Eroge Dragon Monarch: Harem In A Game World

A misunderstanding allowed Orion to be summoned before the goddess of war instead of his best friend, who had initially annoyed the goddess. Luckily for Orion, the misunderstanding was cleared by the goddess’s sister, who also allowed Orion to understand the true reason behind his summoning. With his mind made up to not only live as he pleases but also prevent the two goddesses from fading into obscurity, Orion’s soul safely transmigrated into the game world. Upon waking up in this new world, Orion discovered he had woken up in the body of a prince who also happened to be a villain in the game. In the game, Prince Orion Azvameth was fated to not only lose his half-sister and her mother but was also destined to lose his personal maid, who sacrificed herself for him. As if the cruelty he was meant to suffer wasn’t enough, his kingdom was destined to be plagued with both internal and external problems while he was destined to die at the hands of the protagonist after being used as a puppet by a Greater Demon. With all this weighing on his mind, Orion vowed to not only change his fate but also that of those he cared about. However, his actions were bound to create a butterfly effect, and what better way to defy the odds than by ruling the world.

21. Lilith's Diary.

The next morning, the first light of dawn slowly seeped through Lilith's bedroom window. The light gradually spread throughout her room, making it easier to see the wooden furniture in her room and her soft bed.

Still, on her bed, Lilith stirred from her slumber, her eyes fluttering open to the dimly lit room.

Noticing that it was time to wake up, she gracefully rose from her bed and the rustle of her flowing gown echoed in the quiet morning air.

She made her way across the room and approached a concealed alcove where she had hidden a magical tome.

This tome was different from the other tomes in the castle, and it had been a gift to her from Orion's mother. The cover of the tome was adorned with intricate runes, making it a rare item to find throughout the kingdom and the empire at large.

Lilith retrieved the tome, her quill pen, and her magical ink. Her quill pen was crafted from a phoenix feather which made it far better than other quill pens in the kingdom.

With all these in hand, She sat on a chair and placed the tome on a wooden desk before murmuring a spell that allowed the tome to unfurl its pages, revealing several words that had been inscribed in it for years.

The magical tome acted as her personal diary and no one but her could read its contents.

If anyone else aside from Lilith were to see her diary right now, all they would see would be nothing but blank pages.

Orion's mother, Aurora, had gifted Lilith the magical tome when she arrived at the castle at the age of eight.

Aurora had asked her to record her treasured memories and experiences within the tome to preserve them.

Lilith smiled as she recalled the first day she received the diary from Aurora. It was also the first day she happened to meet Aurora as well.

'It's been a while since I last read its contents,' She thought to herself before staring out of the window to check out how bright the day had gotten.

'I still have a few minutes left before my master wakes up.'

'I guess I could try rereading it,' Due to how Orion had boldly kissed her a few hours ago, Lilith had been unable to stop smiling ever since she woke up.

It still felt like a dream recalling how Orion had expressed his love for her and how he wanted her to become more than just a maid to him.

Lilith's cheeks reddened even more as she envisioned the two of them with little children running around the castle.

This prompted her to read her diary. She wanted to revisit her memories from when she first arrived at the human continent and how her feelings towards Orion began as well.

With her mind made up, she quickly flipped through the pages, causing the rustling sound of the pages to fill her room.

'This is it,' Lilith said as she looked at the first set of words she ever recorded in her diary, then comfortably positioned herself in her chair before reading.

<< Dear diary, it's been a month since I arrived at the castle and although everyone in the castle seems nice and welcoming, I have decided to care for myself and no one else just like I've always done.

The queen gave me a magical tome the first day I arrived here but I didn't have any use for it till now, and besides, I didn't know how to write, but the queen has been persistent in teaching me a lot of things like learning how to read and write, and she won't be happy if she finds out that I haven't been able to use my diary for a long time now like she had told me to.

I do not like humans. I hate them because they are weak, but if there's anyone I do not want to offend in this castle, it would be the queen. She's quite nice but she's also very strong and scary.

A month ago, the queen found me in an impoverished and rundown area in the capital city where families struggle to make ends meet. It was extremely difficult for me to find a meal to eat, but I survived by stealing and fighting for food.

Since I arrived here on the human continent, I noticed how weak and annoying the humans were so I tried to avoid getting attached to anyone weak.

Besides, my goal was to become strong enough to return to the demon realm and to kill my uncle who murdered both of my parents.

If my mother hadn't sacrificed herself to save me before using a teleportation spell to send me here, I would have probably been dead as well, but I vowed to survive this hardship and one day find a way to rid myself of the curse my uncle placed on me.

Since the humans were weak and stupid, no one was able to detect a demon living among them. My life has been a constant struggle for survival the past few months since I arrived on the human continent with no one knowing my secret, at least, until a beautiful young woman with glowing snow-white skin arrived in front of me with a precious smile on her face.

The first words she spoke to me were, 'You are a demon.' And in that moment, terror gripped my heart, because I knew this woman was unlike any other in the city.

Surprisingly, she did not order her knights to execute me. Instead, she brought me into the castle and asked to hear my story.

Though I had the chance to deceive her, something deep within me warned against it.

In the end, I divulged everything about my past; including how my uncle had slaughtered everyone I held dear, and how he sealed my powers with a curse.

Upon hearing my tale, the queen smiled and offered to raise, teach, and train me until I grew strong enough to seek my vengeance.

She vowed to find a way to break my curse, on the condition that I would care for her son when the time came for her to depart.>>
