37. Training With Lilith.

Right after Jarvis left the courtyard, Orion and Lilith remained seated on the stone bench, with only the sound of birds chirping and the sound of water gushing out of the fountain filling the air.

Orion's fingers were laced with Lilith's once again as he said to her. "Lilith, I need a favor from you."

"W-what do you want me to do?" Lilith immediately asked, looking at Orion as he slowly brought his gaze toward her with a stern look on his face.

"I would like to train with you before we leave the castle tonight."

"Really?" Lilith's eyes brightened up with joy.

Orion nodded with a smile. He was surprised to see how excited she was about training with him, but he was happy about her reaction as well.

"Okay, I'll be right back, I just need to change my clothes."

Orion watched as Lilith excused herself from the courtyard and hurriedly walked towards her room for a change of clothes.

Seeing his beautiful maid leaving, Orion shook his head with a smile and also stood up from the bench before heading towards his room.

There were a lot of things on his mind that he had to do.

'Not only do I wish to find the Ra tribe Astarte mentioned, but I would also like to quickly destroy the demon artifact and eliminate every single bandit in this city before the demons invade the city.'

'I knew coming into this world wouldn't be easy, but the experience has been amazing so far.'

'Oh, that reminds me, it will be nice to have an experienced alchemist in the castle as well.'

'I have a lot of things I wanna make, and having a professional potion brewer by my side will be paramount for my future plans.'

Aside from the things he had to do, he was also interested in training with Lilith more than anything else.

With his mind made up on the things he wanted to do, Orion hastened his steps towards his bedroom to also change his clothes.

A few minutes later, Orion arrived in the courtyard with a wooden sword in his hand.

As expected, Lilith was already there, waiting for him at the center of the courtyard.

However, to his surprise, Orion noticed that Lilith was wearing a loose tunic with a short skirt, exposing her beautiful legs and thighs.

It was the first time he had ever seen her dressed in such a way and he couldn't take his eyes off of his beautiful succubus.

It took him a while, but he was able to suppress his urges. After all, they were here for training and nothing else.

'She's probably wearing a short skirt to help her move freely.'

It was Lilith's first ever practice with Orion and she had to make sure that nothing hindered her from doing her best during their first training.

"Are you ready?" Lilith asked, her face unable to contain the excitement she was feeling.

Orion nodded in response, firmly holding his wooden sword as the two slowly infused their swords with mana, making their wooden blades shimmer with a white glow.

Lilith lowered her strength to that of an Early Stage First Order Knight before taking a step forward and suddenly vanishing from her initial spot before appearing, with her blade slashing through the air to clash with Orion's sword, causing him to slide backward.

Luckily for him, he had taken no damage with that attack.

However, Lilith wasn't done with him yet. She appeared before him once again, swinging her sword as she tried to land a hit on him, but Orion reacted quickly, parrying every strike she made as she slowly increased the pace.

But the more she increased her speed, the faster Orion was able to block her attack, up to the point where he was now on the offensive, surprising Lilith who now had a beautiful smile on her face.

Although she was now the one trying her best to deflect his attacks, Lilith was still filled with nothing but excitement at what she was seeing.

'Now, I understand why he didn't attack until now,' she uttered in her thoughts.

'He was studying my movements and now that he has fully grasped it, he is using my moves as though it is coming naturally to him.'

'I never knew that master was a quick learner.'

Her smile widened even more after noticing a new side to the man she adored.

She tightened her grip on her sword while casting a silent spell.

The moment she was done casting the spell, a thick mist suddenly appeared, making it difficult for them to see their surroundings.

Once the mist was thick enough to fill the entire courtyard, Lilith distanced herself from Orion, knowing he wouldn't be able to see her.

But she knew Orion's ears were sharper than anyone else's, so Lilith decided to make things even more difficult for him.

At first, Lilith began to circle around him, knowing it would be easy for Orion to know exactly where she was by following the sound of her footsteps, but what would happen if he hears thirty different footsteps?

The sound would make it difficult for him to know exactly where one of her clones would strike from, and this was exactly what she did.

Orion pivoted around as he tried to pinpoint the exact spot Lilith or one of her clones would pop out from, but he was unable to.

Then suddenly, one of Lilith's clones leaped from behind him and Orion hurriedly turned around to block her attack.

However, two more clones dashed from his blind spots, plunging their mana-infused blades into his back, and causing him to groan in pain.

From afar, a thick mist could be seen clouding the courtyard, but within the mist, the sound of wood meeting wood echoed through the area.

Orion battled against all thirty clones but whenever his sword landed on a clone, the clone would turn into mist, filling him with the confidence he needed to know that he could end this battle.

About twenty minutes later, the courtyard was now as silent as a graveyard and Lilith couldn't believe what she'd just witnessed.

When their training began, she decided to lower her strength to that of an Early Stage First Order Knight, but seeing that Orion was strong enough to stand against her without breaking too much of a sweat, she decided to make things difficult for him by casting two different illusion spells.

The first one created a mist that covered the entire courtyard once again, while the second spell allowed her to create thirty clones with each of them being mid-stage first-order knights.

To her surprise, Orion was able to handle thirty Mid Stage First Order Knights on his own and Lilith couldn't wait to find out if he could battle against a Peak Stage First Order Knight.

Lilith instantly willed away the thick mist she used as a diversion, seeing as how the two of them were the only ones left.

The moment the mist cleared up, Lilith became entranced.

She looked at Orion as lust, desire, affection, and expectations burned brightly within her beautiful eyes.

Her heart was beating erratically and she couldn't wait to fight him alone without the help of the clones she created before.

She'd had countless numbers of dreams about training with Orion on a day like this, but to actually see the man she adored surpassing her expectations,

The feelings within her were indescribable.

Lilith was eager to find out how strong Orion had become.

She also wanted to know how long Orion could last when faced with a Peak Stage First Order Knight.

Currently, she was standing ten feet from him and she could see how he was panting heavily after fighting against thirty Mid-Stage First Order Knights on his own, but Lilith could see the excited look on Orion's face as well.

He could keep fighting for another thirty minutes or more.

Lilith adjusted her stance while tightly clutching onto her sword, but just before she could take a step forward, she suddenly felt a cold sensation around her feet.

Looking down at her feet, Lilith noticed that her legs were covered in ice.

"Ice?.... How did....?" Lilith was still in shock when she suddenly saw Orion appearing in front of her with his wooden sword aimed straight towards her shoulder blade.

"I won."

"What?"
