Thank God for that.
Now then…
Observing my new skill I couldn't help but smirk at the scene looking at my new skill I unlocked using <Mana Method> continuously trying to create a Replica like that Organization 13 Vexen guy.
Skill List.
----
<Replica> (Active) Lv.1/100 Exp: 0.0%
Cooldown: 24 hrs.
Description: Summons a Replica by consuming the user's energy. The number of Replicas increases at higher levels. The user becomes connected (link) to their summoned digital Replica. Note if a Replica is active you can't summon above the limit.
-Current Number of Replicas: 1
----
Raising an eyebrow at that it seems like I can use my own energy to summon my Replica but has a cooldown time like <Fairy Heart> but hey a free ally is a good ally.
Especially if it's myself.
Activate.
*Shiii*
Activating <Replica> a magic circle appeared and soon materialized the Replica out from thin air with me twitching as my digital clone looked exactly like me in every way except…
Before I could properly respond Mavis soon chimes in acting tired with her fake yawn phasing through my apartment, "Ahh… morning Silva came to haunt you – okay…"
She freezes as she looks at my Replica with wide eyes as she gazes down my Replica crouch area as she whistles with an evident blush on her face, "Whew~ You sure packing a dangerous blade down there…"
I groan as my Replica remains inactive before summoning up some spare clothing for it to use dressing up by my command.
Mavis for her part looks intrigued about the current events unfolding with amusement in her tone.
Ignoring her I began to activate <Archive Magic> to soon see my Replica's stats with a raised eyebrow looking at the differing difference to my own status.

Hmm…
From the looks of things my Replica 1 is exactly a replica of me without [THE GAMER] abilities it seems. That's certainly a shocking amount of sense actually…
Originally, I didn't have gamer-like powers so the scan error might have not been able to produce one like that but went for the next best thing with me having my skills instead perhaps…
Giving my clone a demonstration of using <Cryokinesis> and <Sword Mastery> I nodded my head in understanding as he obediently agreed without much effort as Mavis tried to prod my Replica 1 phasing in and out of his digital body.
This is certainly going to be getting used to…
