Chapter 4 hex souls

"Hex souls are souls which will be embedded in you when you start the game. ", and Jester snapped his finger and a small crest like white gem appeared on the palm of king's right hand.

"The small gem on your hand is the zeroth form of your hex soul. It is in its embryo stage , so when it hatches it will take on the form of your own unique soul or personality it grants you power far beyond what you can ever imagine. It takes different forms for different persons once it hatches .

For some it materialises it self as weapons , for some as gadgets , for some as apparel with special characteristics, and there are infinite unique liberations of a hex soul. No one knows the extent of how much it can give. But know this , not one hex soul's power is lesser than the other , each have their advantages and disadvantages and uniqueness, but no one soul is lesser than the other,Keep that in your mind always", said Jester and ended his conversation with me again showing the crazy smile like before.

The explanation given by Jester made me understand one thing that , everything we are affects what our hex soul becomes .

"So if I delete my account after hatching my hex soul and again create a new account would I get a new hex soul", I asked.

"Nope you won't get a chance again to create a new account, because your brain waves are being recorded once you register on this game , so even if you use a different nerve gear you will still have your old account, with the same hex soul", replied Jester with a crazy look and a mad smile.

The more I look at him, the more scary and crazy he feels. They record my brain waves that's creepy too.

"I am ready send me in, but can you explain me the aim of the game....", I couldn't wait no more. 

"There is no aim , just flow along with the world and experience it's infiniteness ,Be careful out there kiddo!", said Jester and snapped his fingers and I disappeared out of the room. Even though he looked crazy and scary , Jester felt like a good person that's what I felt from him.

I take back what I said Jester is a mad dog the travel was really crazy, try free falling with no parachute from a crazy height and fall head first into a rock. 

He could have atleast warned me that I'll be free falling head first on a rocky patch of ground. 

I felt dizzy a bit ,I felt strange and I would have surely died if it was the real world.

I dusted myself up and looked around, everything around me felt so real. The realism of the game was mindblowing. I was really shocked the people, the buildings, the other things before me all felt so real.

I looked at the people I was not able to differentiate, players from the NPC's because everyone looked like real humans to me.

The village was small , my brother had already explained to me where I would start and how to meet him in game. All I had to do was find the fountain in front of the village. 

But I decided to look around a bit before meeting up with him. As I was walking through the street someone bumped into me , and I fell hard too hard, that I felt like I was on the edge of death.

I looked at my status bar and it had fell more than 90% , Am I that weak that I looked around but I couldn't see who had dashed on me. A strange squeaky voice was heard from below my waist, someone tugged my shirt lightly , It was a black cat wearing a long boot and small sword stuck to it's waist. 

"Sorry for making you fall , forgive me I was in a hurry searching for my sister , have you seen her".

The cat explained how she looked, "She is about this height", It pointed at my waist then continued, "She has blue eyes and was wearing a red dress", it talked in a hurry.

"Here have this potion for your trouble, and if you see her , try contacting me ", and it provided me a small plaque with a name written on it.

"Irene Gladstone ,Vice Captain of Knight order"

Before I had finished reading the plaque and tried to ask her a question, she disappeared out as if she had never existed.

A quest window appeared in front of me

"Find the sister of the Irene Gladstone and return her safely.

Difficulty: Unknown "

I quickly gulped down some of the potion and it recovered my health , I stored down the remaining potion , I only drank until my health point became full, the less than 5% potion from the bottle was only required to fill my health back to normal.

The potion tasted a bit like honey and seemed like a really high quality potion.

I didn't know that cats were allowed to become Vice captain of the Knight order and 

I didn't think I'll get a quest with unknown difficulty at all as a level 0. Simple F rank quests are given for level zero beginners I heard, How did I end up with a unknown level difficulty quest, and it hasn't been more than five minutes since I entered this village.

After finding my brother and I'll ask him what it meant.

I went near the fountain where he said he will wait. I looked around but couldn't find anyone who looked like my brother.

There was a young boy reading a newspaper, sitting cross-legged on the bench near the fountain. He seemed totally strange, be didn't fit the scene, he was the only person close enough to the fountain. He looked as if he was twelve.

I went up near the bench and slowly sat on it and and the kid slowly folded his newspaper and put it down , he uncrossed his legs and placed his hands on the bench and started looking at me strangely. 

"You sure look bizzare, Tamil"

"You... you are Azad , my big brother , How did you recognise me? "

"SHUSH, don't utter my real name so casually, I don't want others hearing it, Call me Vermont",said my brother in a childish voice which perfectly matched his appearance.
